I think the latter.
I go back and forth on why he included Nathan in the plan. He either decided it would be torturous for Alvin to have to watch and know his grandson was murdered or he just wanted to eliminate Nathan as a witness.
Actually he can. If you look up ethics and judges it's quite clear that they are allowed to give opinions. View attachment 110087View attachment 110088

Being from the States that is the biggest difference I have noticed in the two systems. It takes some getting used to if you are new, as I am, to how it's done in Canada.
This seems to be a huge difference from US trials. In US trials at this point the judge just reads instructions and turns over case to jury to deliberate.
I am really surprised judge is walking through all the evidence again.
Would the judge cover anything the defense brought up as evidence if they would have brought anything or is it just what the prosecution covered?

I lean towards eliminating him as a witness too. And if that is the case I hope it was quick and as painless as something like that could be.
YOu just made me laugh out loud in the middle of all this mess! THANK YOU xoxoHe is sure better looking that the court drawing, lolol
So if deliberations start tonight - how will we ever know how long the jury took to make a decision ? ?
