Think about this..

Why didn't the Anthony's call 911 directly from the Tow Yard?

Any normal person would have been on the phone with LE the minute they a
rrived at the Towyard

snipped

If I may go waaaay out in left field for a moment...

perhaps this is an attempt to rationalize what we can see clearly, but they can't.

Kind of like, "your husband drinks and beats the heck out of you. Why don't you leave him??"

This is all 100% speculation but what if George & Cindy knew that Caylee was dead before July 15th?

"Maybe" .....George found the body in the trunk on the 24th & Casey told him that it was an accident.

Considering the Anthony's unwavering support of Casey is it such a stretch to assume that Casey begged & pleaded with them to give her some time to "Come up with a Plan or story" or "move away to California" because if they called LE she would spend her life in prison.

But then on July 15th the Anthony's receive a letter from the Tow yard.

Casey messed up....She was supposed to get rid of the car, clean it or whatever...who knows what the plan was...

They panic. They are afraid that the Tow Yard manager is going to call 911 & then they're going to be implicated as well.

Cindy looks for Casey & tells her that she's calling LE.....Come up with a story....NOW.

I'm not saying any of this happened but nothing the Anthony's have done makes any sense & I'm just trying to look at other possible scenarios

A lot of things have bothered me about this case & still do....

Who gave Casey a ride from her home to Amscott on the morning of June 27th ?

Why didn't George smell the decomp on June 24th ? He was right next to the open trunk.

Why did George file a Police Report on June 24th ? He knew it was Casey who stole the cans.

Why did the Anthony's search the back yard for Caylee?

Why was George spreading Lime in his yard & replacing pavers?

Why did Cindy wash the Pants? Did they clean out the trunk too?

Why didn't they call 911 from the Tow Yard?

Did George really see Caylee on June 16th?

Why did all the Anthony's say June 9th instead of June 16th?

Why didn't the Anthony's ever ask the "Kidnapper" to return Caylee?

Like I said...I'm not saying any of this happened but the "Story" that the Anthony's have been feeding us is simply not true.....

It can't be...In my mind it's impossible

Think about this..

Why didn't the Anthony's call 911 directly from the Tow Yard?

The car smells of death & Casey's purse is sitting in it..?

You know what's really ironic about this? In the 8/4/08 interview that OCSO conducted with CA, they have her move over by Eric Edwards so she can look at the calendar. Her purse is sitting in the floor and Yuri picks it up and puts it on the table and says something to the effect "I'm going to put this up here because I don't want you to walk out without it." CA says, "Oh, I would never walk out without my purse. Women don't leave their purse in cars or other places." Yuri responds, "hmmm, sometimes it happens." And CA (still unable to not get the last word) says, "mmmm, not usually."

lol - I've come to believe they don't have any idea how many times they have stuck their collective foot in their collective mouth.

I agree - nothing any member of this family does, would surprize me. I would love to go back and see how your theory fits with the facts that we already know.

As you said - it's probably very doubtful, but as a scenario it would explain a lot! After all, I do remember Cindy saying that although Casey lies, they have always able to get to the bottom of her lies

But the question is, can they get to bottom Cindy's? I'm not sure there is a bottom on that pit.

I'm not convinced that Cindy wanted to call 911

I think once they picked the car up it "Forced Their Hand"

Maybe Cindy & George were worried that the Tow Yard Manager would call 911 & report the smell & then the Anthony's would have to explain why they never called 911..?

Maybe they had no intentions of calling 911 until after Casey Reported the car Stolen or Claimed a Car Jacking with Caylee in the car but when the Car was towed & the manager smelled the decomp it forced their hand.

Remember Casey said..."Just give me one more day"
One more day for what......To come up with Plan B..?

Cindy replied.."I've given you a month already"
A month for what....To come up with a "Fake kidnapping story?

I can't tie any of this together but I think the Police Report filed on the 24th was originally supposed to be part of a cover up too.

It had been a month since the fight. What they were most likely fighting about, was the money KC took from CA and Granny. The police should have been called then. Florida has 'elderly abuse laws'.

I seem to remember this being discussed before on WS and at the time I think some people thought KC was saying, "I'll never get to talk to him." That's what I'm hearing now. Spec was she trying to 'reach-out' to TL but Mom was making her talk to the police.

I haven't listened to the 911 tapes in awhile but I thought KC said something like "I don't have anything to say to them."

Wow Val- I remember picking up on this little exchange too. I was thinking, "wow, that woman will argue any point won't she." I didn't realize the significance until your post though. My gosh will the twists and turns in this case never end?
Can you imaging what the evidence room for this case looks like?

