Well, based on Cindy's reaction this morning, I think the end is pretty near. Hopefully, we will have some answers in the hours to come. I pray that there is a good outcome for Caylee but I doubt that is going to be the case. Anyway, I wish they would throw Cindy right beside Casey in the slammer because she has done nothing from day #1 but obstruct justice in this case just as Casey has done. JMHO.

I have no idea why they are collecting evidence now. I am just very happy to see [something/] happening! Prior to this it just looked like a stand-still, imo. I just want Caylee found and before it seemed the police were ticked that Casey wasn't helping so they sat down on their behinds and did nothing. I don't care who is lying, who is acting this way or that way...just look for Caylee already!!!

The search for Caylee. That has got to be the highest priority for everyone (well maybe not for the person at fault) right now. I know we discussed that if they don't find her there is very little chance for the death penalty - and looking at the amount of elapsed time now - if they do find her - determining cause of death will be impossible - hence no death penalty. Regardless of the legal standpoint of finding this angel - my personal emotions is that this poor innocent angel needs ( no DEMANDS) that she be laid to rest properly. God - I hope they find her. It will be so hard to "keep on keeping on" without ever knowing where this poor child is.

someone metioned calls that have not been released but i cant find the post now;

i keep thinking back to the fact that she did get tony's number during that first call they released but we still dont know if they spoke. im sure she called but we dont know if he took the call.

could be one of two things;

it isnt being released because he is not believed to be involved and it is not pertinent (although they released the video of the visit with that bourgeios dude that isnt believed to be involved).

or, it isnt being released because the police filed for it not to be. which would imply it is of interest in the case.

anything im missing here?

I actually think it is inreference to the visits between Casey and parents and Casey and Lee, the videos and sound of them. They were going to be relaeased by LE and then Det. Melich pulled them for review, I have not seen any more mention of them since..

They call it "come to jesus" because some people like to tell others "If you don't come to jesus your life will have a bad outcome"

That benefit that's today is supposed to be held from 4pm till midnight. It will be very telling to me if the grandparents are there or not.

I think she is stuck in an impossible situation. Her role in being on TV is to convince people to look for Caylee. To do that she needs to convince people that Casey's stories make sense and Caylee is alive regardless of any doubts she has. They (gma, gpa, lee) have been told so many conflicting things from Casey (often refuted by others) about what happened, where she was, etc. that it is impossible for her not to sound like she's contradicting herself.

Of course she's going to blame the media, try to get sound bites, focus on Caylee. She has clearly told the media everything useful she's heard from Casey - I don't think there's a lot to add. Her admitting to Casey's faults doesn't help anything - I'm sure her husband knows that the more sympatheitic casey seems, the more likely people will think Caylee is alive and look for her.

????? If you disagree then feel free to give facts that contradict it. I have followed this case from day one and am completely comfortable with I have stated. Please do not tell me to 'move on'. If people want to bash the Anthony's in this thread then it is entirely appropriate for someone to give opposing opinions. Having been a long time websleuths member I am very disappointed in how we have treated the Anthony's in this forum. it goes against what I believe the philosophy of the board is for how families of victims are supposed to be treated.

While I agree with you that the Anthony's had nothing to do with Caylee's disappearance and that the speculation about their involvement in her death, or an actual cover up seems to be pretty wild and based on nothing....

I do think that the Anthony's having gone out and defended their daughter's many lies and complained about LE not investigating the case propertly, and because the mother gave so many interviews where she 100% defendned her daughter's innocence in spite of strong, strong evidence that no babysitter kidnapped Caylee opens them up to a fair degree of criticism.

I'm staying off this thread though, having already been told off for being mean and witchy.

Cindy reminds me of my mom, highly emotional when anything that is hers is threatened. I strongly believe Cindy believes her daughter and when it all turns out to be a lie and the truth is so horrendous, I think Cindy will lose her mind. I feel terrible for that. My heart aches, because Cindy is a mother whose daughter has repeadely let her down as was apparent in her blog posting. I think she is just holding out hope that her daughter may be a good person and that this crazy story is true. I think Lee and George know that it is not, but Cindy is very fragile her sanity resting at the very edge.

My mother is like this - she will lie to protect us even if she knows we are wrong and she will believe our lies until there is proof, solid proof and then she is so sad that her kids are ups. Not that we ever did anything remotely as terrible as this.

Haven't heard back about any searches. Them not searching, is that the answer, there is no need and they know it?

I can't wrap my mind around what she could have done with Caylee.

I can't wrap my mind around all the news reports and the mom saying 'things are coming together', 'she is protecting us', 'she didn't harm Caylee'....then in the same articles I am reading LE is saying, 'if only Casey would talk to us and tell us where she is'.....ay yi yi. This is just the nutest case I believe I have ever witnessed!

ITA. The case somewhat reminds me of darly routier case and the susan smith case.

I think LE checked out everything the Anthony's told them yesterday and the day before and none of it checked out. More lies by Casey to her family etc etc. Everything Cindy gave them probably proved false and they told the family today. I am sure this has wiped Cindy out. I feel really bad for her and her family but the truth needs to come out on this case. I don't think Casey will ever tell the truth to her family or LE and will string them along as long as she can and LE is moving on without her. I think once it is proven that somehow poor little caylee is dead that Casey will come up with some other lie on how she died and try to convince her family of it. ie, someone else did it and she was afraid for the family or something...

She could be in some type of shock. Her granddaughter is missing and the police think her daughter is responsible. I am not sure how I would be acting. I'd be reaching for any possible scenario that didn't point to my daughter as well.

Once Cindy believes what 99.9% of the people who know about this case believe, she has lost not just her grandchild, but her own child as well.

That makes me really, really sad.

Looking over the video and picture footage something has struck me about Casey. SHe is truly ENJOYing the attention. She's certainly a narcissist however she comes across as getting a real kick from being so deceptive. It seems like she's glad of the power she has over everyone.

Interesting...my mother loved me but you let someone tell her I did something wrong and I did it!!! My mother believed if there is smoke there is fire and you can be dang sure I received punishment if she believed I had done something,lol...of course these were tiny things done in the 50's,lol

This entire case has my head spinning. In regards to Cindy, I go back and forth on what I think. Looking at everything she has said and done, it's obvious there have been lies and manipulation. HOWEVER, the reasoning behind it is what's a mystery. Is she doing it to show Casey she's on her (Casey's) side? Especially after her first jail conversation with Casey. It's really hard to know. I know everyone on this board is having high emotions right now, so I can only imagine what the family is feeling. Whatever reason Cindy has for the way she has acted, I think that she, either purposefully or inadvertently, has hindered the investigation and frustrated many people. IMHO, that's why there has been so much backlash towards her. I am sure there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of. Unfortunately, that has made us frustrated beyond belief and we latch onto what we do know and can take our frustration on.
All of this is just my opinion, please don't flame me!! I would use the little smiley waving the white flag, but don't know where to find it. =)
