Casey thanked Cindy for calling 911 after first call

That was the first time I had heard of Casey Anthony. I thought to myself "What is SHE prancing for"? When they said she was arrested for murdering her daughter, I thought to myself that she had that "Mission Accomplished" look on her face. That was my first gut reaction to her. She was satisfied with herself and didn't take anyone else seriously. Wonder if she takes things a bit more seriously now? If I had never heard anything else about her, the most telling thing to me was a comment during her parents' jail visit. Her mom was crying and could hardly talk. She said to her dad "What's SHE crying about already?" To me, that summed up what kind of person she is. COLD.

Oh yeah, laughing at her mother crying? Disgusting.

I found this youtube link a few days ago and thought this may be the appropriate thread to put this on.

KC does say something in the background but she says it so fast it is hard to really understand. I know she said something on those tapes.

I hope that LE isolated her voice to see what she really said.

Any thoughts out there?

Sounds like--->I don't have anythang to talk to them about.

Yes, just like she thanked her from her first phone call from jail stating that she was in jail on a "f(*^king whim". I could tell from KC's statement there she was real thankful her mom had called 911

THis case doesn't need physical evidence or eyewitnesses - it can be won by showing the jury every single interview, media statement, email, web post, phone call, jail visit etc.

KC first phone call from jail didn't sound to grateful either. Cindy A contradicts herself today with what she is heard telling KC over the phone in KC first phone call from jail:

CA: "No, I don't know what your involvement is, sweetheart, you are not telling me where she's at."

KC: "Because I don't fv*k!ng know where she's at! You are kidding me?
"

CA: "Casey, don't waste your call screaming and hollering at me."

KC: "Waste my call sitting in, oh, the jail?"

CA: "Whose fault is it you're sitting in jail? Are you blaming me you are sitting in the jail? Blame yourself for telling lies. What do you mean it is not your fault? What do you mean it's not your fault, sweetheart? If you would have told them the truth and not lied about everything…"

KC: "Do me a favor and just tell me what Tony's number is, I don't want to talk to you. Forget it."

Just keep giving CA enough rope..

Sometimes I feel that she didn't know where Caylee's body was. That just always gives me chills---has been on the lil shelf---hink-moment. I do think she killed her and she put her in the trunk. But haven't been convinced KC knew where she ended up.

No that was just a lie. IMHO

I'm not quite sure I understand this, all the Anthony's were in danger if Casey called police, but not if Cindy called? It must be true because Casey thanked her for doing it.

"When I saw Casey (in July), I could tell something was wrong," said Cindy Anthony. "I don't know how I would react any differently. After I made the first 911 call, Casey thanked me in the car because she said I did something that she couldn't do, which was go to the police."

Whoa! This is big!! Up until now, the story all along has been that Casey did not admit to anything being wrong until they were back at the house and she was talking to Lee.

If the above statement is true, why would Casey be telling Cindy at that point that she needed to go to the police (but couldn't)?

What do you all think?

Whatever.

This is just another lie that is easily disproved. IIRC on the audio for the first 911 phone call made from the car there is a break in the conversation between Cindy and the 911 operator. You can hear Cindy say to Casey in a threatening tone - "The next thing I'll do is go to the court and get custody, if that is the way you want to play it." (Can't remember the exact quote but this is pretty close.) Casey responds with a peevish, "No that's NOT how I want to play it."

That's not a thank you in my book.

I'm not quite sure I understand this, all the Anthony's were in danger if Casey called police, but not if Cindy called? It must be true because Casey thanked her for doing it.

And during that whole month when she was "scared for all the family's lives" - did she warn them? No, she went out partying and had to be dragged home.
How gullible does CA think the public are- does she think we are as stupid as her? This is the Mother who didn't know her only daughter was 7 months pregnant when everyone else did.

If this were true (big IF)----there would have been hysteria sooner in ca when she called...it wasn't until the third call that she made Caylee the priority......that was after the "talk" with la when he got the "story" out of kc.....I think bs....

Sure it is. Must have happened about the same time Cindy was writing her suicide letters.

You can't claim on the one hand that your daughter was terrified that kidnappers were going to kill the entire family and on the other hand that she thanked you for calling the police.

And we've seen Casey's extreme gratitude toward her mother in every jailhouse call and meeting, haven't we?

