Praying that today is the day Gannon is found. This sweet, innocent child.

This many days out, there’s a part of you that knows your loved one will not be coming home alive. But for the sake of your sanity, you beg God for them to be found, and for any sort of answer, no matter how painful. What goes through your mind in the waiting period is pure torment.

Praying for those who love him the most, for their strength and faith. Dear God...please let this be the day he is found.

This dawned on me last night: it appears, with her interview and statement, that TS is attempting to defend herself in the court of PUBLIC OPINION. Has it hit her that, if she faces the court of LAW, she's not looking at mean facebook posts but at LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE?

Imagine that you have been tossed out into sub 20 degree weather, where frostbite can begin very quickly; you have no shelter.
Missing your friends and mom, back in SC.
Knowing that this * , here in CO, wanted you out of her life.
You are only 11.
You have no phone...

I am keeping it real here.
In this moment, I am casting my galactic Vote, for Gannon to be found today.
I care.
I send Gannon all my love and light in this moment.
Peace to us all

I drove into Colorado Springs from the Midwest last night, just as the sun was setting behind the mountains. It was exquisite, but all I could think about was Gannon, abandoned out there. I imagined which mountain... pictured the search teams so dedicated to finding him.... as I drove, I considered the landscape around me.... so desolate in places.... vast... with ravines and culverts and outbuildings... a hundred million places to hide evidence....

That LE has pinpointed some specific areas tells me they aren't guessing. They've got credible tips and leads. It seems that Gannon loved his family dogs. It would be fitting if SAR dogs find him.

Jesse, do your thing. Bring Gannon home.

I appreciate your sentiment talking about dogs. I’m a dog lover. I think they’re almost human sometimes. All they want to do is please their owners. Yes. Jesse you’re a rock star, bring on an encore. Find our little boy in blue.

well, was it sub zero temp on January 27th?

Yeah; if I had the door open on my truck, or the back and was sitting with my legs out of the door/hatch, or sitting on my bumper, I'd then be sitting on the edge.

Same with "good to go". No word salad there for me. Very common usage within our military and here in the town where I live as well (we actually have a gas station called "Good to Go" here. LOL.

"Do you want chicken for supper?" Good to go.
"Does this dress look OK on me?" Good to go.
"Ready to do this?" Good to go.
"Are the bills paid?" Good to go.
Can we do it the day after tomorrow?" Good to go.
"Ready?" Good to go.
"Like this song?" Good to go.
"Want me to change the channel?" Good to go.
"Good to go?" Good to go.

Funny, I say "good to go" all the time, and grew up in a military environment.
I wonder if it's more common with military folks for some reason?
BTW, I had to laugh at your last example, and even said it out loud.
:) Thanks for the chuckle.

Tim Miller tells the media when he's on a search
Some teams release when they are on a search. I have no opinion on this. Sometimes it's done on purpose to rattle an "actor". Some teams post training pictures on social media. I consider this a recruiting tool. Some teams post everything on their website and social media. I am against this. You never know at what point on a search, it may turn from a rescue to a homicide investigation. The pictures are evidence.

The bottom of the doorjamb? I don't know what it's called for sure. Jmo
That actually makes most sense to me!
But as it is all a Tee-tale from beginning to end , I resent wasting time on anything she said.
It is her fault that search was delayed for more than a week.
It was HER fault his disappearance was reported as a runaway child, not a missing child.
Her fairy tales possibly cost him his life if he didn't die by her hand directly.

Doesn't Tim Miller have to be asked by LE to participate in a search? If so, LE who ask him may be ok with that approach and those that aren't (which makes sense to me) won't ask him.

The edge of a car.....

Who doesn't know what a bumper or a fender or a tailgate or a hood is?

So she's deceptive or dumb or maybe she's smarter than all of us, and every car has an edge and if we were more edumacated we'd know where that is.

Giving her the benefit of every doubt, I wonder if she meant running board. At least THAT would make some sense.

I don’t know where ‘The Palmer Herald’ link began, but it is a link to a FB page! I don’t mean to be a newbie- and I really appreciated the info in the link- but how is this not SM? I thought FB, YouTube, and others similar sites were not sanctioned here. Please help me understand how that and a Plunder utube vid discussing FB messages are different? (Maybe I should be asking a mod directly? See this is the stuff I don’t know and I want to be compliant and still be able to contribute appropriately.) Thank you.
PS: I think I replied to the wrong quote, originally another poster linked the aforementioned webpage.
Many were mistaken about the Herald link, assuming it to be the FB page of a real newspaper. As it turned out, it was not. Both it and the plunder YT page are not approved sources of info for WS, according to The Rules

I'm giving that lady NOTHING. Not ever. Not here.

I am not sure if all states are like PA. All SAR in PA have to be called in by a "responsible local authority". We cannot just show up unless there is an open call for volunteers. Some teams let their members volunteer if they are not called out, some do not due to liability reasons. It's not just the SAR team members. There is an entire incident command structure that has to be set up to provide food, water, porta potties, communications, warming tents, keep track of what team is searching what grid area, etc. It may start small, but it gets big very fast.

Locked him out? Forced him to stay in garage?
Froze to death?
Happened in the NE recently. Poor child died, age seven . His monster father locked him out.

It happened in NY, an 8 year old boy named Thomas Valva. He was forced to sleep in a garage and died of hypothermia. Still devastated about that one.
