Do you know -- or does anyone know -- if these sites are set up to auto erase? Or whatever the technical IT lingo would be? Excuse my non-tech saavy-ness. Before you posted about the dark net research you'd done, I was wondering if he had time to clear his computer before he confessed/turned himself in/got arrested. Also if his hacker skills are good enough to make tracking his search history or saved files/documents difficult. I'm gonna go with 'no' on that one... if Robert Hanson couldn't outsmart his CIA cohorts, ARS and his amateur attempts at CSI skills probably won't trip up authorities. Now that I'm typing this, I wonder if he saved anything from his computer onto flashdrives or other media and hid them. Again I'd be inclined to say no because I don't think he expected LE to be onto him so quick or for his mom to turn him in.. but we can't be sure. Still just throwing it out. Back to my original question which I've managed to get far away from, those dark web sites, if AS was going to them would they be traceable to LE or do they self erase?

IIRC there was speculation about the uterus being removed because LE couldn't determine sex right away.

I have not seen anything in MSM or that LE has said that states that the uterus was removed.

Some legal stuff about juvenile confessions for Colorado. Sounds like it could be valid as long as a parent was with him and/or if the court finds he was aware he was waiving his rights. If his mother was NOT present, the confession is likely to be thrown out, from what I can determined from the first paragraph.

Not me. I think his confession is b/c mom saw the cross in the news and started putting 2 and 2 together. He couldn't hide it anymore. He told mom, mom called LE, not him.

He confessed b/c they were going to find everything after mom called anyway. They had his DNA.

Did he do this to be "known"? I don't know. I think he may have done this just to see if he could, rather than steal beer or condoms like most teens would.

Oh and the stealing beer comment. We stole beer once from a summer cabin and actually left a note that said "Sorry for taking your beer" ...and left $5 as payment. That is what we did as teens to be rebellious!

Count me among those who is NOT buying the details of his "confession". He killed her right away? In his car? Bull*****. If she was in his car, a relatively enclosed space, why would he need to HOG TIE her? Why would he need to hog tie her PERIOD if he wasn't trying to prevent her from escaping? No sexual assault? Yeah, OK. Am I reading this correctly-he removed her UTERUS? That sick *advertiser censored**. I can only think of ONE reason why a uterus would be removed from a little girl's body, and that is to conceal the sexual assault. Because without getting to explicit here, a little girl has smaller anatomy and it is not uncommon for the cervix to be injured if there is forced sexual penetration. AND AS A FORENSIC EXPERT I'M SURE HE KNEW THAT.

I wish to GOD I could believe that Jessica was killed immediately, and that she wasn't raped by this MONSTER but I do not buy it. A person who has to dismember because MURDER is just not enough on it's own to get his rocks off is a sadistic FREAK.

Oh, and just for the record-I made a post yesterday saying I had compassion for him. This was before I knew ANY of the details, all I knew was that he confessed to his mommy, possibly had an abusive father and was bullied in school. Agreed. The first time I read someone mention it here, they were asked to provide a link to MSM or was it just speculation. I believe they said it was a rumor and they were a local out on CO. There were a couple other posters who said the same, but I haven't seen any article MSM or otherwise to even suggest this.

This case is horrifying enough. It may turn out to be true, but it also may turn out to be a game of telephone rumor spreading.

I do not buy into any of the supposed confession that has been leaked. At some point in the crime, could he have tied her up with rope, certainly plausible. Did he strangle her to death, again possible. Did he do all that while still in her neighborhood, unlikely. So those two things could have happened at some point in time, but the question is when and where ? At what point in the timeline did these and many other things happen ? I think the ME's report will shed some light on this.

I listened in on the early morning Channel 9 live coverage this morning, one of the reporters mentioned LE interviewed him for 6 hours after he turned himself in. So we may have as much as 6 hours of details missing from the simplified (leaked) version of his confession.

I hope LE researches any connection between those youtube video's and AS. My concern is, like others here are also now raising as a possibility, AS may not be alone in this crime, there may be an accomplice still at large in this case. I would also hope LE makes sure to account for all of the fingerprints found in the home or vehicle.

If you look at the property records, the home was purchased by someone else in June 2000 and quit claim deeded to RS in 2003 for no cost. You never know. RS could have found himself a sugar mamma after divorcing MS in 2001, which could explain the lavish vacation digs.

Yes, you can get a lot more home the further you go from Denver. Parker is 20+ miles away from Denver. That home would fetch $2MM+ in Cherry Hills, more in Cherry Creek.

Yes they do. I would never ever go into one of those websites, chatrooms and other places they have set up for this purpose. I've been to some unsavory sites over the years but none of those. I never had an interest. Most of those ppl in there use IP hiding software and etc. Going in there to have a lookieloo is like stapling a target to your back and walking out onto a shooting range. It's a no go in my opinion.
