Okay, sorry if anyone was offended. Wasn't my goal. I agree that we all speculate and guess and make conclusions, but isn't it on the case, not feelings between Baez and Casey. Let's focus on the case.

Here's a question. Can Baez petition for a trial date prior to the currently-assigned November date?

I'm wondering if he does so and is successful and the charges then get upped to murder/manslaughter, is he then stuck with that date?

I think he is given the earliest date based on the length of trial and the court schedule. The defense USUALLY asks for more time. I do not think the prosecution has that ability.

What I appreciated about this board from the beginning was the respect. Some occasionally go down a strange road and occasionally there is a bit of tension between members. But from visiting around, this site is the most professional.

I believe that Jesus' mother was named Zenaida or something. Trying to check all the facts out. Did find a Jose Ortiz that Baez represented when he first started out and that was for possession of cocaine.

I'm not sure there is a way to verify that. They've set their accounts to private so no one would know if they were commenting unless one of us is in their friend's list and then most likely won't know who they are messaging because most of their friends are now set to private.

There is none. That is my point; there shouldn't be. I just think these comments showing up about how close Baez and Casey look are ridiculous. People have to stop making a story when there isn't one. JMO

I am behind on reading, but Katie526, when you are the moderator you can say that people have to stop saying something.

Making up a story? I don't think so. I know what it looked like to me. I am going to stop mentioning now, but not because you said so.

I do not mean to be rude, but I have absolutely NO RESPECT for Baez. I do, however, feel sorry for his wife and daughter.

That is not his Mother's name, I assume that is a very common name in Fla.

Kinda O/T---Is anyone else going to need a good chiropractor when this case is finally over?? My neck has been killing me for a week now since I found this site and became obsessed!! I sit down "for a few" and before I know it, the day is almost over!! I am soooo sore from sitting here everyday all day.....

This is about the 4th or 5th case that I've spent web-sleuthing and lost more than a few days over.

At least now the family knows what to expect from me when a true crime is in the news.... especially one that involves a child!

And yes... I do have my chiropractor's number tapped to the monitor.

Yeah. I'm researching now to see if he's a public defender but if you're in a strip mall with a bail bondsman, I'm guessing you're not a high priced attorney.

Guys - we have to move away from this "they are nuzzling and cuddling". This is being blown out of proportion. They were being attacked; he is her attorney. Please don't make it what it isn't. Especially for the sake of starting a thread that drags Baez's wife all over the place. That is not fair.

I don't know what video you were watching but from what I saw nobody attacked them . They walked out stopped did the neck nuzzle/ear whisper and it was during that time the reporter from channel 9 got in Casey's face with her mic asking if she killed Caylee . They weren't mobbed until they got closer to the car .

I've been camping for the past week...I missed a LOT!

Even though Casey's out of jail, I think she'll be back in handcuffs soon.

She's going to be charged with murder soon.

I don't think that she's a drug addict, a mule, an escort, a dancer, or a prostitute. She's certainly not in any kind of intimate relationship with Baez.

I think that Casey's a party girl who got sick of not being able to go out with her childless friends, and who constantly bickered with her parents over the care of her child.

She didn't want her parents controlling Caylee and her, yet asking her mother to keep Caylee so she could go out meant that her mother had a position of power over Casey.

She killed Caylee to "kill two birds with one stone:" 1) freed her of parental responsibilities. 2) removed Cindy's position of power over her.

Caylee is dead. The body may or may not be found. But Casey WILL face murder charges soon. In our society, children do not "disappear" without SOMEONE being held accountable.
