On LCN news they interviewed an old man that witness the arrest. UF, car was in the ditch and the old man got out of his house to help UF thinking he had a flat tire, police then yelled at the man to get back in the house and he saw UF with a rifle in his hands, he then dropped the rifle and immediately the police used a taser gun.
The old man gave the interview in english on the french channel LCN and used the word "rifle" witch would mean in french fusil, more likely a hunting rifle, or else he would of said a gun (for a small handgun) in my opinion.
That is because lapresse and gazette are slower news compared to Lcn usually, stick to Lcn they are very quick on finding stuff and who to interview.

Do you know this motorcyclist? Stopped at a rest stop in Lachute near the time of Yvon Lacasse's disappearance. @CTVMontreal
Provincial police are also asking citizens between Lachute and Rouyn-Noranda, Que., located about 600 kilometres away, to be on the lookout for Lacasse. They say he could still be missing because he may be injured and moving slowly.
Police say Lacasse's Honda CR-V was taken at 6:12 p.m. on Sept. 14. and around that time surveillance video shows the motorcyclist nearby.
So Monsieur Lacasse may be alive? That's hopeful.
