When they collect evidence, don't they ONLY put one item per bag? If that's the case, they only took 2 things. One of those bags is obvious that it's something with a more square appearance. No one ever knew what the gas cans looked like or if they were identical.

Yes, it would be in one bag eliminating the possibility of transfer evidence potentially. They went there with 2 appropriate sized evidence bags as they either had a warrant for them specifically or permission to seize them specifically, but they are named somewhere.

Keep in mind, I personally think if she has not already, Casey will confess if she feels they are closing in and she has a chance to mitigate her guilt.
I would expect her to say she fell into the pool, hit her head and drowned or some crap, and I freaked out and buried her, enter accomplice now, so I confessed to so and so and THEY moved her body after convincing me I would get the dp.. I did what I was told for fear of (insert lie dujour)
There is a HUGE difference between whether or not she gets the dp, jail for life, or pleads to a much lesser charge like abuse of a corpse or manslaughter via wreckless endangerment of a child..

Her lawyer defended a guy and gf who BEAT a 3 year old to death, and pled it down to manslaughter, IIRC, gf out in 10 mos. Dad out in 3 years-

Everybody put your energy and send your chi to LE to find this child's body, it could be crucial to the end of this story..

The Fox reporter said that Cindy Anthony yelled to them to "get off her property" "leave" nice considering she was all about the media before. Something is definately going down besides just bags of evidence coming out of the house.

GIVE ME A BREAK! I am so sick of reading from people bashing the Anthonys. How much have you been following this case? The Anthony's (gma, gpa, Lee) have allowed the police to search EVERYTHING they wanted WHENEVER they wanted WITHOUT a search warrant. THEY are the ones that called the police to begin with. Not only called them once but called them MUTLIPLE times when they could not get a response. They have responded to every meeting request from LE and LE has never indicated that they did not anwer all questions. They have readily answered questions without a lawyer. The only issue raised by LE was that Cindy was upset when they wanted to talk to the great grandfather in the nursing home and demanded they did not do that. That was wrong but an understandable emotional response and LE has had NO complaints since.

They collected receipts, followed up with friends, SAVED the trash bag from the car to give to police at the beginning.

Do people really expect them to get on TV and implicate their daughter and admit Caylee could be dead. The WHOLE REASON for being on TV is get people to search for Caylee in case she is alive - LE and all PR people will tell you that people need to believe she is alive. I can tell you I have seen Caylees face on TV a million times more then many other kids thanks to the Anthony's willingness TO subject themselves to the continuing humiliation JUST IN CASE Caylee is out there.

They must feel horrible and humiliated having to constantly present what Casey has said knowing it does not make sense. However they gain nothing by having people believe they believe Caylee may be dead. They need people to be optimistic about her being alive so they will keep their eyes open for her IN CASE there is a Zanny.

I also can't fault them for pushing LE to search and asking for the FBI. LE does not appear to be searching (no doubt for good reason) so the Anthony's are trying to get tips in, get the FBI based on a hope thta just maybe Caylee is alive. LE probably is sure she's dead but the Anthony's of course will continue to hope againt hope that she is not.

I think that is why I am holding out hope that they were not involved or covering up for their daughter.

I think many people here have been following this case quite closely.

It's unfortunate (for Caylee's sake) that there isn't more public sympathy for the Anthony family, but most of the negativity is directed at Casey, with some reserved for the parents who appear to be protecting their daughter at the expense of their granddaughter.

It's certainly an emotional situation all around, whether you believe the family or not.

that doesn't sound good. =( geez....I don't even want to go to lunch. They must be about to shed some light on this case at anytime.

I think all of us are just waiting for closure

She does have a tendency to lash out and throw a temper tantrum when that happens.

I think the Anthony's have been desperately trying to believe what we all WANTED to .. that beautiful Caylee could not have been killed by her own mother.

It's been hard for us... it's had to have been unbearable for them.

I am not aware of any state that requires a specific amount of defense attorneys for any case? Maybe I misunderstood your question?

No, when a defendant is facing the death penalty, don't some states require them to have 2 defense attorneys? I believe this is to help in the appeal process but I'm not sure why exactly.

I'll research that and see what I can find out.

Hmmnn. Yeah we have all been discussing it since the moment we first heard. I hadn't heard that though. I wonder if the forensics are back and it's bad, bad news?

On FoxNews just now: they were talking about Cindy & George getting back home now, how Cindy turned and rather angrily yelled "Why don't you just get off my property?" Seems she's had it, nothing more to say. We'll see.

Yes, something is up. They are now in grieving mode I believe.

Whatever they got as evidence, they already knew what they were going after. They went to the back yard and in the shed. It was specific. If it was the gas cans, they would be empty, Casey used that up already. They can also get evidence of dirt or such from the bottom of the cans and possibly test against where they may have been set down.

Looks like everyone's on the same page--if they don't come up with something in the next 17 days, Casey will be released. I think they are cranking up the pressure with yesterdays 6 hour interview and then again today the search of the house. The speed of it was was incredible. CSI knew specifically where to go and what to look for. Padilla said LE has had no contact with Casey since she lawyered up. That means in my mind, the grandparents broke down about SOMETHING they have been keeping back. And it's MAJOR.
