How on earth would Mrs R stumble upon a FB post about a missing woman named Kelsi...UNLESS she was doing some sleuthing of her own because she believed M the first time about KK being solicited? More importantly, how is it that M, or Mrs R even, did not report to police right away? I could never laugh that off. I would have to call police. I do believe both M and Mrs R believed it and that they did some talking in that little town. I think more people know details than we might think.
The noose is tightening around KKs neck.

Re others in town talking. That is the one thing that was mentioned at the end of article 2- since that article more people have come forward with info.

Insane. Have they never heard "the house of the loud talker leaks"

I think BFF is a smokescreen and probably a fake.

I think KK has been dealing directly with the R's and just avoiding showing up at their office.

There is no reason to add the BFF to the mix, other than to introduce the potential for some misinterpretation or misstatement of what KK is relating to the R's.

There may be other real people who are friends of KK, but they are not participating in this charade, although they may very well be acting on her behalf with the concealment of the phone, the purse or whatever else KK returned with.[/deleted

Do you think the info leaks to her GF were a plan she made up (herself without PF) to protect herself if she was caught and it got out of control or she just can't stop herself from talking.
I'm leaning towards she can't stop talking..
I think it was genuine, as she was taken aback by what he wanted her to do.

She was solicited three times, which would seem to indicate that she said no during the first two attempts.

If you are planning the perfect crime, you aren’t focused on protecting yourself by telling others beforehand.

It can only hurt you in the long run.

I don’t think she’s this diabolical criminal mastermind, but I do think she was more involved than we currently know.

The phone was the least of it.

And yeah, she’s definitely a talker.

How deprived do you have to be to go to Sonic with a deceased person's phone in your possession? You know it is turned off so you cannot hear her Mom calling. Dear Lord.

Also, we don’t know if CB, bro/BIL/friends called/texted or how many times they might have, during the phone off period. I find it impossible to believe NO ONE called KB.
We know CB spoke to her 2X T-giving. What she did not say is how many times she reached out only to get VM.

I think KB met KK at some point, or at least knew of her. Jmo

What I don't get about the R's interview is:

If they gave KK (via BFF) 24 hours to go to the police, why didn't they follow up? Not even when there had been major news about the mobile phone ping near Idaho - surely that would ring the bells that KK had not been talking to the police? Or didn't they find it at all odd that she had changed her phone number - why do that if you are not involved in the case? December 17 seems rather late for the realization that KK had not been talking IMO.

And at what point did they learn that KK had the phone?

I just don't get this case, not at all.

Dec 17 was the realization that Patrick was guilty. He was caught secretly dumping items. And that was the date Mrs R called the FBI.

So we know FBI were crawling all over Hansen, Id. w/ search
warrants, etc. Has anyone seen anything about them searching
places in Gooding, Id.? Several players have ties to Gooding,
which is where the original phone pings eminated from.

I think it as a cya situation. They never would have come forward unless
1) LE went to them first or
2) there is something in this for them

The purpose of the phone was likely to set the stage that Kelsey left on her own.

The location of that cell phone activity would sell this story, while simultaneously setting up an alibi for PF (if his phone was still in Colorado).

He thought he came up with the perfect plan, but you’re right, he was thwarted by the plan of his own making.

Right, I know that is what THEY wanted to achieve by having her phone in Idaho. But, leaving her car there is a clear oversight. How did she get to Idaho? My thoughts when someone's phone pings hundreds of miles away, a mystery message comes through, their vehicle is still at home, and now they are missing is abduction. He cannot be so stupid to think that just because her phone pings there and a message comes through that people are going to not think someone else could've sent it.

What he was conjuring is a harder story to buy then him simply coming over to her house to drop off the baby and not being able to find her.

Well they are talking.

Part of me thinks the Rs are out there with approval of LE/CBI/FBI to scare someone. It's not a money thing or a publicity thing as they stayed with local media vs a bigger station.

I think the Rs are telling the truth as they know, and it's a case of knowing now what you knew then.

