Something I remember from the beginning of the case. KB's mother mentioned her looking very different from her usual self that morning in Safeway - no makeup, hair not done her usual way.

While KB might have simply been tired in the morning, I wonder if she was scared by someone/went to Safeway against her own will. Then, this lack of typical for her grooming might have been a possible signal.

Maybe these cinnamon rolls were left out intentionally. Or, there was something odd about the recipe, was it for nonexistent dish, or something KB already knew how to make?

Anyone know where "the BIG HOUSE" PF will wind up?(Hopefully, Fingers crossed!) From what I have seen, the Teller County Jail looks no bigger than my post office.

And this is exactly why I think PF just wanted KB out of the picture. Argh....I feel vile even typing that. I don’t think he was the beneficiary to anything.....he wanted his life as he wanted it to be so he just disposed of KB.

ETA: MOO
Yes, he wanted her "gone." But, I believe the murder was motivated by wanting sole custody of baby K. Sadly, the very one who will comfort KB's family, was likely the reason for her murder. I hate saying it, but if KB had never become pregnant, maybe he could have just told her it was over and walked away. But not once the baby was born. I have a lot racing through my head about all of this, including IN (KK)'s role. What she knew, what she didn't know. I suspect she is a victim more than anything, but I could be wrong. If she was truly a major player in all this she would be behind bars, singing a tune for a lesser charge. Since she is still free, I get the feeling she knows a lot but didn't participate a lot. JMO

Still makes me think she endured a beating. “Fatal injuries”, in the plural. I rule out gunshot, that’s too messy.
Per the large items removed from her home, could be no dna, it might be only cleaning fluids found.
Think back to nurse Melanie McGuire (machete melanie).
Iirc, they cd find no dna for her missing husband, two kids or Mel, in the family home. NONE.
I don’t rule out gunshot because it was too “messy,” I think it’s unlikely because it would have been too loud.

I think this was messy, and blood is what they found.

I think, like most busy women, she rushed to the store before tending to her normal “beauty protocol”. After the store, she MAY have intended to do her hair & makeup.
Perhaps she was out or low of something for the baby & it was a “must go now” moment.
With her mom so far away she prob wasn’t aware of K going out w/o looking absolutely perfect. But, she still looked perfect to me.

I wondered if the civil case might tie up funds/assets that PF might otherwise use for his defense?

I have zero clue if this is a possibility. Hoping one of our attorneys can weigh in.
I'm not an atty but I think the goal is not a financial one. The Berreths are after information that would be learned in discovery.

If blood, they would have ripped the place to pieces during the initial search, imo.
What say you?
If it was obvious, they certainly would have.

My feeling is that they were given specific locations to search by someone who is talking.

Locations that either weren’t looked at closely during the initial search, or ones that required some work in order to examine.

Something like plumbing, under flooring, or an elevated location.

I don’t think it was a coincidence that immediately following this final search, law enforcement said that this was now a murder investigation, and Kelsey was killed in her home.

Not if it <blood, or tissue> was well hidden, ie scrubbed, painted over OR it was in such an obscure location they wouldn't have known/seen it without a 'tip' from a person involved?? MOO

ETA: Both samples

My point exactly. Honestly, I don't know how succinylcholine even got mentioned here, unless someone knows more than we do?
I mentioned ketamine awhile back seeing he is a farrier and owns livestock and pets and no doubt it's being sold and used recreationally by rodeo insiders while brainstorming theories. I have not heard anything else besides others brainstorming theories.

Well LE didn’t arrest PF until after searching KBs townhouse and coming out with brown paper bags. They found bodily fluids there, for sure, to arrive at the conclusion that’s where she died. KK being an RN might have not been as squeamish with some aspects of whatever happened in there. I don’t think they are actively looking for the body because of something they found in that home that may of convinced them they wouldn’t need to. JMO based of the fact that nobody is organizing search parties, etc. I wonder if KB knew of KK or if it was a complete surprise to her that there was another woman involved with KB. Speculation

Yes, I do agree someone provided info “the walls were washed with bleach, then polished with Orange Glo” or something very specific. Moo. I don’t think LE cut drywall or furniture at random.

If a lot of clean up was performed, is it possible someone parked elsewhere, another day, & walked in?

Added that they spent hours in KB's home walking out with evidence. The news crews heard banging, they brought in a large ladder, that would be indicative to me of a large mess that had been cleaned and the residual was embedded in the walls.
