I get the feeling it happened during the day and the baby saw everything.

Perhaps she left her home willingly with their daughter in his truck and they ended up back at the ranch and LE know this for certain, due to her cell? Hence the search warrant. He did the unspeakable but didn't make a big mess perhaps after the baby was in bed. Maybe it was planned that they spend the night at the ranch while his mother was visiting elsewhere. After the deed is done, he puts her body outside on the ground until he can wrap it up and then put it in the truck? Next day, takes the body somewhere? That would make the dogs hit on both, wouldn't it? Someone correct me if I'm mistaken and that's not possible. Maybe that's why the ground got dug up so close to where his truck was parked. All of this could have been done while the baby slept.

That could also explain the trash that may have been stored away safely prior to anyone knowing she was even missing. Darn, he had so much time to do this, IF he did!

Only thing that nixes this for me are those cinnamon rolls left out! Was dinner supposed to be at KB's house? They go to find a tree in the afternoon and before heading back he says he needs something from the ranch? So many possibilities!

Law enforcement is concerned with this investigation, they aren’t obligated to provide the media with anything.

I don’t really understand the sense of entitlement, from people who think that law enforcement owes them something.

They have a job to do.

Not as simple in the mountain West... Bodies of water are slightly more scarce, and those that are reachable by road are usually very popular destinations and not the ideal place to hide a vehicle. Plus, there's a lot of changing in our water levels since most are fed by snowpack and fluctuate with the seasons. Again, that makes it hard to conceal things. Just some food for thought.

Exactly. Water bodies are popular recreating spots all year round here. I don’t think KB is in a water body.

I wanted to give my thoughts on this very strange case. I strongly believe if law enforcement had anything on her fiancé, he would be done for by now. I also find his behavior very odd but we really don’t know the extent of their relationship. I think if he snapped and murdered Kelsey, he wouldn’t have drove with a dead body in his car to Idaho and send text messages 3 days later after she was last seen. Even if he buried her body somewhere nearby, I just don’t think it’s really plausible to think someone would take the persons purse, keys and phone 800 miles away only to send messages to himself and her boss days later. I really really don’t.

Maybe it's being withheld because it's irrelevant or it's relevant for a different reason. Like what if what she bought plays into whether she left voluntarily or not. It could be important to the timeline? I don't know.

For example, let's say she told her mom, "PF is coming early to pick up the baby and I'm going to pick up some ingredients for x, y, z for PF's mom. I'm going to cook/bake it and PF will pick me up when I'm done. Then after PF takes me to dinner we are going to drop it off with his mom."

Or whatever.

If the ingredients are still there and the item isn't cooked/baked or is only half done, that could say something about the timeline. If the ingredients are gone and no dish is present at the house, that could be evidence that KB left with PF.

There are a multitude of reasons for not releasing any info to the public.

But, what is something that could have been in that bag. That could have DIRECTLY led to PF being so upset that he could have harmed his love?

Unfortunately, through the misdirecting phone calls on the 25th, and no one following up, she was off the radar for 10 days. I'm sure phone calls were made to Kelsey after the 25th, but no one followed up until her mother on December 2nd. FWIW- there are family and friends of mine that I wouldn't follow up if a non-critical phone call wasn't answered- I would just assume they forgot to call back and never think of foul play. People have busy lives.

To disappear on Thanksgiving suggests a spur of the moment situation, IMO.

I see it differently if this was indeed a planned violent act. Thanksgiving could be a “perfect”holiday for this. The aggressor, if familiar with the victim would know well in advance what the victims timeline would be that particular day. It’s the one holiday that the majority of us expect and receive four days off...each year, every year. If your staying put at home, traveling to family/friends or taking a little vacay....all of that is planned and more often then not it’s done before Nov 1st. By the 2nd week into Nov those around you (family, friends, coworkers), for the most part know what your plans are for the holiday....we share! KB’s family was not expecting her home for Thanksgiving. There’s been talk about Soap Lake and a possible planned trip to visit grandma and the distance of that trip being more than a 12 hour drive! KB is a full time working mother with a 2hr commute round trip. I can’t fathom that any trip to visit anyone more than a couple of hours away was planned...with or without her baby. Anyone close to KB, that communicated with her on a regular, or daily basis knew her plans for the holiday in advance....we share! It would be interesting to know if anyone in KB’s life showed up late to Thanksgiving this year (in Colorado) or possibly never showed up? Anyone seem nervous, irritated or unusually tired?

I can't think of how. If he mailed something then the phone would be where he mailed it. And may have shown pings enroute. Or maybe someone trnasported it for him?

I agree that he probably believes himself to be smarter than CW by not doing interviews. But he doesn't realize that that makes him look MORE suspicious.

Would KB as an Adventist avoid “worldly entertainments”? That would cut down on ones social circle I would think.

How far away from a tower in Idaho, could you be, for it to hear a SINGLE ping from a cell phone?
