Casey Anthony's defense wants prosecutors removed

I don't guess I've EVER heard of this being done. Has it ever been done? I mean has the defense on any case ever been able to have the prosecution removed? I swear, I just sit here and shake my head, searching for words to accurately describe how freakin' insane this entire case is. There are none.

Nancy commented on this last night....she said that she had motions to have her booted before. One time it was "because she had too much evidence." But all lawyers on the panel agreed that this will not fly.

Ha ha. He filed this motion, because he thinks if he can get the prosecution dismissed they won't be replaced with new people. That way, he can bring his case before a jury with no one to argue the state's side, and that gives him about a 2% chance of winning this case. Now, if he can only get that pesky judge dismissed, too.

Or, since Casey has been hitting the law books, maybe she wrote this motion, and insisted, as the client, it be filed with the court.

:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:

I enjoy started off my day with a good belly laugh!
Thanks, Defense Dream Team!

Can he ask for the Judge to be removed because of his treatment?
I think he can. Surely he must have realised by now that everyone is laughing their socks off at him, so he probably won't. But, with JB, you never can tell.

These kinds of games go on in every trial, this isn't unusual. Eventually, the judge gets sick of it and lectures both sides to knock it off.

Yesterday it was remove the prosecution, today the judge, tomorrow the court house drapes clash with KC's jaihouse attire.

The clients, attorneys, and PI's all need to be put into a padded room, before they hurt themselves.

I wonder if Baez could get in trouble for slander? He is accusing someone from the SA office of anonymously fueling the investigation. If he has no proof of this and is making public accusations, could the SA come after Baez? I find this to be very childish and unethical behavior for an attorney.

Baez believes the Florida bar has been investigating him for ethics violations and suspects that someone from Lamar's office may anonymously be fueling the investigation by sending paperwork to the bar, perhaps in an attempt to discredit Baez, Local 6 News reported. http://www.clickorlando.com/news/18582240/detail.html

Technically, NG said that the opposing counsel claimed she knew her facts too well. Sounds like this is all part of the games that lawyers play.

From now on, the defense is going to be tossing motion after motion into the mix about everything including the kitchen sink if possible.

This is crazy.. Reading this motion was like listening to my 10 yr old tell me why he hit my 6 yr old.

Give me a break. Motion denied. Go stand in the corner till you can play well with others.

This attorney in my view is imcompetent to represent a person with such severe charges against them. I believe that is so evident with the mistakes he's made over the past weeks. IF.....and I say IF.......he remains KC's attorney and continues to make blunders such as he has been...........isn't that going to give KC room for an assured retrial claiming she had inferior representation on her case?

Bolded by me.

EXACTLY!!! I was getting a familiar twitch when I was reading that, and you hit the nail on the head. It sounds just like my kids when they were little. LOL!

Baez isn't incompetent. If you remember, the prosecution was trying to have him removed, Baez is merely returning the favour. I don't see many blunders on his part.

Isn't that silly? As though anybody thinks Baez is any kind of a threat as a defence lawyer :)

Yup I agree Bev.

This is a game I believe, more smoke and mirrors. I see that JB will be very busy distracting in the months to come. Filing motions against the prosecutors, filing motions to keep his client out of court, possibly even trying to cast a shadow of doubt on the judge to rule in this case. Coupled with the rumor and innuendo that is already flying. LA is going to be charged (his lawyer speaking), the A's lawyer stating that he is already working to have a funeral/memorial (don't know which actually) in the jailhouse. OSCO has denied that they've recieved any such request.

I wonder if the A's lawyer and LA's lawyer are working in conjunction with JB to defend KC? You know trying to assist in creating a better image of KC, cast an aura of KC not being treated fairly? Just a thought.

Something like this...

"Why did you hit him?"

"He hit me back first!"

In my opinion, he is incompetent. He's made several blunders and those are only the ones I know about. I am not even addressing the issue of the motion to have the prosecution team removed. I am not concerned because it's probably not going to go anywhere anyway. If you do not agree, that's fine. I will not argue that issue.

My question was since he's made a fair share of blunders, is it enough grounds for KC to claim unfair or incompetent representation and be granted a retrial on those grounds? It's not like she wouldn't do that. She would.

As my 12 yr old would tell them "oh give me a whine burger and some french cries."

I can't wait to watch the Judge rule on this motion.

FINALLY, you guys are making me laugh again....or at least smile.....thanks! .......at least JB is affording us an opportunity for a bit of levity!!! (I hope he doesn't get the last one ..laugh, that is )
