Regarding the TV being on Nickelodeon...
My teenage son brought up something that is kind of interesting. He says that on a Monday morning that Nickelodeon programming is mostly aimed at younger children. He says that after about 8 or 9 am, the programs would probably not interest a 13 yr old boy. Not sure if this would narrow down a timeline... or just random useless info.

Which Nickelodeon? There are many .... go ask or google.

Dylan sent text messages throughout the evening. Investigators say the last text went out at 9:37 p.m. Mark Redwine says he watched a movie with his son until about 10:30 p.m., and he went upstairs to bed as Dylan settled in for the night on the couch.

Mark says he last saw his son at 7:30 the next morning. He said he planned to drop Dylan off at a friend's house on the way, but Dylan was still snoozing when it was time to go.

Mark says he handled a payroll issue at his company's office and met with his divorce attorney, and when he got home at 11:30 a.m. Dylan was gone.

Investigators say Dylan's cell phone has not sent out a signal since he vanished. A black Hurley backpack, containing all the clothes Dylan packed for his Thanksgiving visit, also disappeared.

I hope this helps !!

BBM: That really tells us nothing because when did LE consider Dylan vanished?

BBM: I was just telling my hubby this exact thing. I was telling him that i knew Scott Peterson killed Lacie the minute I heard he sold her vehicle. He knew she wouldn't be needing it. But that I haven't heard anything like that out of Mark. Maybe I will on Tuesday or on Wednesday but as of today, I have not heard anything to convince me he did something to harm Dylan. IMO.

There are things in this case that sort of are like that, for me. They make me wonder was this premeditated? But, I in no way have that sense of certainty
that you felt in the Scott Peterson case.

1. Court battle to get Dylan for Thanksgiving Day
2. The one way ticket (Wouldn't need round trip?)
3. No food in the house
4. No Thanksgiving plans
5. Appointments set for the very next morning (planned alibi?)

No, unfortunately, that doesn't help, because it doesn't say Dylan's phone stopped communicating with the tower Sunday night. A reporter states LE says (bolded) Dylan's phone hasn't sent out a signal since Dylan vanished, and we don't know when Dylan vanished, Sunday or Monday, because LE won't say.

I don't have any problem if it's your opinion that the phone stopped pinging Sunday night - it's just when something like that is stated as a fact, especially when it's also stated that LE confirmed it in almost every news article, I want to make sure I didn't miss something.

I do not think it is a matter of LE won't say, but rather can't say when he disappeared.

Thanks, Clu. I respect you and everything you have to say.

There are so many that have MR as undesirable No. 1.

There is much debate as to where the 9:37 communication came from.

I have been called out on here and other places. I have been told I was a bully. I have no vested interest in MR. I want Dylan home where he belongs.

All I'm asking is for someone to give me a walkthrough on what they think happened based on info we know.

Some have complained they can never give their theories. What is yours? Respectfully, I would appreciate a walk-through why MR is not involved?

Vanished ... WHEN? That's the key. Nothing you linked confirms any tower as stated above.

LE confirmed a "tower"? Really? Where?

Cell phones communicate with cell towers, while the cell phone is turned on.

The cell phone and a cell tower sends signals back and forth every so often, as long as the cell phone is on. It's kinda like, where are you, and the cell phone is electronically answering, Here i am.

Or vice versa.

I don't have the transcript in front of me, but on one of the two shows as you are aware, Bender states no cell phone activity after sometime Sunday evening. I guess the word "activity" could open to interpretation?

Just responding to your list

1. I had no idea this was a fact. Can you elaborate more.
2. We don't know what the parents arranged for as far as his return. I'm sure that ER would have made sure that was arranged before he left.
3. They stopped at Walmart and got food
4. He's a dude, and doesn't strike me as the type that gives a crap about Thanksgiving. I not a holiday person myself.
5. He works out of town for weeks at a time and has to take care of business when he can. If he had paperwork to turn into his employer he may have had to do that to get paid.

Bender said "no activity whatsoever." I believe that means cell phone was turned off since Sunday night. If it was not turned off, it would have activity, such as sending out signals, and receiving upcoming texts messages.

But they surely know when cell phone stopped sending a signal.

I am not sure. If in fact his phone stopped communicating on Sunday night, would that be proof that Dylan was "disappeared" Sunday night? I mean, enough to charge MR? Couldn't it also theoretically mean that his phone ceased working for good?(coincidental as that would be, in my view).

Now if that last text did not come from the house, that would be another issue, and should be enough to charge him, I would think, since he claimed they never left the house once they got there shortly after 8pm. That would make the whole evening a lie.

But I am not sure how specific the locale can be determined in such a rural area.

Yes I'd say that's open to interpretation or opinion what LE meant by activity. My interpretation is "calls and texts". If anyone else's interpretation is "pings", I have no problem with that.

That's not what the posts I was responding to stated though.

LE can't charge MR just because phone was not sending signals since Sunday night (assuming that's what Bender meant by "no activity whatsoever.")
That in itself doesn't prove MR is responsible.
If the last message came from some other address that would certainly contradict MR's story, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that is the case.

If phone was on, it would still be recieving upcoming texts.

Cell phones communicate with cell Towers, Dylan's cell phone quit communicating with any and all cell Towers that Sunday night, never to have re communicated with any Tower since his last text message that was sent from his cell phone Sunday night November 18. 2012

Ronald, I'm gonna have to ask you for a link for that, because you're stating it as fact, and I haven't seen that confirmed.
