I don't understand it for the life of me. I just don't know how they can honestly justify it. What exactly are they doing? If they were trying to cover up for Casey, then why not fake a search? Unless they have an ounce of a conscience and can't defraud the people that way so they don't join in the searches because then they would be face to face with people who are heartbroken about this case.

Just speculation on my part. I just can't wrap my head around this issue without coming to just about the same conclusion every time.

I agree with you. Do you think they searched the airport area early on, perhaps at night? They had these phone records almost immediately after locking Casey up.

I don't think the LE have a clue where to start searching. As for the "family"....they don't want her found. They know what happened and have been helping cover it up. If, and I hate typing this, her body is found...they know it will point to Casey, and then to them. Just mo, but I think George has known since about the 24th or so, and then told Cindy shortly after. What I am not sure of is Lee, and what he knows.

Compulsive gamblers are known to commit lots of crimes, but I don't believe I've heard of one that has murdered. But, I could be wrong. This theory could be supported by the Anthonys financial theft and why she stole from Amy.

The Hard Rock casino is in Tampa, just off of I-4, and Florida has various dog tracks, jai lai, and the lottery. I know someone that was addicted to scratch off tickets. Stole from work, they caught him, he lost his job and actually spent time in jail for it. From what I hear, its very much like alcoholism and you can't kick it.

I don't know but my gut feeling says no. The media swarmed on them from the beginning so they would have most likely told us that they were on the ground searching. Plus, they seem to like to tout whenever they are 'doing something for Caylee' that they would have told us themselves. Remember George's "Phew......51 miles".
I just can not seem to give them the benefit of the doubt here and that leads me to believe that they know something. JMO.

ABSOLUTELY!

I don't think Lee knew anythin until Casey had been in jail for a couple of days BUT I do believe he now knows everthing. He knows that everything that has fallen out of Casey's mouth is BS. Complete BS. He has investigated on his own. He has his answers. That is why he has become "JEDI". Lee knows the truth and can blow Casey and her lies out of the water! Casey knows this too! AND she knows that Lee doesn't normally put up with her BS!

You may be right. And ya know what? I pray they DO know something. I shudder when I think of Casey getting away with what I am pretty sure she did.

I think out of desperation to believe Caylee is alive and they will be with her again where the Anthony's are concerned. As for the searches I think for at least two reasons, one being denial. They don't want to search in case they do find her body nor do they want to admit that publicly they think Casey is capable of hurting her child.

Did anyone catch the "live" interview on Greta last night between Lee and Padilla? It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. They "meet" to discuss freeing Casey in the middle of the front yard, at night, surrounded by reporters? Sooooooooo staged.

Hi friends. I have two children about Lee and Casey's ages and I pray that had they ever done something like Casey has done, I would still love them, but make them face the music, not cover up for them.

I know for sure that I would not be angry with LE, or the media, but with my own daughter.

On the other hand, I know my children are loving, moral people and would never harm their own child, or anyone elses.

I just don't get their behavior. I understand their sorrow, but them backing her every lie really rubs me the wrong way. I guess that is why Casey is the liar and manipulator that she is.

YES! That was bordering on stupidity! It was sooo staged and phony. And Lee laughing contiually bugged me no end!

If Casey was any of these things then I can see giving HER the benefit of doubt. But I don't. I see a woman more involved with the party scene than her child. I see a woman that has not given a single clue to LE that has panned out in finding her daughter. I see a selfish, spoiled brat who has always gotten her way and will put herself first over EVERYBODY.

ITA with your entire post, just snipped it to save space. She might very well have doted on Caylee when she was around people but her selfishness definately kicked in when everyone was out of site. She was more interested in being with a boyfriend than
making something of herself like getting her GED, a full time job and planning for a future with Caylee. Heck, she didn't even have a drivers license. She probably thought that Tony was a way out of her parents house, which we know she wanted. If she would have only left Caylee with Cindy and George
we probably wouldn't all be meeting like this everyday....:furious:

I can understand posters that hope and believe Caylee is alive. I can even respect that. What I cannot process AT ALL is the mindset that Casey is so concerned with her daughter's well being and safety. That Casey is a good mother PROTECTING her child.

I am a mother of four children. Being a good mother requires enormous patience, strength and SACRIFICE. I'd like to speak for all GOOD mothers that take their job seriously. We put our children FIRST. We make sure they are safe, we check on them and we know where they are. We agonize over decisions that we make because we want the best for our children. We stay up at night worrying even when our kids are safely sleeping in the NEXT ROOM. When we take time out for ourselves we feel guilty and we CALL TO CHECK ON THEM no matter whom they are with. We love our children plain and simple.

I Do Not... & I am sorry if my minority view comes across that way & I Knew all along that my opinion is & would be unpopular... I guess I just see things differently & I can relate for reasons "un-be-known-st"... I could give examples... but it would be irrelevant...

I didn't post to spark a disagreement, but rather to bring to enlightenment toward how it looks to an outsider looking in... sometimes people get caught in the moment & maybe "forget" or have disregard to the family that could be reading this... I meant NO harm...

Wonder if she'll be allowed to give "media interviews" like out in the driveway - like Cindy does when she comes home? This will most definitely be the "big show" in the coming week - no doubt. If BH or Baez doesn't allow her to talk - then we will all still be sitting here speculating some more.

We can only hope. But no I don't think Baez will allow it.

I think that just as Padilla did last night on Greta, we'll be given snippets just like a documentary, or rather mockumentary, of Casey, Cindy, George, Lee and Padilla. The circus is only going to go, IMO. I was very disheartened after watching what Padilla did on Greta last night........

The only thing missing from those "driveway" interviews are the elephants and marching band.

1. there may have or may not have been a stain in the trunk of Casey's car.
2. If there was a stain, it may or may not have been biological in nature.
3. CAsey may or may not have borrowed a shovel a few days after Caylee was seen.
4. If CAsey did borrow said shovel it may or may not have been used to dig up bamboo.
5. Cadaver dogs that may or may not be reliable have made hits in an area where there may or may not have been a body.
6. Caylee may or may not be dead.
7. CAsey may or may not be getting out of jail.
8. Caylees's father, who might have been known to Casey, may or may not have been involved in Caylee's case, according to some theories.
9. There may or may not have been the smell of decomp in Caseys car.
10. There have been items found that may or may not be relevant to this case.

WHAT FACTS? So far, we have no facts that support any theory. Unless it's the theory that this case is weird to no end.

Thankyou! LOL--So many of us have lost sleep over this and Caylee wasn't even our child! Somehow I think Casey is sleeping just fine.


I missed the dog and pony show last night but I cannot understand what Lee found so amusing?
