Charity Distances Itself From Anthonys
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Central Florida charitable group said it fears its organization will be hurt because of a donation made by Casey Anthony's mother.
On Tuesday, Cindy Anthony sent an e-mail to Local 6, announcing that she would be donating some of her granddaughter's belongings to the Children of Love Foundation.
"I will be attending this event on Saturday, donating some of Caylee's shoes. I think that this project is worth mentioning," Cindy Anthony wrote.
The organization's founder, Doris Patalano, said she was unaware of Anthony's donation until she began receiving harassing phone calls from protesters Wednesday morning.

You just can't make this stuff up!
Perhaps the new lawyers will be able to implore upon mom and pop it is best to do things quietly rather than announce to the media. I thought when dope dealer Ron Cummings asked them to leave they would have the dots pretty close together for them to connect, no one believes Grandparents covering up for and lying for someone who is charged with murder one for killing a toddler is not welcome , or helpful to have in any connection with children, whether they be missing or underprivileged, or ill. They should donate privately, or better still, anonymously.
Indeed to make a public show of it is wholly offensive, indeed.
I call on the news outlets to make a story about the charity itself, about the children in need and the good good work of the volunteers. Focus. Focus. Focus.
If I lived there I would go over with my own camera, pen and pad and make a I report video to submit. This is just sad, tired and pitiful!

"You can pretty well predict there's going to be a life sentence, either a plea and get it over with or have a circus trial and then be convicted and get life," Defense lead attorney, Cheney Mason said.
