I have a feeling this thread will be closed soon. Goodnight, all. Get your rest for post 20/20 talk tomorrow.

So, your speculation is that Sherri took painkillers and sedatives and allowed someone (or more than one person) to break her nose, burn her, brand her, beat her, chain her (chain marks left on her body), cut off her hair, and to keep her away from her family, including her 2 young children, for 3 weeks?

Based on the information available, yes I believe it to be a possibility. Other possibilities are that she was used to send a strong message to someone in her family/close friends. Remember, we don't know the true extent of her injuries AND is wasn't necessary to hospitalize her upon her release by all accounts that I have read. The broken nose you refer to was from her drop from the vehicle.

If people al over the nation ,and the world even, were accusing my husband and I of creating a hoax, faking my abduction for money etc, faking my injuries, branding myself etc, then I would be thankful if he went to the public to defend our good names. Maybe it would be awkward and messy but I would appreciate him trying to stand up for me.

That post of mine really irked a lot of people. But that is how I feel. All sorts of assumptions were made about it instead of just reading what it said. Of course I would hope that my husband would look out for me, but neither of us would be scouring social media to see what strangers were saying.........I don't give a rats behind what other people think. My friends, yes, of course. But my friends wouldn't go on national TV out of respect for my wishes. Different strokes for different folks. Presumably, Sherri appreciates her husbands efforts. AMEN Just My Opinion

Oh gotcha!! Thanks. I just noticed the hubby had one. I've never known a man to have Pinterest is that normal? LOL
he is following about secret rooms and secret passageways, etc. Is this normal?

I follow some men on Pinterest. Mostly artists who post their artworks there (among other places). I do only know one man IRL who uses it, and he does to pin manly-ish things like BBQs and landscaping ideas etc - so while Pinterest is overwhelmingly women, it's not only women. There is a men's fashion category, for one thing, plus there is a fair bit of softcore pr0n (yes I know women consume it too, but most of the posts are made by men, I sadly come across a lot of when when looking for genuine lingerie Pins, and there is always pornographic Pins in there, which annoys me no end, it's not what I'm looking for and Pinterest don't filter it well).

As for this case; it's something else. It's wild. That's all I have to say.

By all accounts that you've read? Okay I've probably read about fifty articles on this case and I've only seen that version in one of them. Are you sure it's not a mistake made by the reporter?

As a local, I can tell you that you're wrong, that the Rod Rodriguez whose company went bankrupt in 2014 is not SP's FIL. Additionally the FIL has never met Cameron Gamble, and didn't friend him on FB until after CG got involved in the case.

Regardless, all of this is probably against the TOS.

Redding, I have been watching your posts. How do you know the family? Its pretty obvious that you are pretty vested in the case.

I actually sent a pm to a mod a earlier today asking some questions about how they handle verified members identities. No response but it appears I need to send an email to get the ball rolling. I apologize to the mods for not having followed the correct procedure.

Very very true, Maybe I should dig a little deeper lol
I saw it and being that there's only a couple reviews, I'd take that with a grain of salt. Could easily be a troll. If there were several that would be different.

So many things just dont jive. I will watch 20/20 tomorrow with a hawks eye. What is said will not compare to body language.

in all my years here, I've never seen it, but IMO it's brilliant to shut down controversial threads at night. gives everyone a breather...thanks mods (and another nod to Bessie!)

@ counterintuitive, a link to your post would be most helpful (and telling)...see you in the a.m. folks! great discussion tonight!!!

I just got back after spending way too much time looking at Facebook & Instagram and blogs of some of the people involved. The reverse ransom is just so odd-it's tossed about like it's an actual thing. Horrible to say, but wow-everybody seemed to know all along that this was some sort of kidnaping, as opposed to what an expected outcome is after that length of time had passed. Does anyone have more info on Mr Gamble's military service? Length of time, branch etc? When I read one of his blurbs, it seemed lifted from the movie Taken-about him possessing a particular set of skills. Are there employees? Is he a one man show? It seems like a bunch of people promoting themselves in various social media platforms, yet they have minimal social media presence on their personal accounts. Most people I know who use social media for business purposes link heavily from their personal pages, with the theory that if a personal friend "likes" or "shares", it ends up spreading their business message much more readily. This is all so hinky.
