So not JUST Colin being the connection... It appears she has another Ex who is connected as well. Am I reading that correctly? I feel like there's no way he wanted his child dead. MAYBE this is revenge on him.... But maybe it has to do with her other ex. Or Sara herself?

Are we sure they aren't referring to CM in.both cases? Maybe he is SB's most recent boyfriend

That's what it sounds like to me. I think I have missed some of this as it has unfolded, but I don't remember mention of any other love interest.

NPF members use only a little physical manipulation and a lot of psychological manipulation in controlling the girls and young women they sexually exploit; in this way, NPF's tactics are both effective and comparable to those of many other sex trafficking gangs.[2] Gang members groom the girls, often by approaching them as boyfriends.[3] The PRP suggests that men in the gang often groom three or four girls at the same time without the girls finding out about each other.[3]

Poorly worded? Maybe should read: "...Taliyah's father, who is Baillie's most recent boyfriend." Or: "...Taliyah's father, Baillie's most recent boyfriend."

I see, thanks! I read "children" literally but yes, it makes sense that they meant young teens. So maybe SB herself was trying to get away? Maybe that's why CPS said they think she was the target. It's sad in any case. I'm sorry Taliyah was exposed to people like Edward Downey.

This is the first I've seen it. That's why I questioned it. The wording makes it sound like a different ex thought, but it's very unclear. It appears the CBC reporters are doing their own sleuthing at least.

When anyone I know goes through a break up they often scrub their social media clean, deleting all photos of the ex. Just a possibility. Again, all speculation until it's confirmed. But the reporter sure didn't word it well if they were referring to CP. I've always heard him referred to as the "estranged common law husband".

Although there's a gang association, it doesn't mean the crimes were gang related. There could be some kind of personal motive, or a psycho/sexual one. Gang murders rarely involve young children, they're planned to avoid that kind of "complication".
