Now that I read about those products, I'm settling on the idea she may have had an allergic reaction to use of the products which makes sense why it would seem suspicious and why we would not have heard anything. Maybe she turned around to find help when her face starting burning up. If that's the case, it is sad indeed.

I know when I was getting married, I wrapped myself in a plastic trash bag before jogging so I could slim down. Makes sense. IMO

No more speculating from me now. May God bless her family.

Nothing suspicious there, COD would have been determined after autopsy, no need for a tip line, criminal investigation or drones, AMHO. No need for an extensive in depth on site investigation
I can't imagine her going to work all wrapped up, and in the wrong direction
And of course, she wasn't behind the wheel of the car when found

Totally disagree , firstly - those wraps are done at home and you have to wash your skin after - what woman goes to work with a face wrap on ? Honey that will F up your makeup that you just spent 20 mins applying lol there's no reason anyone would do that , much less mummify themselves to the point that they drive 10 kilometres in the opposite direction of their destination , only to pull over and take a nap on the back seat and never wake up .
There would be no mystery , toxicology results plus the visual presence of the wraps and the public knowledge she sold them , no need for a criminal tip line . I can totally see your point about the cleanses though , I've read about nutritional cleanses lowering your blood sugar to the point of coma / death , and it makes sense with it being so close to her wedding - women tend starve themselves in the last month , but the autopsy would show this and the case would be closed .
Just noticed it's October 6 th , two full months with nothing it's kind of mind blowing .

Have a happy thanksgiving and keep your family close and the theories coming , everyone 💖

Not to keep squashing your idea.. but also wanted to mention that allergic reactions tend to create observable changes in the body/blood, via creating antibodies to fight the allergen off, etc., and i'm confident that an ME/coroner would notice the changes, etc.

I have always wondered why JR's body was sent to Toronto for autopsy as opposed to somewhere closer, such as Brantford, Hamilton, Cambridge, etc. Makes me wonder if there was something specific that police were suspecting at the time and they may have wanted some kind of specialized testing facility to do the job, like perhaps CFS?

Also, police had initially indicated that the autopsy would be performed on the Monday, but it seems it wasn't done until the Tuesday, even though it was a sudden, unexpected, suspicious death which potentially could have had an impact on the community's safety. One would think that type of case might take priority, so that makes me wonder what the reason was for the delay... was it because all of the morgues were too booked up and that's the soonest and closet they could get.. or because they wanted to wait until x number of hours later to enable them to perhaps better determine the TOD based on decomposition status.. or did they actually commence the autopsy on the Monday but didn't complete/get results until the Tuesday.. or something different?

interesting article here:

Going for the tour? lol Regarding the change of venue, if it is as I've suggested, a large law suit would take place and they would need the best of the best toxicology done and I believe the smaller centres may lack in that or the TO centre has the specific specialists they needed. (speculating)

if they still had tours going, I would sign up in a minute! I think the tours were offered prior to its opening? lmk if you know differently!

it has been 2 months since her body was found. if her death was attributable to a product she was using, i'm confident they would have confirmation of this by now, they wouldn't need a tipline any more, the family wouldn't be suggesting a 'murderer' is responsible, and i don't think police would be reported in the news as saying they need tips on this 'crime'.

did someone else on this thread mention something along the lines of, 'the lady dost protest too much'? i'm getting the same impression from the same person. in the days and weeks following such a sudden and mysterious death, wouldn't one be immersed in grief and coming to grips with the realities of a new life without that additional income, childcare support, and personal attachment, as opposed to showing the world happy dappy photos that seemed to not be important enough to have been posted previously?

Nola, and Deugirtni

You could both be 100% right.

At the moment , I am not seeing it. Been wrong before, will be again
I am not even sure LE has a POI, I certainly hope they do, but who knows

To be honest, if you checked out my FB, there would be very few pics of me with my husband, however, were something awful were to happen, I may also plaster my page with memories.
I haven't heard a negative thing about this couple, on the contrary, all I have read is how very happy she was.

Fiances FB wasn't the only one to disappear and come back
Could we paint the other FB user with the same brush?

I am not sure why LE have not called it murder , maybe because they have said NOTHING from early on
If it is murder , whether the words are spoken or not, the murderer is feeling the pressure

I really hope you are both wrong...No offence intended, you know what I mean

This post lands at random.

