That's so funny, my partner's Australian and I completely missed that nerve/courage thing... I'm so used to hearing him speak. It's funny, we all speak English, but we use our words in very different ways at times.

I thought of something along those lines but something much more sinister.

I hope there isn't some secret club of freaks ala NAMBLA but with a penchant for kidnapping and murder. It's weird that there are so many cars/perps/attempts in such a short amount of time and small geographical area with the same MO a lot of the time.

Something is really wrong.

Frustrated with tablet and logging of for the night.

Westminster Police have definitively made a connection between the Ketner lake incident and the Jessica Ridgeway murder. We cannot go into details about the connection to preserve the integrity of the case.

I think all the sickos have come out of the wood work... It looks to them that JR's killer has gotten away with this thus far, so they all come out. Scary stuff.
 
I've expanded my horizons for similar abductions and killings to states outside Colorado. This one from Oklahoma last year is interesting. Carina Saunders, 19, was kidnapped and murdered by a sex trafficking gang as an example to another woman.

She was killed on October 9, 2011.
Look at the symbols on her jeans.

As far as I can tell, the two men named in the article are still in jail, but what about the rest of the members of the gang?

Well-I happen to think they have the guy who killed her, if he is still in prison for sexual assault. I know they apparently can't prove it.

i think "the" investigation means more than one victim is involved... So, it is not not "Jessica's investigation" that these receipts belong to .. IMO

maybe it belongs with the woman jogging investigation..

Does anyone have a link stating factually that child abduction cases by strangers are on the rise?
 
An observation - not sure if it has been noted before; or if it has any specific significance. But just want to share what I thought I saw. I believe the car lights in the attempted bar abduction had their lights OFF. As the white car rolled up to a stop the back lights (brake lights) were on but it does not appear that the headlights were shinning on anything in front (parked cars or road). Then as it rolled away (acceleration) the rear lights (brake lights) went off and there was no light from either front or rear.

Maybe they had been parked and lurking and when they saw the woman drive up alone.... they cranked and rolled without lights. Just something to ponder. Sorry if this has already been discussed ; I skimmed this evening.
