Omg that is insane.. it COULD be a Deer.. horse.. Goat ..Cow or it could be PAN!!!! haha omg I would of totally called and reported it..I cant believe nobody has noticed it!! No Joke!!..

But that seriously makes me wonder if the same person Dumping the (Unidentified Animal with Hoof) on the side of the road in bags is the same at the person dumping bodies.. That place is sooo but sooo big and there is soo much land that there is nothing but trees and woods that goes on and one for miles and one long road here and there.. I could only imagine how many dead people are probably in there if people really started to look. I think about that every time I see a car parked on the side of the highway next to the woods.

That is so disrespectful to dump unusable parts of game on the side of the road in a plastic bag. Good god is he or she new? Could be something to look at. Any good hunter would not do that but a twisted one might.

I agree.. who knows what else lies in those woods. I couldnt believe how much garbage is just dumped all over on such a beautiful rd. It has a nice country/upstate feel to it. Riverhead town needs to get working on cleaning that rd up cause its a mess and imo, a search team needs to search that area the same way they searched ocean parkway.

Or was it because some of the remains were found in Nassau County Jurisdiction (mommy Doe and Fire Island) and some were found in Suffolk? I think Nassau maybe was keeping some info from Suffolk - maybe for good reason at the time as Suffolk was not cooperating very much with the FBI. Also, DNA takes a while to process. It may have been sitting there all this time waiting for its turn to finally be tested and submitted to the system and eventually compared to the remains from 1997/2011.

Daisy, DNA matched up the body parts from different locations right away. The reason why the toddlers mother was not put into the system is because it was ALREADY there. That was Peaches. The ME said the Dectives would not sign off on jane doe because there was something about her profile they did not want out there. We now know what that is.

Where is this info? About the ME saying the detectives didn't want to sign off on the Jane Doe? What do you mean by "Sign Off"?

The DNA was not put into the NAMUS system because it was already where?

When exactly did they take Peaches DNA that was "already there" and matched up "right away"?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this one but since I read about it, it has bothered me because I have never heard anything more about it. and there is no information about this skull anywhere that I can find.


RONKONKOMA, NY – A man riding his bike in the woods off the Long Island Expressway Saturday afternoon found a human skull, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, the man riding on his mountain bike north of Express Drive North when he found the skull and called police at about 12:15 p.m.
Police did not specify where exactly the skull was found, but the westbound LIE service road was shut at Terry Road during the afternoon.

Police believe the remains had been there for an extended period, police said. A positive identification has not been made.
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.

Daisy, All the remains on the Pkwy were entered into NAMUS. They each had their own NAMUS page. Except jane doe #3. The toddlers mother. Fieldnotes called the ME to ask why. The ME said she was waiting to get permission from LE to do so.She never got it. WHY? It turns out doing so would have required updating Peaches profile in NAMUS. Peaches and jane doe #3 are one in the same person. LE did not want the public to know this. Not until recently.

Yes, thanks PS here's a link with a little more http://www.rockawave.com/news/2007-11-30/front_page/001.html It does say that "officers and detectives from the 100 precinct responded to an anonymous tip that there was a body in a plastic bag on Beach 63 Street near the boardwalk."

I agree that this case is very important and related. I would really like to know if where exactly these arms and legs were found was ever released: "Arms and legs belonging to the same victim were later found in a plastic bag miles away in Suffolk County."

Very good question... I do not know the answer to it but I have been contacting NamUs about other unidentified remains from the area that not in their system. Here's some updates on those:

• Cherries was added into NamUs within days of me emailing -they were well aware of the case. It was probably just the right timing when I emailed.
• Muttontown Jane Doe 2001 -they are well aware of the case and have been trying to get it added but are waiting on authorization (from who? ME? IMO this is odd) http://billyjensen.com/wp-content/themes/billjensen/pdfs/crime_stories/gold_coast_mystery.pdf

There are other cases from SC that were found after this skull from August 2016 (example https://www.identifyus.org/en/cases/16280) so it does seems odd that there hasn't been any followup with this case.
