I noted the verdict forms read - 'Not Guilty' as a first option, then 'Guilty' below.
I wonder if that's a purposeful change request by the Defense?
I never heard it read that way before-usually it's read- Guilty as a first option, then Not Guilty?
Any ideas?

The reason it is the first question is because IF it's not guilty..there would be no reason to even go through the rest of the verdict form. If even one believes he's guilty of something..They have to go thru the rest...Just like IF they find him Guilty of 1st degree murder with malice then they do not have to go into the lesser charges...

Forms are largely repetitive, which is why Judge Samour is reading only 1 from each type. That way the jurors get to hear the language, but do not need to hear it all repeated so many times. Phil Tenser

These jury instructions are very lengthy and could be quite overwhelming and confusing to the jurors. They will have legal representatives to help them out inside the jury room.

When they take their first vote if most or all agree with guilty they could have a quick verdict by Thurs but if their are holdouts of not guilty by reason of insanity deliberations could easily go into end of next week or longer if holdouts won't budge we've all seen this in the Jodi Arias trial.

I've served on jury's with these holdouts and it's very frustrating you feel like slapping them ( kidding) because we all wanted to go home.
