What's your take on Amy? I can see no motive for her to help Casey - after all, she's the one who physically brought Cindy to Casey's hideout at Tony's.

She was also victimized by Casey twice in the space of a month - first Casey stole $700 in cash Amy planned to use on vacation, and to add even more injury to that insult, Casey ripped her off again by stealing and forging a check while she was tooling around in Amy's car.

I can see Amy being mad enough to strike out at Casey in July, but the baby was already gone for a month by then.

But with all that has gone on...casey's arrest, kidnapping etc etc...why would any friend of casey's keep caylee all this time when if they ever return her they are going to end up in the slammer for kidnapping??? and if they took her out of state its a federal crime. The whole world knows she is gone and that the police want her. I think if some friends had her they would have brought her back right away and told casey the gig was up. I just don't think I can believe that scenario they are all trying to pass off now.

I think I posted a theory about this. In my scenario, Casey and friends conspired to stash Caylee someplace and try to extort money from C&G for her safe return. Their idea was to hurt the grandparents, or GG parents, or any or all family, and get money out of them at the same time. I also wondered if the Father's Day blow-out was about Cindy threatening something and CAsey saying she would pay her back for the money she stole, fighting about how could she do that, Casey insisting she could do it, she didn't need them, ... because she already had a plan in mind to rip them off and use Caylee as a pawn.
Whose body was in the trunk and backyard, Casey, Cindy, George?
Are there any other missing people in the area who could have had ties to Casey or the nefarious and ever-widening gang of ghouls that she calls friends?

I really can't believe all of the posters on topix or otherwise conspiring to pull pranks like the giftcards on the Anthony family at all. I don't think it's funny in the least. It's sad, really. That's what's wrong with this country. People let groupthink overshadow class, intelligence, and common sense. We waste energy pulling stupid pranks instead of putting that energy into finding another missing person, passing out flyers (even if you don't think Caylee is alive, it helps to raise awareness, or maybe drum up a possible witness to Casey's whereabouts) or just protesting peacefully.

Those stupid pranks are a hallmark of low class and low intelligence, in my opinion. It's people who can't control their vindictive nature who are weak, and no better than the person they are trying to slight.

Yes, I believe Casey is guilty of something, yes, I believe the grandparents are making crucial mistakes, but these people who are pulling stupid pranks- sending pizzas, singing songs, loading false giftcards- well, they're gasoline on the fire, and they want their piece of the news camera, and it takes the spotlight away from Caylee, and in my opinion, dishonors her memory.

It's enough that some of her own family have pushed her to the back burner, must we as a nation do it, too, by stealing the spotlight with our rash and mobbish behavior?

Take it to the "ranting" thread and let this be what it's supposed to be, a general discussion thread to discuss the case.

Could you get a link to support this? LP said 5 days yesterday. If he knows who has her, how do they have a right to Caylee or is there a blood relation possibly? Only Casey has custody right??

They do not know who has her. The person that knows isn't talking.....but the evidence will.

Ha! People at Topix are going to donate gift cards to the Anthonys (per their request on the "Find Caylee" website). But they're not going to load any money on the gift cards they donate, in hopes that Cindy will go to Walmart, load up a buggy, get to the register, and have zero dollars on the cards....

It doesn't matter, two wrongs don't make a right. Just because the Anthony's are behaving irrationally, and are spouting anger, doesn't mean that it is okay too pull those pranks. All it does is add fuel to the fire. It is not helpful in the least. People need to have more self restraint, and focus that creative energy in a way that is constructive into furthering that case. Or even a peaceful protest...but not malicious pranks. All it does is add to the circus. It makes me nauseous.

IMO, the Anthonys have acted irrationally, however the public at large thinks grandma specifically has lied, and has lied to the public and preyed on their emotions about this missing child when they believe her daughter knows everything. I'm not saying grandma did or didn't, I'm just pointing out that this is what I get from reading 1000's of messages.

1. NO! The car sat in the lot for 3 days according to the owner of the Amscot Check Cashing store before he had it towed in. No one used the car after Casey dropped it off. Cindy is the one who reported the purse was in the vehicle so it has not been verified. Neither have the keys being in the car been verified.

IF someone had wanted to steal the car to use for "other purposes"...they would not be stupid enough to bring it back to the same place they stole it from knowing there were cameras there!! So...the answer is NO!

2. Caylee doesn't have "family" in Puerto Rico!!! Caylee's family consists of Casey, Cindy, Lee, and George Anthony. There is nothing that would lead anyone to believe that Caylee is even alive at the moment and certainly nothing that would lead anyone to believe she is in a different country partying with her "new family"!!

My question wasn't whether the car was used while it was abandoned at Amscot, rather was it used from the tow yard. We had a similar situation in Baton Rouge not too long ago, where one of the tow yard workers "borrowed" a vehicle. Unfortunately he wrecked the car and is now in jail for theft.

What makes you so firm that there is no Puerto Rico connection?

I'm having trouble with the server, so I'm a little behind. However, I have read all of Isabelle's posts and don't see anything to justify your remark. I also note that the response you are replying to here has to do with your initial response to Isabelle.
I feel that your virtual slam was unjustified. She is just plugging along, I think, sorting things out. I know sometimes I think I have a clue, a lead to making sense out of this mess, and then realize that I forgot a fact or don't have enough info. No one has ever made me feel bad because of that, or much less questioned my motives.
But bottom line here, and the reason I am writing, is that I think you over reacted, at least.

I don't really know what you are replying to, but I am always behind on this thing, I will post something and by the time I get to it, I forgot I posted it. There are only a few people on WS that are perfect the rest of us just trudge along...everything is good.

So Leonard is now spreading that George was lying when Casey left on the 16th? George says it was a nice normal hugs and kisses day and now Leonard says they were arguing? I'm glad the boys drove by in the flat bed singing a little tune. People have the right to protest and they weren't there with pitchforks and a noose to really threaten anyone.

We are discussing their lies and BS regarding what happened to this innocent child! Which is basically what their case is built on. What else is their to discuss in this case? More lies and BS!

I don't know how I can make my point any clearer, or why it doesn't seem to make sense that others shouldn't follow in the Anthony's irrational behavior. It seems it would be common sense, but I guess some people feel that behavior is helpful. So we must just disagree
