Great point! This would also possibly help LE gather info about DG's whereabouts depending on who came forward reporting sightings. Very imlortant info if DG is respoonsible and has disposed of evidence beyond the search area.

Just jumping off your post...

I pulled up this article from June 3rd that IMO indicates LE has more footage of the Green truck (and, hopefully, the activities of the driver)...

NATHAN O'BRIEN AMBER ALERT CASE 'LESS OF A MYSTERY' SAY POLICE

"We've obtained video and film from both neighbors' homes and businesses in the area."

This sounds encouraging...

This is the first time I have heard of this, do you have a link? TIA

I find it odd that such an 'intelligent' man would use Matt1 as a username, yet sign off as Doug... & he used his dads email address. :dunno:

Matt2 username, same email address - posts #5 & 7

Just an observation, there seems to be a considerable less amount of media tweets coming from Airdrie compared to this time the last 3 days. Pondering if this is significant, or if the media are diverted to covering the press conference, or if the search is winding down and media haven't so much to tweet. Hmm

Agreed, I think combination of both skibaboo.
I think the search at Airdrie will be diverted turning into a paper trail and leads type investigating soon rather than a specific place.

What reporting are you getting this information from? Not trying to be snarky, but I read on CBC that NO was dropped by JO at 10pm on the 30th. :dunno:

It has since been established that JO was helping with the estate sale, and that NO and his younger brother were with her. She left at 10pm, leaving NO to have a sleepover at his grandparents.
The original report of NO being dropped off at the house at 10pm was never officially corrected and, unfortunately, is still being seen in some reports.

It's JMO, but I think she meant it in the context of whatever happened not being about her son and him just being at the wrong place at the wrong time. It's possible the family suspected what had happened from the beginning, regarding AL and his dealings/past with DG, etc.
You're probably right. JMO but it could be seen as she knew something in advance.?? Maybe trouble brewing or past threats against AL. Just think it's a weird thing to say, cause why would a grandson not be supposed to be with his grandparents?

"Garland — whose rap sheet includes busts for drug trafficking and possession of stolen property — was later charged with stealing the identity of a 14-year-old boy who died after Garland fell asleep at the wheel and smashed into a car in 1980.

From what this says DG was the one who caused the crash that killed MH and then he stole his identity.

My first post ... I don't find it odd at all that CL go to AL's home after not being able to get a hold of him. Last year I got a call from my mother-in-law's best friend on Canada Day because she couldn't get a hold of her by phone and said it wasn't like her. I thought she was being paranoid since it was Canada day and she was likely out. I checked on her anyway and found her dead of a massive heart attack in her back yard. Sometimes people just know the habits of others well enough to feel when something is wrong. My husband passed away suddenly last year as well and I had a foreboding feeling all week and when I couldn't get a hold of him at home I knew right away that something was really wrong even though there was nothing leading up to it that would have made me suspicious and sent someone to check on him

Hope my post was in line with TOS and okay :)

So very sorry to hear of your loss

Wow. So it was him. Creepy.

Yeah, according to the article it was. Unless it's bad reporting.
That was in the day before we had training for being impaired by things other than alcohol. Makes you go hmmmmmm.

I sent a tweet to Reid Feist asking if Garland was the cause of the collision.

An interesting article i found, about another location being searched and some mention of bad business dealings between AL and the person of Interest which i assume is DG

Hmm, several years ago, two of my family members were knocked down crossing the street and the driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.

DG is charged with this in 2009. Is anyone aware of this potential accident? I do know you can also be charged with this if you go through a crosswalk or intersection as a pedestrian is crossing.

Great find, thank you. I am however a little skeptical as to if that is true. If he fell asleep at the wheel would he not be charged with some type of crime, dangerous driving, manslaughter?

ETA Hmm I forgot it was 1980

THANK YOU FOR FINDING THAT!! Confirms my strong belief. Makes the whole thing all the more dramatic (and worthy of a great movie/fiction for crime psychology studies and education no less).