I'm not convinced that Cindy wanted to call 911

I think once they picked the car up it "Forced Their Hand"

Maybe Cindy & George were worried that the Tow Yard Manager would call 911 & report the smell & then the Anthony's would have to explain why they never called 911..?

Maybe they had no intentions of calling 911 until after Casey Reported the car Stolen or Claimed a Car Jacking with Caylee in the car but when the Car was towed & the manager smelled the decomp it forced their hand.

Remember Casey said..."Just give me one more day"
One more day for what......To come up with Plan B..?

Cindy replied.."I've given you a month already"
A month for what....To come up with a "Fake kidnapping story?

I can't tie any of this together but I think the Police Report filed on the 24th was originally supposed to be part of a cover up too.

(Bolding by me)

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. IMO the 911 calls were genuine. But, the reason I don't think they were due to CA's hand being forced and part of a cover up is this. They don't make sense as very good cover ups.

I mean, if they were trying to cover up something, I think they'd have come up with a better call to 911 than those as cover ups. JMO. :)

You really think this bunch is capable of coming up with anything better? Because we sure haven't seen it with any of their other lies.

I've been very suspicious of Cindy ever since the first time I saw her on TV. She didn't act like a grieving or even panic stricken grandmother. She was, as she has been since, angry and confrontational, not to mention whining and self absorbed.

The three 911 calls make no sense at all. She knew when she made the first one that Caylee was missing and had been for a month. Even her coworkers had urged her to call police earlier. And I don't think she sounds distraught during the calls - she sounds peeved and then angry that LE didn't respond right away.

What if Cindy (and perhaps Lee and George) knew long before that Caylee was dead and then waited long enough before calling LE to make it near impossible for police to find the body or to find evidence if they did? I just don't think this is outside the realm of possibility. But then maybe I'm giving her to much credit for being clever.

I just can't make her demeanor and behavior from when this story all first broke make any sense without suspecting some kind of cover up.

I think CA is lying. A voice-enhanced tape had KC saying, "You can't make me talk to them," while CA was talking to the cops.

Then, we also have KC begging to be given "just one more day" before CA called the cops.

The story about KC thanking CA is just as true as CA's statement that she and KC did not have that fight. NOT!

Don't believe anything these people say. None of it is true.

Believe it or not, I think Cindy is being truthful on this one. I'm guessing it went a bit like this...

Cindy: I just called the police. What do you have to say about that?
KC: Thanks a *advertiser censored**ing lot mom.

hahahaha. My first laugh in over a week. Thank you.

I do believe it probably did go down exactly that way.

HOLD THE PHONE ..

This is HUGE or is it?
The first phone call was made in the car and Cindy was still under the impression that Caylee was with the sitter ..

I wonder if LE is looking into it OR is this just another round of Cindy Spew? :waitasec:

I think Cindy meant that she'd already heard Casey's excuses for why she couldn't see Caylee and wasn't going to wait any longer ..

Haven't read the whole thread yet, but Cindy's claim rings false to me. Are we to believe that Cindy called 9-1-1 and then Casey said. "Thanks mom, I should have called 9-1-1 before?" Wouldn't Cindy have known at that point that there was something wrong? Why should KC have called 9-1-1 if Caylee was with the sitter? Lee said he arrived before KC and Cindy and that they seemed to have been arguing when they got out of the car. KC still told the babysitter story when she talked to Lee, at least according to Lee. Why would KC express pleasure that Cindy called 9-1-1 if she were still maintaining the babysitter ruse? Wouldn't Cindy have hopped out of the car and told Lee that Casey said she should have called 9-1-1? Wouldn't KC saying that, if she did, have been one of those HUGE red flags? Wouldn't Cindy or Lee have acted differently if KC had actually said that?

I mean what a crock. You tell dear ole mom about Caylee and she calls the cops. Then you tell the family what 2 months later everyone's life is in danger. I think that would have been one of the first things I told them. Instead they are all out walking around, on TV screaming find Zanny, and this would not put anyone in danger.

Please spare us the stupid made up crap.

She also said, "You can't make me talk to them."

I seem to remember this being discussed before on WS and at the time I think some people thought KC was saying, "I'll never get to talk to him." That's what I'm hearing now. Spec was she trying to 'reach-out' to TL but Mom was making her talk to the police.
