I agree we have no proof and her telling her Mom she has plans with him for the Holiday shows she at least wanted to be close friends- but her buying her own Condo/townhome in May tells me that they were not “together “ and likely not getting married... jmo
That being said I being said - I can buy the story that he was “dumped “ or that at minimum she was moving on... moo

KB making a home purchase without PF being a partner in that acquisition speaks volumes about the status of their relationship, IMO.

KB was the grown-up in the room. She knew it, too.

I realize that many people, including law-enforcement, believe KB‘s body may have been changed beyond recognition. But I still have a feeling that it was put intact into some sort of container or wrapping and dropped in the forest where it would be unlikely to be found by hikers.

I know there’s talk of incineration and perhaps my feelings just don’t want to go there, because it’s going to be difficult enough for the family to receive any kind of remains, let alone tiny pieces of bone and ash, if that.

Leaving a body intact (if done carefully) leaves far less wayward DNA to check. Even hikers become lost in the woods and their remains aren’t found for years. I feel like a body dump is what happened with Kelsey.

I hesitate to speculate on any of this since members of the family may be reading the posts. It must be excruciating for them to hear what we all have to say.

The murderers had quite a lot of time to scope out a location and to travel there. But something about the whole event, Even though the desire to kill had been there for a long time, it may have been a spur of the moment decision that left more clues than planned.

I still think KK played a huge part in this murder.

Does it ever come back?! Please tell me it does. I have a 5, 3 and 1 year old and feel like my brain power has gotten progressively smaller. Some days, I don’t even know what I’m talking about!

Although I’ve been following much of this case on WS since the beginning, I remember I missed part of a thread when there was discussion on how a body could have been taken out of the house (different sized containers etc.) So, it’s possible that this has already been theorized and I missed it.

*Now, I’ve already explained why I think CB mentioned the Christmas tree, so PLEASE, let’s not start up that whole discussion again. I already mentioned that I believe CB mentioned the Christmas tree just to show that KB was was looking forward to Christmas even though she did not yet have a tree up. (I felt this was in effort to shut down the suicide speculation). *

With Colorado being a very “outdoorsy” state, I don’t know if it’s not very common for people to have artificial trees, but I would think some people use them?

Personally, I grew up having a fresh tree every year. But one year when my kids were very young, and we were going to be out West for a wedding during Christmastime, we accepted my in-laws offer of an artificial tree they were no longer using. That way we didn’t have to worry about the tree drying out while we were out of town etc. In subsequent years, to my chagrin, we have not gone back to a fresh tree.

Now, I’m assuming artificial trees originally come in a big box. But ours was given to us in a big bag with handles. Dark green. Tarp-like material. Durable. Big. And I hate to type this, but all of a sudden it occurred to me tonight how it’s very much like a body bag, with the zipper closure. Because of the bag’s construction, it seems like it would be easy enough for a man PF’s size, to sling overhead into a dumpster. Also, I just don’t think neighbors would think anything of seeing an artificial tree BOX going in or out of a house IF someone happened to get caught by an unexpected onlooker. (Though unfortunately, I strongly doubt any such witnessing took place, no matter how the body was removed.)

Anyway, this is just a random thought that popped in my head tonight, that I hadn’t considered before. Forgive me if I’m bringing up old conversation. I guess the landfill search news got me thinking again about how KB’s body might have been removed/transported.

Absolutely possible. As a Colorado native, all families atleast try a live one, but many choose artificial. "Outdoorsy" or not, pine needles still stick in carpet, cut trees are hard to keep wet & healthy with lower humidity inside wtih furnaces running, and babies/toddlers are a huge consideration for all parents. I do know some that get a real tree every year but the vast majority was artificial. AND, we now have a heavy well constructed box with a tarp like zip outer cover for our newer artificial tree.

Alright, now that you spurred my response I feel dumb for responding to a picture of the dump a couple days ago. I said it appears to be over the "green" of compostable pile of the dump with the big chipper machinery, not household trash. Duh. Oh Dear Lord

It comes back, full force. I promise... It takes awhile, because when they are so young, we are distracted by just trying to keep them alive. That in itself is a full time job.

Hang in there, it does!!! My youngest is 8 and oldest is 21 so my brain has been in a fog for longer than it hasn’t....I think I’m finally coming around. Engaging on WS with so many intelligent and thoughtful people certainly helps to trigger those neglected parts of the mind!

I do not understand why they don't charge her with accessory after the fact, throw her keister in jail and then make a deal for reduced charges in exchange for full cooperation.

The only reason I can think of not to do that asap is if they really do have strong suspicions that she is complicit up to her eyeballs in the planning and/or execution of the murder.

This drone view made me wonder is there a organized group of Drone Droids that do search and rescue ? What a great service that would provide when looking for Missing People and also for bodies. Think of the area you could cover with say 25 drones flying formation. Come on Drone Droids Unite

As I sit here watching a blizzard, I can't help but think there might still be a cast of thousands to find and interrogate. I just have never seen a group of women like this with all the talking they have done! And in the middle, one man who refuses to talk.
