Fitzpatrick again! He must get tons of OT.
Dead bodies found every week, no relation to the LISK case.
Address of her work, located 1.8 miles from where she was found:
Devon Spears Events
154 W Jericho Turnpike, South Huntington, NY ‎
(516) 805-2679
Agreed, but this one is intriguing. The body was dumped not far from the roadside, the body was apparently in an area that needed to be cleared of brush and plant life. If the girl was working in some capacity as an escort or prostitute, this has a few of the hallmarks of the LISK. Plus, if he's looking for a new dumping ground, this isn't too terribly far from his previous one, but far enough.
Could turn out to be an angry boyfriend or whatever, but this one seems intriguing.
Not even close to a single hallmark of the LISK. Comparing the nature preserve in Huntington to the areas where the bodies were found in Ocean Parkway & Manorville is like comparing Central Park to The Klondike. Apples and Oranges. The discovery of a body of a local girl in a tiny stretch of woods in a densly populated community almost immediately after she died cannot possibly be compared to the strategic dumping of bodies and body parts of girls from out of State in remote locations.

And here is the address where Sarah Strobel lived at the time of her death:

Woman Found Dead in Nature Preserve in Huntington
By Village Tattler, on October 3rd, 2013
Quote:
Sarah Strobel, 23, of 11 East 6th St., Huntington Station, has been identified as the woman whose body was found in a nature preserve in Huntington this morning.
I pasted a link to a news update (hope it works) re: Sarah Strobel dated Oct 10. Since this article I haven't heard anything further & the same holds true for the body found on Lattingtown beach sometime after storm Sandy.
What I found interesting:
Three Suffolk County detectives also attended the vigil Friday night, but would not comment on why they were present.Fitzpatrick declined to comment on the investigation on Wednesday, nearly one week after Strobel was found dead.

Was wondering about this earlier today. Thanks for the update. If I'm not mistaken, this is the second vigil for Sarah.

It's not unusual for law enforcement to attend and sometimes even organize vigils to take note of who was there and what kind of behavior they were exhibiting.
I tell you, I have a funny feeling that this could be the LISK. Just my gut. I have a nice sized gut, so when it tells me something, I listen.
