Before the interview begins, Letecia is seen in the room by herself sitting on the couch with her arms and legs crosses, humming at times. District Attorney Michael Allen paused the recording to say he wanted jurors to see her demeanor as it regards to any mental health concerns.

Asks for LS's ID. Admires LS's purse. I know nothing about purses, but I'm guessing from comments it's expensive.

Identifies herself, gives maiden name Hardin, middle name Lynn. Gives email address when asked. Gives Facebook handle when asked. Gives instagram handle when asked. Explains she doesn't like first name so abbreviates it. Explains 'dr stauch' is because she has doctorate in education. Says she was a full time teacher, is no longer any more, is a substitute teacher now and that she is in training flight attendant now. Talking a mile a minute about herself. Can hear her smiling. Claims she got three offer letters to be a flight attendant from different airlines. Most animated and normal I've every heard her.

LS tells interviewer she has a doctorate in education and is about to be a flight attendant. The lying started immediately.

Also by contrast, it was this week (14 years ago) that Tori Stafford went missing after school. I didn't follow here because I'm too close to the situation (same town, and a small town at that, many mutual friends with her family) and Tori's mom sounded nothing like this.

Always on LS to find babysitters apparently. Says HH isn't ready to stay home alone. Whitters on a bit.

Detective turns focus to case. LS claims AS hates his name because same as his father. No idea if what she says about ASsr is true, so won't repeat it.

The notes come out.

Talking about going to GOTG. HH had to work. Taking the dogs. Gannon had an accident because of stomach problems. Went home. Didn't get dinner because Gannon wanted to take a bath. Gave Gannon bathbomb.

Just a normal, everyday situation except Gannon... she's describing his stools. It's explicit and unnecessary.

Talking about dogs, happy, laughing. Kids help out but Gannon wasn't feeling too well. Gannon lit candle to cover GI odour.

Says Gannon is very responsible. Didn't see a problem with him lighting a candle.

Letecia said she knew the conversation was being recorded, and she asked if it’ll stay private and within the Sheriff’s Office, “because I’m going to have to tell you some very personal things,” said Letecia. She also said she hadn’t eaten, so detectives gave her refreshments.

I believe it is, and I think it's awful for his sister that it's just been broadcast so publicly. I hope they warned her it was coming.

Was T 12? Freaking out over a small fire she put out? No adulting skills whatsoever?

Letecia's idea of a big fire because she was brought up in another place, I didn't catch the rest of it. Saw smoke coming up from the basement, running out to the truck I guess to get Laina out, came back inside ran downstairs to get Gannon, the fire was over there, and the candle was over here, and I take a whole bunch of them and started putting out the fire. So, I put the fire out, we get in Albert's truck. Gannon's worried about being in trouble, and yada, yada, yada.

Hard to follow. Second yada, yada, yada used now. Burn on Gannon, she points towards the neck area. Third yada, yada, yada used already! Asking her about the flames, but she's no a professional, not sure which blanket he was using,... ​
