She posted on Instagram september 19 about grief and missing her mother, needing a few days to pull herself together. From her photos/posts, she likes getting out in nature. I looked at the map and her jeep was found only a few blocks from parks/the river. I wonder if anyone has searched around there? Also looks like there are some trails behind the hospital area.

Bumping this back to the first page. Seems like this case is solvable. Why so little info from the RCMP? Are they as tight lipped as our FBI? I still the think the ex-boyfriend is some how involved.

Mounties are investigating numerous tips from the public and are collecting footage as they investigate the disappearance of missing Kamloops woman Shannon White who hasn’t been seen nor heard from in more than a week.

White, 32, went missing on Monday, Nov. 1 just after 8 a.m., when she left her home on Bestwick Court in Lower Sahali.

RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said police are treating the disappearance as suspicious and are “pursuing all investigative avenues.”

She said personnel from various departments are involved in the investigation, including the serious crime unit, general investigation support team, criminal intelligence unit, data technicians and civilian staff.

Evelyn confirmed police have received multiple tips and collected and continue to collect surveillance footage available that could help further the investigation.

“If anyone has any surveillance which may be helpful – anything with Shannon or her jeep, and hasn’t yet reached out — please contact police as soon as possible,” Evelyn said in an email to KTW.

Asked why police believe White may have left the city, Evelyn did not explain, saying only that police are “exploring all investigative avenues” and that there is a chance White could have left town before the vehicle was found in the city.

A friend of White’s told KTW she had a tumultuous relationship and breakup with a boyfriend last year —something which the RCMP has been made aware, she said.

Asked whether police have spoken to an ex-boyfriend of White’s, Evelyn said police “are exploring all investigative avenues, which includes speaking with her friends, families, associates and others who know her.”

A Jeep convoy will be driving across Kamloops on Friday night, hoping to bring awareness to Shannon White’s disappearance.

Friend of Shannon, Kloee Davies, says dozens of Jeeps will start in Aberdeen at 6 p.m. on Friday night, and driving across town to Batchelor Heights.

“There’s like a Jeep club that she was part of, a smaller group of people that’s very, very tight knit. And it’s basically like a family. It’s way beyond just anything you normally would have, as a Jeep club. It’s like family,” Davies says.

“She is just somebody that, she can’t be missing. She needs to be found. She’s basically, I call her, the heart of the Jeep community. I wish I could explain everything to you in five minutes but it doesn’t work that way. Basically we really, really, really, really need her back.”

Davies says Jeeps taking part will have posters with Shannon’s face. She says she hopes someone may see the convoy and “catch on” to the case if they haven’t already, saying perhaps someone who knows something may see the posters and think to reach out to authorities.

Kamloops RCMP sifting through numerous tips in disappearance of Shannon White - Kamloops This Week

I realize LE has to keep things close to the vest, but the RCMP, like our FBI, seem to have taken it to a new level. Every question from the press is answered: we are “exploring all investigative avenues”. I guess I'm just selfish and want more clues, but part of me feels that if the RCMP was more forthcoming they would get more help from the public. MOO

Over a week has passed and there is still no sign of missing Kamloops woman Shannon White.

The 32-year-old woman went missing the morning of Nov. 1. She didn't show up for work at the accounting department at Kamloops Hyundai that morning. The next day RCMP found her Jeep TJ on Nicola Street.

White’s friend Hollee Brown is part of a tight circle of friends who continue to search for her.

“We are remaining as positive and hopeful as possible while we do everything we can to bring Shannon home,” Brown said. “Our faith is in the RCMP who are highly skilled individuals. There is a daughter, a niece and a best friend out there. If the tables were reversed, Shannon would never give up looking for one of us."

Brown said the group of friends have been working tirelessly on spreading awareness of White’s story. They recently started a page for White, to financially support White’s father who is staying in Kamloops, and to look after White’s bills.

“We are focussed on getting Shannon’s face and story spread as far as possible,” Brown said. “We are discussing putting her picture on a billboard and trying to get onto news stations. At this point she could be anywhere.”

Brown said the past week has been full of fear, sadness and prayer among the group. She said Shannon is a very social person with a big laugh who likes to shoot pool and go for drinks with friends.

