I am anxious to go out and do some searching right now, but again, I'm waiting for us to hear from LE and Adam's family re: LE's collection and assessment of leads so far, and the direction they are pursuing. Again, don't want to overstep any bounds. I want to help.

Maybe my local connection to this case is clouding my normal approach and I just need to do my thing like I normally do in cases here. I'm finding myself holding back...

Options:

1. Suicide
2. Foul play / Homicide / Kidnapping
3. Accident
a. Cover up
b. No cover up.
What about hiding? (being protected from a potential threat)

If Adam ended up in water, he would not necessarily be found by now. Where the water goes, current etc. would be a big factor of course.

I keep going back to abandoned/empty buildings or basements very close to where he was last seen.

I keep going back to abandoned/empty buildings or basements very close to where he was last seen.

So if he's in the water, where exactly would be the most likely entry points.

From there we can try to analyze potential currents, flow, weather conditions (very cold, snow and freezing haveo occurred), etc etc. I'm sure LE is doing all this...I really wish we had an update from LE.

Gosh I hate going here:

*Warning graphic, please scroll in roll if you need to, involves forensic discussion etc)*

Need detailed weather reports for the 14 days to the present. It got coooooold.

What is are the water temps of the Platte, etc (and was it Smith Lake?)

Will do some poking around.

In Dylan's case we talked a lot about how long it takes for a body to rise to the surface from a lake depending on various factors, the gases, etc. Quite a scientific equation which involves many variables.

I think we are on the same page, rosesfromangels. It's great to have your love and positive energy in Adam's thread. I've followed a lot of cases with you...

I too, in addition to the common location of water, am also thinking about the possibility of abandoned buildings...we see this in a looooot of cases (but usually ones that include foul play, anyway o/t); it's a lot of work and effort but we can try to isolate some via satellite images...quite a needle in a haystack...What about abandoned boat/ building near the water...

Where are the thick brush/wooded areas? Which of these have been searched already?

Again, this all map and terrain based.

And even if we/ I isolate an area, we should not go there without permission from LE or his family as nobody needs to contaminate potential evidence. I guess my goal is to help simply submit search area ideas to Adam's family if they need it and help brainstorm, based on my experience. Which is only studying thousands of cases here.

Maybe there's a lot going on behind the scenes with the PI.

I think maybe gears are still turning. Between LE, the PI Team, Adam's family...

Hopefully they've got this covered. I would imagine so. I notified them about Texas Equusearch, just in case (as well as my finding of the incorrect information on NamUS)...which reminds me, I wonder if that has been resolved yet?

I am consolidating the everything necessary and recent from all sources into one post so I/ we can just bump in one quote in the future, as well as get a draft necessary for an introductory post in case we get to thread 2:

I really think the Sam's Club surveillance cameras across the street from Syntax are going to be their best bet. That seems to me to be the best way to see which direction Adam went. Google Street view actually gives a really good view of where the cameras are mounted on the Sam's Club roof, and which direction they're pointing. From what I can tell, it seems likely that the cameras would have picked up Adam if he left Syntax traveling west, southwest, or northwest.

Here are some maps I made that show the placement of the Sam's Club cameras and rough estimates showing which directions they are pointing. I also noted their relation to Syntax.

Southeast corner of Sam's Club: http://i.imgur.com/vtQpl2c.jpg

What are the locations of the pictures in both flyers (post #450), anyone know, tia?

The underground tunnels are back up near where he had parked his car, though. So he'd have had to get back north to do it and he didn't take his car.

My husband has seen the tunnels from Union Station because he did some work there as they were renovating. He said it's cool and creepy. I also enjoy the haunted history regarding old Denver and there is a lot that centers around the tunnels and connecting buildings. I worked in a building on Larimer Square and our basement had doors which connected to the next building. We never went through the doors to the next business, but there were hallways between foundations and it was dark and creepy and full of spiders, old chairs, and most definitely roaches (those old buildings are crawling with them, it's just a fact of life there!).

So while very cool and drawing, I don't think that's where he went off to (and the fact tat it isn't very easily accessible unless you own and manage the building space).

See and I wonder if he found access to a rooftop.

Another possibility is that he went to meet someone in the apartment complex(es) that someone local here said are in the direction he left from Syntax. If something happened there he could have been put into a dumpster, if they have them.

According to the Instagram geotag info, the pic of him wearing a hat and backpack with rock formations in the background was taken in Canyonlands National Park in Utah.

The photo of him next to the waterfall was taken in either Rocky Mountain National Park, or just east of there at Horsetooth Reservoir in Colorado. That's based on the date he posted it to social media compared with the Instagram geotag info from other pics he uploaded on the same date.

The photo of him wearing the red jacket was taken at the Wind River Range in Wyoming. That is based on the Facebook geotag info from similar photos he uploaded around the same date he posted this photo.

There are train tracks just west of the sam's club behind the Home Depot that run along the river.

Did we ever find out if he works at the Iyengar Yoga Center? That is directly south of Syntax a few blocks.

I mentioned that Yoga center a few posts back about a possibility of where he was heading but someone here said that center was closed at night.

It's not very insightful, but I found a post from Adam on this Colorado yoga guru's Facebook page. It leads me to believe he was very in to his yoga practice.
