That was awfully nice of them after having one of their heads slammed into the toilet. Just saying.

Especially when they have a gun as SP said. She sure is brave for fighting them. Glad to hear they allowed her to shower....

If these women are hot-headed enough to shoot a gun during an argument with each other, Sherri is lucky someone didn’t shoot HER after slamming one against a toilet. She’s also lucky they didn’t really shave her head, as was initially reported.

*Ahem*

I can't remember - did she say one or both captors dropped her off when they released her?

The latest story states that the younger one dropped her off. I guess the younger one was so pissed off at having her head slammed into the toilet she had had enough of this woman.

It was always just one of the captors that released her. We never had any other details on that, though. The two of them arguing and the gun shot is new info.

The community held a Welcome Home party for Sherri Papini, she did not attend.

Also, her husband took a polygraph and passed. Has any information been published that confirm is Sherri Papini has taken a polygraph?

Both Papini and her husband have passed polygraph tests regarding their accounts of the incident, authorities said.

I cannot help but think of the horror that Denise Huskins was put through, because LE and the public did not believe her story either.

Vallejo police assumed woman's abduction was hoax because she 'did not act like a kidnapping victim'
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/...-hoax-denise-huskins-20160801-snap-story.html

Vallejo police say they thought a woman’s kidnapping was a hoax after she reemerged days later wearing sunglasses, carrying an overnight bag and rejected offers to be reunited with her family.

In court documents recently filed in U.S. District Court, Vallejo police detectives revealed the reasons why they thought Denise Huskins’ disappearance was made up. Attorneys representing the officers also made an appeal to the judge to dismiss a federal case filed against them in March by Huskins and her boyfriend, Aaron Quinn, because they said their statements were made during an ongoing police investigation and are protected by law.

Four months later, the FBI announced that it had found Huskins’ kidnapper — Matthew Muller, a Harvard-educated former attorney.

The new information to me it sounds like one of them shot the other during an argument and then released Sherri, but I wasn't sure if she'd seen both of her captors after the argument and gunshot.

Dam if i was allowed to finally shower and slammed my captors head into a terlet and cut my foot I would be so glad they didn't kill me right then and there

Yeah, what are the odds of batterer/kidnappers being so cool about it?

I just reread the new article from king5 and just realized that she heard the two women arguing, then a gunshot, then the younger woman came and got SP and let her go. So sounds like maybe there is one less attacker for the authorities to find and arrest. I guess we don't know if the other person died, though, hence releasing police sketches of both.

Interesting about the male DNA. Was "he" posing as a woman to confuse SP? So very many questions...

k-theory? We know she was texting Michigan man who has been cleared. No details as to the nature of texts. For all I know she wanted to hook up to buy Lavender. What if it wasn't Lavender. She is texting with someone else. GF sees the text and decides to teach her a lesson.

Considering there is no motive, I would assume Sherri must be fearful for other random women in her area.

The sketches look like something from a tv crime drama.

BBM: About the clothes.

"Papini was found wearing light gray sweatpants and a dark gray sweatshirt."

Those are not the clothes she went running in -
"Interstate 5, a corridor for drug and human trafficking, passes only a few miles from where police said she last went jogging, wearing a pink top."

So whatever went on she ended up in a gray sweat suit. So male DNA was found on the clothes and it wasn't her husband's but female DNA was found on her body.

Jackson said that during an examination of Papini detectives found DNA from two people — a man and a woman – on her. Jackson declined to reveal what materials the samples came from, such as a hair or bodily fluids.

“We’re not releasing exactly what the samples came from, so that when we get a chance to interview some suspects, we can maybe have an edge on them,” he said.

Jackson said a woman’s DNA was found on Papini’s body, while the man’s DNA was on her clothes. The male DNA was not from her husband, who has been ruled out as a suspect. Jackson said the DNA was uploaded into a criminal database this spring, but so far, no matches have come back

Seems odd to say the least. Or could it be as simple as she ended up wearing these gray sweats that belonged to one of the women and the DNA is touch DNA - male on the outside and female on the inside as in a Male removed the clothing from the woman.

SP just happened to end up wearing it at some later time.

Idk,,,but the sketch on the right looks like a man to me.

Or a really really unattractive woman.

All I have to say is good luck to the FBI because I sure as heck can't figure this out.

It's hard tell for sure if a male was ever present from this DNA evidence. The DNA will be more important if it's matched or connected to suspects down the road. JMO

I am curious to find out what the "more information" is. Why are they parsing it out? Why not just tell what they can tell now? Ugh.

He suggested more information is about to be released. “There’s some additional information that we’re hoping to put out in the next months or weeks, once we get through this week’s events,” Jackson said.

Wow, well worth the read. Branding, fasting, punishments.....very plausible IMO.

I actually think it’s super implausible. Was Sherri known to attend the self help seminars? where did she get the money to pay to be a part of the cult? My gut does not allow me to believe that she could have been involved with Nxivm. JMO

ETA - the brands are def not the same considering LE said something about not being able to make out the lettering of Sherri’s “brand”, and Nxivm has a very clear brand. Not to mention I am very sure LE would have pieced that together by now. Nxivm Is very controversial with very rich socialites involved at the top of the chain. They don’t seem to be the type of people to enlist random Hispanic woman to abduct and abuse one of their members.

Considering there is no motive, I would assume Sherri must be fearful for other random women in her area.

I’d be terrified if I lived in her area. I mean imagine going to your mailbox and being abdicated by two Latina women with their faces covered? The women who live in the area must be on edge 24/7...........
