We all bring our different experiences into these discussions and formulate our opinions based on the facts of this case and what we know. I have a family member that had twins and didn't marry the father. She moved back home with them as infants so the family could help. She had a good job (unlike Casey), had a real sitter for their 1st year, that everyone knew (unlike Casey), then Grandpa took over. Things were good for the first year, then she started partying and not coming home (which could be like Casey).
No one was happy with her or the situation everyone was put in, especially Grandma.
I know for a fact, she wasn't happy with the flack she was getting, and pulled the pity party lament on me a few times, but not once did anyone threaten anyone using the kids. Everyone bucked up and put the kids first. She knew either Grandma, Grandpa, a
sister or brother living at home would 'give up' whatever they wanted to do to watch the
kids while she wasn't there. Was she selfish, oh you bet! Was there resentment, all the time. Did she ever worry about them, no, they were with people that loved them and loved her, despite what she put everyone thru. Luckily, things turned out well. She ended up with a great guy, that we all knew and she didn't because she was too busy running with her crowd from work, instead of the circle we ran with around home. They got married when the twins were close to going into high school. The twins are now in their mid-twenties and very successful.
This experience has had me up and over the fence a few times in this case. Initially, I was sure Casey did something with Caylee, but I wasn't so sure Caylee was dead. I was consumed with the dynamics of the family, especially when Cindy started in with her version of things. All the players in this case are saying things that make no sense
and it still goes on.
As the timeline tightens and facts are coming out, I am still not able to stick with a theory. Logic tells me Caylee is gone and at the hands of her mother. But I am still waffling. I can't get past my hinky feeling about Cindy and George. Cindy has changed her stories too many times. Did she tuck Caylee into bed on the 15th? Did George really see them on the 16th? Why did Casey really make up all the crazy stuff she did?
Why is she putting her family thru this? How did any of them let Caylee get put in the middle?
These questions torture me! Thank goodness we're heading into the weekend and that LE has told the Anthonys to chill, it may give us the break we need here.
Taking a deep breath, now.
