Yes, he's there for all the (found) murdered young woman. Even the Perez case, iirc. Then there are almost never any updates.

Do any of his cases get solved/closed? Maybe a new project, eh?

Dead bodies found every week, no relation to the LISK case.

That's true, but it is worth making sure there is no relation.

Agreed, but this one is intriguing. The body was dumped not far from the roadside, the body was apparently in an area that needed to be cleared of brush and plant life. If the girl was working in some capacity as an escort or prostitute, this has a few of the hallmarks of the LISK. Plus, if he's looking for a new dumping ground, this isn't too terribly far from his previous one, but far enough.

Could turn out to be an angry boyfriend or whatever, but this one seems intriguing.

Address of her work, located 1.8 miles from where she was found:

Not even close to a single hallmark of the LISK. Comparing the nature preserve in Huntington to the areas where the bodies were found in Ocean Parkway & Manorville is like comparing Central Park to The Klondike. Apples and Oranges. The discovery of a body of a local girl in a tiny stretch of woods in a densly populated community almost immediately after she died cannot possibly be compared to the strategic dumping of bodies and body parts of girls from out of State in remote locations.

I feel like you're brow beating me slightly. I stand by my statement. This one peaks my curiosity, that's all. But more info is needed before we get into one of those nasty arguments that people get into when they know they're on a message board and anonymous and will never meet face to face.

All these cases of slain or missing women in the fish bowl of Long Island are relevant and add insight in my opinion. You never know what will and won't shed light to the context of this specific investigation IMHO.

I pasted a link to a news update (hope it works) re: Sarah Strobel dated Oct 10. Since this article I haven't heard anything further & the same holds true for the body found on Lattingtown beach sometime after storm Sandy.

What I found interesting:

Three Suffolk County detectives also attended the vigil Friday night, but would not comment on why they were present.Fitzpatrick declined to comment on the investigation on Wednesday, nearly one week after Strobel was found dead.

Was wondering about this earlier today. Thanks for the update. If I'm not mistaken, this is the second vigil for Sarah.

It's not unusual for law enforcement to attend and sometimes even organize vigils to take note of who was there and what kind of behavior they were exhibiting.

I tell you, I have a funny feeling that this could be the LISK. Just my gut. I have a nice sized gut, so when it tells me something, I listen.

Thanks for the Channel 12NEWS link but doesn't work for those who are not subscribe so whatever news article you offer for reading can't be read. I think the paywalls do a disservice. News should be FREE to the public!

Every time I see something like that I can't help thinking there's no proof that lisk used the victims ads to meet up with them. In fact, I think if he did, he'd of been caught by now. I believe he found his victims in a much more random manor. Just a strong opinion of mine.

With the way MBB went missing I'd have to agree with you. I think when and where he got them was more random then him calling the girls and being like "hey come with me and I'll give you alot of money to leave your phone behind.

But I do think he found the girls all of cl or bp. I think it would be easy to call at least MBB, MB, and MW and figure out where they worked and then stalked them. I've always kinda felt this guy was waiting for them to be on their way home to strike. Except for maybe Amber cause she didn't work out of a hotel. So maybe that's why he was more pushy with her if that was even him.
And I really do think its possible MW really was walking to the store and that was his chance.
It would make more sense to me if he stalked these woman for a while.
