Who exactly went bankrupt? From all that I found in MSM, it seems NO's grandmother KL and father RO suffered relatively recent personal bankruptcies and grandfather AL had one of his businesses go into bankruptcy at some point (but did not have a personal bankruptcy himself).

At this point people are making it sound like everyone in the family suffered multiple bankruptcies...but MSM only describes 2 personal bankruptcies and one business failure.

I made reference to "various bankruptcies in the L and O families". I was referring to KL, RO and one of AL's companies. Certainly didn't mean to make it sound like "everyone in the family suffered multiple bankruptcies". I haven't heard of any others.

This family, then there's a woman and two kids, and a man and two kids!! Then the vehicle found burning with 3 people in it!! Crazy!!

JO is the bio daughter of KL and her initials before marriage were JLP P is what her mothers maiden name starts with so speculation is AL is her step father

Also, when Nathan's mom spoke at the press conference, she mentioned "mom and Alvin".

If she was the couple's daughter, they wouldn't have singled this information out.

Last week, a tipster called Crime Stoppers in Calgary to say Mr. Garland was working in Vancouver as a chemist under the name Hartley. Within two hours of the tip, police made the arrest.

Who in Calgary knew that DG was using the fake ID and made the phone call that got him busted?

Right? That should settle it. I thought I had read that AL had children (1 living in the US?) from a previous marriage as well as a daughter and son with KL. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? I've searched online but I had read it here from a MSM link and now don't seem to be able to find it. Anyone?

It might have just been that the ID was in with a long forgotten box of his stuff. If LE want to bring the guy in, they might pick whatever charge is readily available.

Or in his box of "souvenirs". IMO, LE would have checked on DG's background long before Friday night.

AL has at least 3 other children from a previous marriage a son who is in a relationship and has children with PG, and 2 daughters. KL has 2 children JO and a son. I think the info came from a online bio written by KL that someone found on the first day of this case.

That's an interesting question. If he managed to remain there for several years, it's quite likely that only his family knew where he was. When did his sister first become involved with Alvin's son Allen?

My guess is that she's in shock and is having a hard time processing everything. Her Son and Mother have gone missing, and was she not the one who was in the home to discover it all?
