Although we don't know if Kienan was sleeping upstairs on Tuesday night, here is an indication by his father that he did go "down" to other rooms if he was sleepwalking.

It could mean down the hall or down the stairs...

Oh please don't let Kienan be harmed!!

Where is this Hopley guy??!!!

How could they drop the charges on him?

I was so hoping they'd have new information. :(

Crime of opportunity?

Maybe little Kienan did wander out of the house and the Hopley character snatched off the street?

He was on probation. I guess probation doesn't work does it? Lock these creeps and throw away the key. :maddening:

We need to pull the home address on Google Maps, and see if there are any cabins in the woods that could be a possible location of hiding for the perp.

Has anyone here participated on the SAR thread for Hailey Dunn? Similar to that, maybe, with GPS co-ords?

A Google Streetview walk about might prove helpful.

Here is the Whiskey Jack Resort where the Hebert Family Home is.

Sparwood is the Southern Gateway to British Columbia. Whiskey Jack is easily reached by motorists coming from Alberta and BC. It is approximately 2-1/2 hours drive from Calgary down the Cowboy Trail and about 1 hour from Cranbrook and the Canadian Rockies International Airport.

Whiskey Jack is a family-friendly mountain community located in the heart of the Elk Valley

My guess would be Hopley was breaking in to rob them, Kienan had sleep walked to the main floor, and it was just being at the wrong place at the wrong time for the poor boy.

There has been talk on facebook in the last hour or so of him being spotted in Cranbook, and that parents with young boys are being asked for ID for their kids, etc. and stopping cars by RCMP. Don't know how accurate this is, just reporting what is being said on FB.

Might be a good idea to map out some search sites in both Cranbrook and Fernie as apparently Randall Hopley is familiar with these areas (Fernie in particular).

Search continues for Kienan Hebert - The search continues for 3 year old Kienan Hebert who was reported missing yesterday morning, September 7th, 2011.
Search efforts continued overnight, including the assistance of military aircraft that facilitated with night vision capabilities. An Amber Alert, issued later in the day yesterday, remains in effect today.

Absolutely.

The only problem is there are alot of remote places in that area that only he may know of. Every time we go hiking out there, we discover a new cabin or hunting shelter. There's just so many backroads and trails. It's all very dense as well.

The father gave a short presser this morning. He was the only person who spoke - police did not comment. Father was remarkably composed and genuine, shaken but very articulate. I will have to review the audio but the father did say 'I have 9 children', 'there are nine children'. At no time did he say 'we have' or 'my wife and I have'.

He said "we" not I, but yes, I agree, very articulate. He didn't want to say what kind of work he does (other than he wants to help change people's lives) but I suspect he has public speaking experience.

The part about Kienan calling McDonald's 'Happy Donald's' made me smile.

RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk declined to say what led police to issue an Amber Alert targeting Hopley.

"I don't have the full background on Mr. Hopley, certainly more information will become available as we can release it," Moskaluk told reporters.

"Putting it bluntly, amongst us we do have people that have previously been involved in criminal activity in a variety of criminal offences. ... Some of them become quite good citizens and partake in our communities and integrate back, but some don't."

I think they should expand to Calgary. That's where he was apprehended for the break in, wasn't it? He must be familiar with certain areas in Calgary as well. Wonder how picks and chooses homes to commit crimes? Ugh!

Hope someone spots his car. I don't think there are too many Brown 1987 Toyota Camry's out there. :sigh:
