IMO, since the next hearing after this is in late January, I think so, but there may be more motions today and more hearings between now and then. The attorneys don't like to inform the public what they are going to do, only the judge.

Prosecutors might believe Frazee tried repeatedly to have Berreth killed, either asking three people or the same person three times, speculated Phil Dubois, a longtime Colorado Springs attorney who isn’t involved in the case.

The other possibility is that Frazee is accused of trying to have three people killed, Dubois said.

“It’s a little like an attempt except it involves some other person who would actually do the deed,” Dubois said.

That means the item is so small that it will be destroyed by testing, Dubois said. A droplet of blood, a hair follicle or skin oil left on an object — potentially bearing DNA — are all possibilities.

Fourth Judicial District Judge Lin Billings Vela set a motions hearing for Friday to discuss the request.

The judge ordered prosecutors to provide Frazee’s attorneys with a copy of the arrest affidavit laying out grounds for his arrest. Prosecutors asked for a protective order barring the defense from even discussing the document with their client, prompting the defense to object, calling that unconstitutional. The judge said she will hear arguments Friday.

if it is now in PFs possession could that be the robbery component?

and if so how could LE be confident KB hadn't given it back to PF?
that it was still very much attached to her finger when she was murdered? (from previous discussions stolen property had to be taken from her alive or in the process of the murder/disappearance to be classed robbery iirc??)

IMO, there is misdemeanor robbery and felony robbery. I don't know if the charges make it clear which is being discussed here. I know the word feloniously is mentioned three times here, once I think it was spelled wrong, but maybe if you commit misdemeanor robbery, and kill someone it doesn't matter.

The Times-News has received multiple anonymous tips that the case involves a 32-year-old registered nurse at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center whose Facebook account was recently closed.

St. Luke’s spokeswoman Michelle Bartlome confirmed that law enforcement has contacted the hospital. Bartlome, however, said she “wasn’t in a position to disclose” which agency made contact.

One point that I made before is, we don’t know that CB even made a request to see the baby. If I’m CB, I’m doing the smart thing and waiting a little while longer to get custody spelled out by the court. It was only a month. It’s not like she was used to seeing K every day or even every month.

And a public place versus a private one, same diff. You still have the risk of absconding. LE shows up, asks to see the custody papers, and there aren’t any. Not a good situation for either side to put themselves in, and so I don’t think either side tried. JMHO

We don’t know if CB made a request but it seems to me it would be a natural thing to want to see her upon their arrival in CO IMO unless LE gave her information that stopped her from directly reaching out - if PF had nothing to hide I believe he would want CB to see the baby IMO

I'm so far behind but your quote brought back thoughts of Dellen Millard's "little helper" and gf, Christina Nouga. He killed Laura Babcock his previous gf. Her body has not been found as that was the precise time he purchased the animal incinerator. He then went on to kill Tim Bosma.

Chilling thought came over me, was PF planning to "off" his mom next? DM shot his father in the eye to make it look like a suicide so he could inherit what was left of his father's fortune. In his case though, that was his first murder. I wouldn't put anything past this sick puppy either especially if what some here fear is true, that he actually resented his mother for holding him back. The two people in his way to respectability and ability to "launch" with his new gf and the ranch, KB and his mom.

I’ve been a member of this incredible group of brilliant people but rarely post. I was following another thread speaking of the alleged nurse and her Facebook page. Wouldn’t someone under that kind of scrutiny shut it down? The fact that it is still up made me think she may not have access to the ability to shut it down. I thought this was oddly indicative of her being “held” either in a protective way or in custody. JW what others thought of this. Not sure if it was discussed.

IMO it is not very smart to get a lawyer, it is not very smart to run the press off of private land, it is not very smart to avoid a press conference seeking info on your missing partner, it is not very smart to hire or try to hire someone to kill your partner, it is not very smart to have someone text your partner's boss on Sunday and say your partner won't be showing up in 15 hours (and not give a reason).

He probably used another phone for all his communications with his accomplices. Maybe had one especially for IN in the past. She may have taken that phone as well as KBs for “disposal”. If so I hope they found all of them.

LE probably verified with the hospital IN’s work schedule during times in question....
It will be interesting to find out if IN was off work for the holiday weekend and spent it in CO ( I know it was reported she was there Thanksgiving day but I haven’t heard beyond that). Could be she went back to Idaho that Sunday, turned the phone on once she got to Gooding, sent the text, then disposed of it. Phone off until that time.

Another key will be the cellphone communications between her own phone and PF’s phone. It would be difficult for the two of them not to mess up here. If they conspired, police are going to find telltale signs in the pattern of calls/texts between the two. At a certain point there will either be too much activity, or not enough. IMO

If there was any communication between them about the crime, they may have used different phones. Can data still be retrieved from those pay as you go track phones without having the actual phones? In other words, if they had those phones and destroyed them, and they were never found, could LE still somehow get the data from them?

If she deleted the texts forensics could usually find them. I have actual professional experience working with retrieving text messages from iPhones not sure of others.

Agree, all along I've suspected this.
I found an old listing of his name on a list of farriers certified to
trim/shoe horses using a well known style. He listed his phone
number which is a land line at his mother's home.

I found this odd, as all my farriers have given clients their
cell phone #'s so they can have immediate access. Farriers'
income can be affected by clients having quick and efficient
access. Nothing worse than having your horse throw or bend
a shoe and your farrier is unreachable. I found this unprofessional.