Remember folks ... social media accounts of individuals not named POI or suspect are off-limits, so speculating based on what you see or don't see there is not allowed.

Totally understand , I hope I am wrong too- there are statistics on this type of thing for young women of JR's circumstance that IF it is murder - (which is what everyone close to and at a distance from this seem to believe )
The simplest explanation is most often the correct one - speculation of course as always

Really hope there is a break soon , as we head into the holidays I can't help but think of the wrenching agony her friends and family are experiencing .

Keep sleuthing , y'all .

The media has stopped talking , it seems this thread is being followed closely by all involved .

Sorry if this has been posted before or if it was found not to apply here - I haven't been diligent in keeping up to date on this thread. I found an article from 2014 that said it is the OPPs practice not to reveal the COD until the investigation closes. The example is from a Barrie case. Could this be the reason LE won't say?

"The rigid OPP policy not to disclose runs contrary to the practices of every other police service in the Greater Toronto Area.
...

*Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton regional police services, the standard is to reveal cause of death except when it might harm the investigation or a future court case.
...
"Sgt. Peter Leon said the OPP never discloses cause of death while “the investigation is ongoing.”

“I don’t know why,” Leon said of the policy. “It’s just something that’s always been the norm.”

Thanks for this information
Could be the exact reason why no COD has been reported

This is likely unrelated, however when I first started reading it, I thought omg, this is about JR's case! But it can't be because the dates aren't right. Interesting, nonetheless. So glad that they've id'd a suspect, but they can't tell us in what crime!

A death that was first investigated by Woodstock Police on Sept. 29 became the subject of a “multi-jurisdictional death investigation” as of Oct. 5. Police said in a media release that the investigation “could encompass Woodstock City, London City as well as the Counties of Oxford and Brant.”

The wording on same story in the London ON news is slightly different, saying police aren't saying 'when' the death occurred, nor 'who' the deceased is, but that Woodstock police were first notified of it ON Sept 29th.

Considering that JR's case was involving Oxford and I believe also Brant County police.. I am very curious about this story.

Also, I noticed several changes on September 28/29, while sleuthing this case, and that would be meaningful in regard to the timing noted in these articles. ie recall when certain people's SM pages disappeared for a couple of days, also people important in JR's life removed the '#justiceforjessica' picture as their FB profile picture and changed it to just a regular photo, some comments also disappeared from certain person's FB pages who were close to JR - the comments which indicated that there was a perp. Hmmmm. Here's hoping there is some action ready to be announced in JR's case. (BBM):

Police have identified a suspect in a Southwestern Ontario death probe now involving London police.

<modsnip>

Woodstock police were first alerted to the death
— investigators aren’t saying who died or when the death occurred — on Sept. 29.

If this Canadian Press journalist's "source" is to be believed, it looks like the multi-jurisdictional death investigation is not related to Jessica Rowe.

Wow, as i was reading, i thought there was new information.
I can not believe that there is no news at all

Sorry, I was hoping this could have possibly ended up being related.. but seems no news at all.. has this become a cold case already?

It certainly feels cold
there is nothing out there

Unrelated except that it reminded me that it was reported that drones were used in the first day(s) following the discovery of Jessica's car/body. Anyone exiting the scene on foot thru the surrounding fields would have shown up as a dot on the camera image, as shown in this article - which may suggest that LE had reason to believe it was foul play, rather than suicide, right from the beginning.

Can't remember what time she was supposed to have left home..??
But her body was found at 9:20, is that correct?

I am having computer problems this morning so I can't open the above link
If a suspect showed up as a dot, he/she would still have had to be in the area, right.
There has been no information stating TOD

I think LE felt this was foul play immediately but would not say much until after the autopsy
In fact, I believe they said suspicious .. based on autopsy results

After first saying they believed the circumstances surrounding a young woman’s death were suspicious, Oxford County OPP now say they do not suspect foul play.

on Tuesday, October 18th, more than two months after her death, the OPP announced evidence obtained as a result of the post-mortem lead them to rule out foul play in connection with the incident.

More here: http://www.am980.ca/2016/10/18/116381/ but still no COD.
