I wonder if DG properly registered his company. Because there's a larger company with that same name that at least some o&g companies deal with, including the one I work for. Surely the duplicate name would have been flagged in a pre-registration NUANS search.?? I thought corporate registries wouldn't accept names that were too similar.

I don't think that is a window cranker opening style casement window. I think it is simply a separate section of the window frame casement and is now missing that section of glass for whatever reason likely LE took it away. Reason for the two separate glass sections without a cranker open style window is often times the glass would be too large for the support of the glass. To me there is only one section of glass that opens and that is the right hand side of the front window. You can clearly see that the plastic casement around that area is larger than the left side section.

If you look at the similar "pane" on the other side of the window, well, it looks like a crank open casement window to me. It clearly has a separate 'frame'. Admittedly, I know very little about windows so this is just a naive observation on my part.

So assuming DG is a serial killer, which this study focuses on, his age could be a good reason he does fit the profile for the disappearance. ( bodies/evidence removed). Fascinating.

I too myself was wondering why this supposedly expensive "cupcake holder" was being sold at the L's sale, since it was already shown on Kijiji by KL's friend why lug it all the way to Calgary when potential buyers could come buy it at the real seller's home in Canmore? Just thinking out loud.

As I've been doing some digging of my own, since KL is a licensed RE agent, I suspect she has some amount of savvy as it applies to lucrative home sale deals. As far as I can tell, it was never listed on any publicly accessible database.

I believe on one of the newscasts the reporter stated that the Calgary Real Estate Board said the KL was a licensed RE agent but had not worked in 2 years. Of course the sale of the house could have been done privately.

I remember someone mentioning on here that they found the actual sale of the house was May 2013. Perhaps the closing date was December 2013 and the lease back began after that?

Just another thought, things are not looking that good at this point in time. LE wants to find evidence and more, could they not bring the Army in? I am from BC province next to Alberta and I believe there is an Army base close to Edmonton.

The post asked about MH's employment records. If they meant MKH, MKH was 14 years old at the time of his death so doubtful he was working.

Calgary is a big centre, compared to Calgary. Maybe everyone was expecting a huge turnout to the estate sale and that it had a good chance of being sold.

I get the feeling every move this man makes is for a reason. Self declared breakdowns etc previously - were they to gain sympathy ?
So if he was leaning in looking at the monitor it was for a reason- to draw attention to something. In this case he now has it in record ( same as his " I was tired and fell asleep at the wheel statements and his stating he had breakdowns ) and a judge hearing and "thinking " that he has bad eyesight and he very well may but I still feel this is a man that does things for a reason. Just how I feel about it anyway...

One article said that leaning forward into the monitor would give one a better view of the courtroom. Maybe he was looking to see who was (and wasn't) sitting in that room??

I'm just curious, but how do you know that's luminol? I honestly don't know anything about it other than what I've seen on television so I have no idea what it looks like in natural light. I googled it, but found way too much fluff & junk to sift through.

Sorry, I was all wet on that Ontario Mom. I only got the “loo” sound right. Can't recall who said it, but they are right about it being the leucocrystal violet. Luminol is the blue stuff that you see glowing in the dark.

I did read all the references. Sure DG slots in to some things but we still have limited information on him. Until he can be tied to something (charged with murder/abduction) we only have generalizations to go by, IMHO. I'm not willing to suspect him of being a serial killer…. yet.

The mention of Panama is interesting. I tried to find the link where Alvin had a company in Panama, but haven't had any luck. If Garland was producing mercury, and Alvin was marketing it, then if he wasn't paid, that would be a problem, but that doesn't have anything to do with patents.

Not sure if this is the Panama link you mean, but in thread #1 post 282 I had mentioned finding that AL is listed as a director of this business in Panama:

Just thinking and I do not like what I am thinking , in fact I really do not want to say it, but here goes..what if they were shot...that the shooter intended to shoot A&K for monies owed and unfortunately NO was there.

Reasons:
DG is a small man and I am sure he could be taken out by AL with the help of KL or at least she or NO could have run and called 911.

There was evidence of a serious medical trauma.



Just a theory I have.



The drag marks.

It has been posted a few times upthread with links that there were drag marks that were recently cleaned. If someone took time to clean the drag marks outside, why wouldn't they clean the blood inside?
