#1 she doesnt get emotional; nor does her voice crack
#2 clearly she is Throwing her mother Cindy under the bus! Deverting attention about HER relationship with Caylee to present to LE that Caylee supposedly becomes upset when she speaks to Cindy???

I cannot wait for a Jury to hear this tape!!! Well wonder what JB reaction is to this tape being released?? LMAO, I can hear him spinning now.

That video was taken in a warrant. They seized the camera. To me, they simply forgot the pictures. How in the heck do you forget bringing your grandchild to a father's day party?

The 2nd interview, they are at Universal, they have established she lied about working there. do they ever ask her if she realy has a job. then at the end of the interview, they are asking her, so...you drop the baby off usually, so you can go to work...she answers, yes, that she dropped her off o go to work. knowing full well she has already been busted not having a job? they never asked her where she really worked.....anyone get this?

I know, you can actually HEAR her making several attempts at being coy or even somewhat flirtatious/seductive in her tone/manner of speaking...The entire thing was sickening, and I KNOW if my baby was missing I would be sobbing, even 31 days later and there is no way that I could hold my composure like that for the sheer PAIN that would be coursing through my very soul...

She did not care for Caylee. She did not feel one thing for her.

Here is a thought. What if the big fight was actually the weekend of the 9th, and Casey took Caylee THAT week and left, but brought her back that ONE TIME to go with her mom to visit the grandparents and to visit her OWN dad as a Father's Day gift to them, and then she took her back with her either the 15th or the 16th never to be seen again?

That's what I'm thinking--she came back with Caylee on Father's Day, Cindy demanded to keep Caylee, and that's what the big argument overheard by neighbors was about. There are pics of Caylee with Casey at Fusion where she looks exahsted--Casey was unable to care for her on her own and keep up her lifestyle. I think there was a huge power struggle going on between Casey & Cindy, and that spelled doom for little Caylee.

I think what she was actually doing was throwing her OWN self under the bus. What she was saying, or at least the way that I take it, is if it was her mom (Cindy) on the phone, then Caylee WOULD have cried FOR her, because that was her primary caregiver, and she would ALWAYS cry for Grammy but NEVER for her (Casey)...to me she just admitted that Caylee loves Cindy more than she loves Casey...

Seems to me, at first they rarely gave her a chance to respond other than "Uh-Huh", but I believe they have there strategy on how to question someone. They do need to show her that they are in charge of the conversation. I have a lot of respect for detectives!

One thing that sort of got on my nerves was the constant expression by the detectives "Okay" interjected into their sentences. I think it was the sergeant that said it the most. But that may be something they do on purpose so that the POI is put at ease.

I just wonder how the silent treatment would have worked on her? Probably wouldn't work any better. I think they did a good job, though. Just a lot of "Okays" by them and a lot of "Uh-Huhs" by her.

I think this was the first time that Casey actually had her lies "put on the table", and she didn't know how to handle that. Must have been a wake-up call for her!!

Le confirmed at the assisted living place that Cindy and Caylee were there. The brother of Cindy, Rick, also confirmed in pictures that he was present with Cindy and Caylee on that particular date.

I just got home and started listening to the tapes...this is a prosecutors dream evidence. Juries are going to eat this up and Casey is going to seem like a MONSTER no matter what their defense is.

"Even assume Casey's blatent lies are true... If your baby was missing for 31 days, would you calmly recollect your co-workers names? Would you go to bars "looking" for a nanny? Or would you be hysterical, BEGGING LE to help you? Would you have called everyone you knew asking for help? ... If your DOG went missing, wouldn't you call everyone in the neighborhood to help you look for her?"

What juror is not going to hate her?

ie CA was the last person to see Caylee, and Casey told Lee and his girlfriend what happened to Caylee.

Correct me if Im wrong, but Ive seen other posters on here say that instead of "Happy Fathers day" written on the card in the pic (or video) from Fathers day, it actually says "Happy Birthday" but her Grandfathers birthday is in October........did we ever clear this fact up?

I was not aware of that.

Either way, it seems pretty certain that Caylee was there with Cindy on Father's day and Rick, the brother attested to it.

Casey is smart with or without a high school diploma. There are people with high degrees that are not the smartest link in the chain.

Having a high school diploma doesn't determine anything except you graduated from high school.

Some students graduate with a 4.0 and other students have a 1.0 and get the same high school diploma like the students with a 4.0.

Why didn't they ask her why she was lying? I don't think they interviewed her correctly (so far) I am just listening now but its like they are talking too much and not getting her to talk. They butt in when she is talking. hmmmmmmm

I have been at work all day and am just catching up, but I agree with this completely. They should have just let her talk and asked some open ended questions and let her sit there until she gave an answer.

These cops know what they are doing, but it was kind of frustrating that they kept cutting her off.

If wonder if there are more interview tapes. Casey said she spent 24 hours with them.

My Lord, this thread is over 1000 posts. I gotta throw in my quick impressions. Just finished the tapes.

I read the document as I listened to the audio to make it more real. Fascinating!

I think she sounds just like Cindy, which is her right as a daughter. They both draw a word out when they are thinking of how they want to word something ' Just Right '.

Notable Caseyisms.

"I have perspective ideas" (huh?)
"I've been running in circles Literally" Ummm, around the pole at Fusion?
"I'm sorry I've given you the runaround" No ! Like you send someone to the store for cat food when you had already picked it up yourself.

I loved how she had carefully thought out the phone situation and expertly told the detective all this cr*p she thought she knew about phone records.

'my phone only stores 20 messages' to possible try to dissuade him from troubling himself into looking at any phone records. He came right back that the record would be with her carrier. ha. ha.

And finally, the lie that she is a runner. That her mom didn't want her to run in that park anymore because a girl was murdered there, and where she might run, gag me with a spoon. Oh excuse me, she does run, to every guy that'll have her.