I know, it's crazy. But I'm trying to figure out a way the Nov 26th date makes sense. Maybe Mrs R only knew a first name and the info was bothering her so she typed in "Colorado and Kelsie" in the facebook search to see any posts made by mutual friends of her and M? And maybe tons of posts came up about the other missing Kelsie? Perhaps she didn't look much further into the search results nor the dates of anything but immediately called M? It would all be down hill from there for KK for sure... Another thing-- the other missing Kelsie is missing from Pueblo and pregnant so IF Mrs. R said she saw something about a missing Kelsie from Pueblo, CO that might be why M would include the info back about KB being a pilot-- because that is where KB worked. And there were early rumors in this case about KB possibly being pregnant. Perhaps those rumors about KB were from people mixing up KB with KS?
MOO.

Absolutely. The more complicated the coverup, the more likely you are to be caught.

The simpler the better. Fortunately, he isn’t as smart as he thinks he is.

Where can the interviews be seen at?

This is the second one. Will find the first later tonite

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Joe and Patty Rockstahl have never met Krystal Lee, the 32-year-old nurse they say is being investigated by the FBI for her alleged involvement in the Kelsey Berreth murder investigation.

In an interview exclusive to Gray Television and CBS News, the Rockstahl's tell KMVT about their employee Michelle, Krystal’s best friend and the conversations they were privy to. Michelle has been an employee at Rockstahl Law Office since spring of last year.

People have been critical of the Rockstahl's for a delay in reporting, but they want to emphasize that they had little to no information initially and had nothing to provide law enforcement.

After Patty saw a Facebook post about a missing Colorado mom that sounded familiar, she delivered an ultimatum on Nov. 26 for her employee Michelle to pass along to Krystal.

“I said, ‘Would you please text your friend Krystal and ask her if this is that woman?,” Patty said. She responded quickly and said that it was. “I said, 'Now I’m very concerned. So your friend has 24 hours to go to the police, or I’m calling them.'”

On Nov. 27, Patty learned Krystal got a new phone number and was told Krystal had spoken with law enforcement.

“I don’t know why she didn’t, I don’t know if she was scared,” Patty said. “That’s what got reported back to me. That she had gone to the police. I didn’t know until almost two weeks later that she hadn’t.”

After this realization, Patty contacted the Colorado Bureau of Investigations on Dec. 17 through the number that was posted at the bottom of Cheryl Berreth’s televised plea for help. Michelle immediately called Krystal to let her know, but she wasn’t surprised.

“The FBI was at Krystal’s house,” Patty said. “They had a search warrant and someone of the FBI was at her property. She knew that Michelle would more than likely get called because there was so many phone calls and text messages back and forth in fact some about this incident.”

That's where the Rockstahl's say Kelsey's phone comes into play. When it produced a signal near Gooding, Idaho just days after she was last seen.

"She had the phone," said Patty. "She was probably instructed to send those texts by Patrick but that's-- there's nobody else that could've sent those texts to my knowledge."

The Rockstahls say the two are as close as sisters, but Michelle was not involved in Kelsey’s presumed death.

“She didn’t go with Krystal anywhere to Colorado or anything,” Joe said. “She just listened to her friend.”

However the extent of Krystal's involvement is still unclear. She has not been formally charged with any crime related to Kelsey Berreth's disappearance.
As a lawyer, Joe says charges could still be coming.

"I think she's done enough where she could be charged with aiding and abetting," said Joe.

Despite threats and several weeks of stress, Patty says she doesn’t regret making the call.

“It’s tough for everyone,” she said. “It’s been a very emotional situation we’ve all lost some sleep over this but I’m sure nothing compared to Kelsey’s family.”

By mid-December police announced they were offering a $25,000 reward for information that lead to the location or safe return of Kelsey Berreth.

The Rockstahls tell KMVT they are not accepting any reward money.

They hope that if there’s anyone else watching, who may know something that they have the courage to come forward.

“Be honest, tell somebody, speak up,” Patty said.

Since KIMVT initial aired the Rockstahl's experience, KMVT has been told a couple other people have come forward with information about the case and they say that those details have been given to the authorities.

On Sunday, Jan. 13, you’ll hear about Krystal and Patrick’s relationship and her time spent in Colorado with him.

Yeah well I don’t think anyone has credited him with being too smart.
