After the hearing last week when Jose emerged in a worse position than when he walked in, Cheney likely told him you did it wrong, why didn't you ask for the lists to be sealed, etc., etc.

So in an effort to show little buddy how it is done, Skippper filed this motion asking for it. Note he refers to himself as her attorney, and he alone signed it.
They normally say one of the attorneys for Casey Anthony and normally two of the lawyers sign off on their legal documents.
He is flexing his muscles. The trouble with that is he is going to get shot down too. Oh my.

Clearly they are having power struggles. Clearly. I give it ninety days, tops before Cheney bails.

Seems many motions were done incorrectly...Only Cheney can no longer bail, he's in it for the long haul....thanks to the amended law already on the books in Florida...

Maybe it's a good thing JB and CM are at odds with each other...JMHO

Cheney can bail. he came into the case pro bono. He has not taken any money from KC, and as a result can leave if he presents the judge with a valid reason. (My money is on "personal health reasons" should he choose to pull that trigger).

JB is the only one stuck in this manner. He was hired and received (substantial!) payment from KC before she was declared indigent.

Perry, who is the case's second judge, denied a series of defense motions concentrating largely on constitutional arguments against the use of the death penalty.

The motions are among the final contributions to Anthony's defense team from death penalty expert and law professor Andrea Lyon. She withdrew from the case in late June, citing financial reasons.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony has failed to pay court costs ordered by a judge, according to the Orange County Clerk of Courts.

On Saturday, the clerk turned over the $381 overdue bill to a collection agency. The clerk has also sent a notice to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles requesting that Anthony's drivers license be suspended until the debt is paid.

In January, Anthony pleaded guilty to stealing checks from her former friend Amy Huizenga.

Judge Stan Strickland sentenced Anthony to 412 days in jail, which she had already served while incarcerated up on murder charges.

The judge also ordered Anthony to pay $348 in court costs, which were to be paid in full by the end of April.

According to court clerk records, Anthony never paid those costs, as well as more than $30 in late fees.

IIRC the only one concerned about her keeping her DL active was George, he knew if the DL was not renewed and was expired for a certain amount of time she would have to start all over again..that is IF she were to get out of jail. :behindbar

Amended Order Setting Discovery, Motion and Hearing Deadlines and Trial Date


1. DISCOVERY ORDER AS TO EXPERT WITNESSES
a) Depositions of expert witnesses listed by the State of Florida shall be completed no later than September 30, 2010.
b) Evidence review by any defense expert witnesses shall be completed no later than October 31, 2010.

-Caylee's body did NOT have duct tape wrapped around her head.

The SODDI actually should thank the Anthony's.
1. They did not even ask the public to find the REAL killer.
2. The Anthony's are actually saying that the real killer is NOT cold blooded and evil. There is no way this kidnapper, whoever they are, could have placed duct tape around the babys head.

IMO- the anthony's have done nothing in their interview but proclaim Casey as guilty with their actions. Wouldn't a "normal" family see the horrendousness of the dump site and want to see the person who did it brought to justice..... That is unless the murderer actually IS Casey?

54 minute mark...Baez informs the judge he has witnesses in the court from the media, that he has turned down interviews with. The judge dismisses the witnesses immediately , commenting that is not necessary.

"It is dejavu ....all over again" Kassen says. Oh my, that is going to last me well into the weekend. If you didn't know this was an actual hearing , it could easily be taken as a Saturday Night Like skit.

I wonder if Kassen was paid out of the 200K.

This was in 2008! Mr. Baez was scolded two years ago for not noticing the proper parties, when is he ever going to get serious? What is even more spectacular , is that Cheney will his over thirty years of experience would sign his name to documents that are not properly noticing all parties.

I am so disappointed in Cheney. I thought with all of his years of experience in Florida we would finally have a defense lawyer who could look up precedent and prepare a proper motion, correct on the facts and on point on the law.

Here we have again another document that has absolutely zero chance of doing anything but aggravating the court. Just as I expected, he didn't even send notice to the media. He is basically asking the judge to set aside the Florida Sunshine laws....because.. his client is notorious.

The A's and Baez have bungled this case in the media big time. They all look really bad. They blame the prosecution team, yet we have not once seen them in the media! They even blame the media, yet they seek the media to put the BS out for public consumption. Crazy.

I see Miss ICA soon to be sentenced to LWOP.. and sitting in prison totally blaming Cindy for everything.... as the cause for the murder, her guilty verdict, and everything in between.

What good can come of this?
I have been thinking about the children who will be helped by the need being mentioned in the paper. What I would like to see is the paper do a article about the children. That would make my day!!
I have admonished her publicly that the only hope of repairing a bad reputation is to steadily start doing good, humble things, then one may hope that folks will look at you in a different light, over time. They will never forget, but you do have the opportunity to turn your life around and as Americans we will cut you some slack for trying to redeem yourself.

I do not like when companies sponsor something and insist on bringing into the dinner a huge cardboard check they can be photographed with as if to say…see..we care. I don’t like that she announced this to the media.

However, any good coach will tell you, people respond to positive feedback. In that light, I would like to say, Mrs. Anthony if you are reading here today, thank you. Thank you for bringing the charity to the Orlando media. Perhaps some folks will , indeed I trust, many folks will donate their children’s old clothes and shoes because the charity was in the news. It will matter to those children that need them. Thank you and may God bless you this day.