Why wasn't there any panic? Where are Caylee & Casey? Why is the Car here?

There is absolutley no reasonable explanation in the world for George to get in that Car & drive it back to the Anthony home...

The Car "Reeked of Death" -

George said to himself.."Please don't let my granddaughter be in the trunk"

I don't think the 911 call was part of any plan...Thats not what I'm saying

What I am saying is that I think it's awfully strange that Cindy had to "Find Casey" first before calling 911.

Why did she need to talk to Casey first?

To come up with a Plan...?

It's all BS & the Anthony's are in it up to their eyeballs....!!

Any normal person would have been on the phone with LE the minute they arrived at the Towyard
This post is one of the most logical ones I have read! Yes ~ the first thing most people would do when a car smells like a dead body has been in it and there are several personal items belonging to your daughter & granddaughter left in it ~ is call 911 and do not drive the car home or anywhere! However, what I believe happened here is CA knew Casey was ok, having trailed her on myspace and cell phone calls, so that reinforces my opinion that during the heated argument of 6/15, Casey might have told her mother something like "you'll never see her again". CA had to find Casey before getting LE involved and probably thought when she finally called them that Casey might tell her just where Caylee was, but she didn't. MOO

Interesting ~ and something I hadn't even thought of in all these months as to why CA called 911. I always thought it was because they were upset with having to bail out the car from the tow yard and they didn't have any idea what had happened to Caylee. But, with what they've said & done since then, it's very possible this is exactly what happened. I think they did have a good idea what happened when the car was recovered, but GA essentially "blew it" when he made the comments at the tow yard and looked inside the trunk. From that moment on it was all about covering it up. MOO

HI guys make sue you put more in depth theories about what happened to Caylee on the theory thread.

This is what I have never understood either. The only explanation, IMO, is that they knew or suspected what had happened and were wanting to check Casey's story before calling LE. Even when Cindy went back to work her supervisor and co-worker's told her that she should call the police, and she said that she wanted to try and get in touch w/ Casey first. They both were in professions where they knew what the "right" thing to do was, call LE. That first 911 call should have been made at the tow lot, IMO.

That's another thing that seemed so odd ~ she went back to work and her coworkers had to tell her to call LE. Apparently there wasn't anything too alarming to her about the smell in the car? Or was she trying to block it out of her mind, like the Fathers' day fight? :waitasec: MOO

Other than the title of this thread, I have not read through it yet.

Just one comment thus far though. I hope Cindy at least said 'you're welcome' when KC thanked her.

And 911 calls 1 and 2 are very similar, except for some reason CA sounds slightly more urgent and upset on the second one. Perhaps because of the very short conversation she had with KC while dialing the phone.

Without going back to listen again.... can someone tell me why we're hearing CA's conversation with KC between 911 calls? Where is it being recorded??

http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Sidebar/2008/7/25/transcript_of_third_911_call_from_cindy_anthony.html

OPD: Well, what I'm going to do, is I'm going to transfer you to the Sheriff's Comunications section, and you can, um, determine that. Hold on.
Cindy: OK.
The officer transfers the call.
Cindy:(speaking to Casey Anthony) Because my next thing will be down to child (inaudible) and we'll have a court order to get her. If that's what you want to play, then we'll do it, and you'll never
Casey Anthony: Well, that's not the way I want to (inaudible)
Cindy: Well, then you have --
Casey: Give me one more day.
Cindy: No, I'm not giving you another day. I've given you a month.

After this, she called 911 twice more ... if KC was so "thankful" to Cindy after this call (which it doesn't sound like she was at all thankful and this was near the end of the call) ... why didn't she take her "happy A$$" down to the station herself!

The above transcript is from the original 911 call ... when she actually talks to Orlando Police and at the end they put her on hold to transfer her to OCSO ... It was while they were transferring the call that the conversation took place ... that is why it is not on the 911 calls released by OCSO ... because she was still on OPD's system. Hope that helps!

Gosh Cindy, Casey WAS thanking you for the 31 days that you gave her to dance, to drink, to do Tony, to watch creepy movies and who knows what else, oh, and to spend Amy's money before you turned her in. Casey was NOT thanking you for calling 911 you silly girl you - geesh!

Aha, got it. CA was transferred to the proper authorities. She didn't hang up the phone and dial. Oh by the way one hooah wife, the inaudible part... CA is saying "because my next thing will be down to child "thing" and we'll have a court order to get her."

("thing" is one of CA's favorite words)
