I sadly gave up hope that Caylee was alive due to the smell of decomp in the trunk. There is just no getting around that at all.

I'm with you. There is no way a detective would make that strong of a statement on the stand unless he was sure of his information. Then when we take Cindy's first emotional statement "It smells like a **** dead body has been in the car", I think it's probably likely that Caylee is no longer with us.

Yeah he calls and reports his wife missing as he is AT the mattress store buying a matteress. I never will forget that one.

I know I would rather see her missing. I am still holding on to hope that this is just LE acting like something is up to throw off the kidnapper(s).

yes, you are correct. She had been living this lie to everyone including her family and boyfriend for two years....she had told them she was an "event planner" at universal...now if she had ANOTHER job that no one has mentioned...well that remains uknown.

Well, I was sure Casey was lying, but I am surprised that George said what he said, knowing now that she did NOT have a job at all....he just confirmed another lie...

I would think reporters could have done a better job identifying where they were by noting which rooms had black out paper put up.

Just an observation - George saw Casey at 2:25 p.m. on 6/24 - Casey posted the above Myspace message at 2:40 p.m. on 6/24. Did she carry a laptop around to be able to post so fast after leaving the house?

IF this all turns out to be death by accident - it just baffles me to no end why whoever couldn't just dial 911 - I will never, ever get it. I mean = this guy the other day called 911 because the sandwich he ordered was made wrong. How do you NOT call 911 when any human is hurt and in trouble?

Nope- she was never at the house on the 24th - george never saw her on the 24th - he was just CYA for the gas cans - don't buy that story at all

That's a good catch.

My guess is that George did not have time to ask Cindy if he should say 2:25 or later when he said this. The 2 of them really need to work better at geting their facts straight.

That and the cadaver dog(s) hit convinced me that poor Caylee is probably not still alive. I can't get around that. I am convinced the dog(s) were right on, especially after even the grandmother admitted the car reeked of a dead body.
