The one in the tweet I posted. Sorry if this is a bit vague but I just recall early on someone saying something about being suspicious of a man in a pic (on SM) with a lot of money. I'm putting 2 and 2 together and assuming this is the pic they were referring to.

In the press conference, LE only confirmed that Terry Blanchette and Saretsky were acquainted. I didn't hear them speak to any possible relationship between Hailey's mother and Saretsky.

Insp. Derek Williams added that police are still conducting "a number of searches" to gather evidence in the case. When asked if the suspect knew Hailey's mother, Williams said investigators are "still exploring" all possible connections.

I think LE are investigating whether DS committed the murder of the elderly woman in Coleman and don't want to compromise that investigation.

While the thought of this child murderer also brutally killing an elderly woman is horrifying, it's well within the realms of possibility. Do you have any other reasons why you think that might be the case?

He should be given life, but that's JMO.
I doubt he'll even serve the full 25. He'll be out before then.

I'm leaning more towards the mother knowing DS through Terry.

It doesn't make sense to me that the mom would have been in a relationship with two men from the same small town nearly 500kms away from where she is living (unless she previously lived in the same town)

That was kind of a weird interview. I don't expect grieving people to act in any particular way, and I still think it's unlikely Cheyenne had anything to do with the murders, but that was a weird interview.

Thanks for posting this. OMG that poor woman. I hope someone tells her she doesn't have to answer the media's questions anymore (although I'm glad she did give us some answers). ugh. Sounds like she's got some good friends and family around her. "She was my baby."

Posing with lots of money is a "thing" on social media. A legitimate way to acquire lots of cash is if you sell or buy a vehicle in a private sale.... which young people tend to do a lot. I remember when I bought my first car in a cash sale at 19 years of age- I took a picture of myself with all of the bills. No social media back then but for young people that kind of money IS photo worthy.

Having said that, I think that DS and TB have probably both been involved in drugs at some point in their lives. I get the feeling that TB was trying to get away from that scene. I get the feeling that DS was still using. JMO
