A weird question that really bugs me is this, how many people in your life do you seriously know that you could ask to kill someone for you? Think about it. You have to believe they are capable of killing. Right? This is what is nuts. I seriously think, we may have a lot to learn about the dynamics here.

I think KB was a victim because of this triangle.
This tells me everything I need to know about how controlling PF was and how passive and codependent KK was; and he knew it too, or he wouldn’t have asked her to do it. I think you’d be surprised at how this dysfunctional dynamic is a ton more common than you realize, yes including the idea of murder. Women still have a long way to go to get smarter when it comes to avoiding these kinds of guys.

Yes, though I tend to think the business of ranching has more adult children living with their parents (on the farm) in order to carry on the family business. It benefits all financially. I’ve visited many ranches, and saw grown daughters and sons living at the family ranches, carrying on many of the duties that their parents had grown weary of doing. When a potential spouse came into the picture...that is where the fork in the road splits. Of course it wouldn’t be what most of us what choose to do but I can understand why some in that profession do. Perhaps PF was SF’s only hope of the family business continuing and she sold it to him as such..?

What normally happens here in Montana, is that parents "retire" and either go live in an condo in town, or they buy a trailer to live in on the ranch. The main house goes to the family.

Oh my, don’t sell us short. Women aren’t so stupid. I don’t run in those circles...the kind that discuss murdering your partner or asking someone to do it. I believe it is quite rare and I never want to know anyone who would even think of it!

Well women love being romanced don’t they? But I am glad to say I don’t personally know of one who would stick around if solicited to murder her competition. That is when you RUN!
Well of course it is an extreme. But I don’t feel we’re dealing with reasonable people here.

I have seen financial reports of people who are self employed, detailed Excel spreadsheets, that show expenditures, profit, loss, that to the penny, show a consistent loss every month for self employment. With zero assets. They lease a brand new Audi, business expense, new cell phone, business expense, on and on...every dime spent on gas, business expense....it is quite interesting.

You would be surprised how many real estate agents have their families on Medicaid, and are eligible for food stamps because they have zero income. It is maddening.

And an excellent way to avoid paying child support. These men seem to enjoy their "cleverness", at avoiding child support. One guy, who flies to Hong Kong, first class, on a consistent basis, shows "negative" income every month.
Yeah, we all know the type...........but I think child support in Colorado is uniformly levied based on statistics of the average cost to support a child. They don't care what a parent's income is, or what assets they try to hide. If a parent who has child support payment due or delinquent pays ten dollars for lotto tickets, and wins a dollar back on a scratcher, the buck can be attached. IMO

I think that "the way of life" is what gets carried on from generation to generation today. Most modern ranching operations are very complex, and actually include multiple businesses that can be dissolved, incorporated, bought, sold, etc. If a rancher couldn't share their way of life with child's spouse, it would seem to greatly complicate the mechanics of passing it on to the next generation. IMO

Nurse in missing-mom case of Kelsey Berreth to plead guilty

Krystal Lee, 32, is scheduled to appear in a Colorado courtroom this week to enter a plea deal with prosecutors, according to two of Lee's relatives who spoke anonymously because the deal hasn't been publicly announced. Family members said Lee has been cooperating with investigators, who have been looking into allegations Lee may have disposed of evidence.

It's not yet clear what charge or charges Lee is expected to plead guilty to, or whether she'd face jail time. Attempts to reach Lee's attorney have been unsuccessful.

A spokeswoman for District Attorney Dan May would not confirm or comment on any potential plea, but she did confirm that Lee has a court date set for Friday, Feb. 8, in Teller County.

"This case is under seal," said Lee Richards, a spokeswoman for Colorado's 4th Judicial District Attorney's office.

Patrick Frazee was arrested in December and charged with Berreth's murder and three counts of solicitation to commit murder. He has not entered a plea.