“Shannon is missed tremendously by so many people,” she said. “Last week was full of emotions and felt like a bad dream. This week it has finally become real. The feeling of powerlessness is one I don’t wish upon anyone.”

Police are acting on new developments related to the case of missing person Shannon White, who hasn’t been seen or heard from in nearly two weeks.

The investigation into the disappearance of the 32-year-old Kamloops woman have led RCMP and Kamloops Search and Rescue (KSAR) to search an area west of town Friday (Nov. 12).

A police presence in the Silver Sage trailer park on the Tk'emlups reserve is also related to the investigation, according to an RCMP press release.

Police were searching a travel trailer at the park as of Friday afternoon.

Police say they’ve since learned that White’s vehicle left Kamloops for about 45 minutes on Nov.1, not long after she was supposed to arrive at work.

The vehicle was spotted heading west on the Trans Canada Highway, which police say led them and Kamloops Search and Rescue to the area being searched on Friday.

“With this new information, the Kamloops RCMP are seeking any witnesses who may have observed Shannon’s Jeep west of Kamloops on Nov. 1, to please contact police,” Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Dave Marshall said in a media release.

Police said they were also at the Silver Sage trailer park on Friday as a part of the investigation.

For White’s close friends, like Kloee Davies, the fear of the unknown grows day by day.

“Like we want to know so bad. Anything we can find out. But then when you actually hear something, it’s really scary.”

Police believe Shannon left her home in Lower Sahali around 8 a.m. on Nov. 1. She was supposed to be at her job on Notre Dame Drive for 8:30 in the morning, but she never arrived.

“She was supposed to come out and see our new house and she hadn’t done that yet,” cried Davies. “And that’s really hurting. I just want her to come here and see it and be okay, you know?”

White’s friend Nicky Michaud added, “How does someone vanish? It’s frightening. Really, it is.”

Michaud doesn’t know White directly, but they are both part of the Kamloops Jeep Club. She’s hosting a Jeep parade on Friday night for White in hopes to raise more awareness for her disappearance.

Michaud says White’s story has resonated with people all over the city — the girl next door, who simply went to work in the morning, and never came back.

“There’s times where I’m just simply driving down the road, and I’ll just break out in tears, because…I’m sorry. It’s just a horrible horrible thing.” Michaud.

Shannon White has been missing since Nov. 1, and the days leading up to her disappearance seemed anything but unusual to some people close to her.

“I heard her Jeep start and then I saw her driving away,” Matt Hatch, White’s landlord, told Castanet Kamloops, describing the morning White disappeared.

“I saw the back of the Jeep turn the direction that she's supposed to turn.”

The search for White intensified on Friday. Mounties appeared to be executing a search warrant inside a travel trailer at Silver Sage trailer park, while police and search and rescue crews scoured an area west of the city.

The day before White’s disappearance was Halloween. Hatch said he took candy to White's suite.

“Everything was just so normal in the days leading up, the night before, I talked to her, I went down, I gave her a bag of candy because it was Halloween and I had way too much leftover,” Hatch explained.

“Like I just called her like, ‘Hey, you want some candy?' 'Yeah, of course, I'll never turned down free candy’ — that was the words that came out of her mouth, and I took her a bag of candy and said hi.”

The next morning, Hatch said he saw White's Jeep drive away;. He hasn’t seen her since,

“It's pretty f--cked up having [an empty] parking spot at your house. Just something's missing. And it’s not fun. It's not fair,” Hatch said.

According to Hatch, White’s disappearance blindsided everyone.

“She's not the type of person that would be mixed up in a reason why you would go missing, like she's not a drug dealer, she's not a criminal, she's not any of that,” Hatch said.

“She's a girl who lives in my basement with a huge fluffy dog, who comes up and plays with my daughters, and [she’s] the nicest person I've ever met.”

Not having a good feeling about any kind of a good outcome here.Would love to be wrong. This case is resonating with me,perhaps because Kamloops is only an hour from my home. And I also have an older dog ,who is my heart.Just don't see Shannon abandoning her dog voluntarily.
