I think KK's statements are the sort of usual self-serving lies that liars tell. I believe they decided to kill KB together and she wanted to get rid of KB as badly as PF did. PF tried to manipulate her into doing it, but she knew she was physically incapable of beating KB to death, and we only have KK's word that she didn't poison the coffee. I can't imagine KB would drink it, probably said thanks and threw it away, as anyone in their right mind would. So PF continues pushing KK to do it for him, she drives down to do it but knows she has no good way to get KB under control. He sees a chance on TG and does it, but there's really no plan because both PF ad KK were trying to get each other to do it. PF tells KK, I did your part now you get down here and clean up the mess. I think PF originally thought KK would commit the murder to make it look like a robbery, so there wouldn't be any possibility of his being seen at KB's condo. I also think PF was going to make sure KK would get caught. He would have gotten a twofer. I do not believe KK knew that the phones were going to lead LE to her. Like most people, she knows cell phones can be traced, but she thought she was smarter than LE. I also don't believe she left blood evidence for LE to find. I think once she left the condo, she was afraid she'd be seen going back to finish.

ETA MOO

Now THIS makes some sort of sense to me! I'll put it in the words of Cindy Anthony - KK told some "mistruths."

How many honestly think KK left evidence specifically so that LE would have a path back to her? I don’t think there’s many if anyone that thinks that.

I absolutely don't believe that croc of you know what and IMO, neither does LE. She lied to them in the beginning and wouldn't surrender her phone, IIRC.

Just a thought, as twisted as this whole case is, nothing would surprise me at this point.

The whole thing screams overkill.

What if PF carried out the murder and then KK fired the gun at the corpse per PF’s request (or her own idea) so they were tied to it together should any physical evidence be recovered or should she decide to talk?
You could be right. KK was very clearly present at the burning
and 'observed' the "lump" still present after the plastic melted.

If a bullet casing were found w/ the burned remains, would this lead to additional charges against KK? How would this
change any charges currently listed?

Info from people who know PF:
“He worked on my horses for a real short time till he punched one in the gut with a rasp and that was about the last time I let him work on my horses,” -MG

'It's a characteristic that was ongoing for years. Anytime he was at a rope and his horse didn't act right, he'd rip on his face, kick him. In the community, we were all at ropings and stuff, but if the horse doesn't do exactly what it's supposed to do you don't just beat them.' -MG

'One time we were at a rodeo in Cripple Creek and he got mad because his horse didn't do good and somebody didn't heel just right to help him get in the money and he got so mad he left out of Cripple Creek Rodeo, flipped his horse trailer with his horse in it and almost killed that horse.
'He got mad, tries to get his vehicle out of there and there's too many cars tightly packed in. Lots of people were there. -MG

'He was in a rage of being mad and angry, because the heeler didn't heel and they lost out the money. It was kind of a sad deal, especially trying to get the horse out that was traumatic for everybody.' -MG

A former girlfriend of PF declined to speak to the press but her partner commented saying that he knew Frazee to be aggressive with horses and dogs but that he did not beat his girlfriends.
“He cheated on her while she was in the hospital, take that for what it’s worth,” the man said of his current partner’s former relationship with Frazee

'Patrick is a horseshoer, I heard once he was thumping on the horse "saying this is how you've got to do it," that horse reared up and kicked him right in the forehead, he got a bunch of stitches and his [then] girlfriend hauled him to the hospital to get stitches.' -High School Classmate of PF

'Oh yeah, he's a recluse for sure. I haven't seen him in 10 years or so.' -High School Classmate of PF

A neighbor heard 'mixed things' about Frazee's alleged rough behavior with animals.
He was quiet and shy. He had his own friends circle and stayed close to his friends,' he said.
'He did come across, "I'm a big tough cowboy." But that's that cowboy way, got be strong.
'That's how he was raised, he raised horses. I think if you're raised country that's normal, if you're raised city it's going to seem harsh. It's not wrong in his eyes. Sometimes there's neglect and over abuse yes, he'd tread the fine line on it I'd say. You've got make a horse submit to what you want to do. You've got to be kind of firm. You shouldn't hit them.' --Former Neighbor HF

Two friends of Patrick defended him and rejected any suggestion he was cruel towards animals:

'He's an old fashioned cowboy. He's just old school, he does things the old way. He shoes horses modern, but he trains horses the way people used to do it, I wouldn't say that he's cruel or not. He's a stand up real good guy. I've just known him for years and he's a great person.'
The friend said he had not met Frazee's fiancée but added: 'I know the day I saw him he was a great dad to the daughter and he's a good guy. He was fine. --Man who saw PF shoe horses in Sept.

'I know him, when we had horses he used to trim our horses hooves. He was a very nice young man, I knew him all growing up, we used to go to the Gymkhana and the rodeos when he was younger. I've known him since 2003 and I never saw him do anything inappropriate or out of order.' -DR, runs the propane store

"I've always considered him to be a gentle soul. Soft spoken and just really down to Earth and practical." “couldn’t imagine him doing anything that would harm anyone.” -Friend, SO

They were engaged but did not have a wedding date set

"I mean they had plans, you know, they were planning to find a place for them to live and so forth and the economy with prices dropping out...Kelsey's fiance has some cattle and stuff and prices were poor and so the money just wasn't available as soon as they had hoped, but they make it work."-- KB's mom

As we have a little bit of a lull in the thread, I am going back to the top of the thread to refresh my memory and some stuff. Questions/comments

1) for some reason I had always assumed there were two bathrooms. Thank you for this information that it only had one bathroom as I had missed that, and had assumed one was upstairs and one was downstairs when they were talking about blood in the bathroom.

2) her parents were hay farmers, and that is where he put her body. That to me is such a slam, along the lines of him telling her mother that they had lunch at Cracker Barrel, which was a favorite place of one of the family members of hers.

3) Is PF's mom retired, or has it been reported in mainstream media what type of nurse she is or where she works? (or now on leave *cough*)

4) has it been reported in mainstream media what level his brother is at in law enforcement?

5) I looked up where Garfield County is, (cousin has worked for the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office see screenshot), and noticed it is right above Grand Junction where KKL phone pinged. It reminded me, has anybody ever done a visual map for us of the trip she must have taken to get back home? I live on the other side of the country and can't get an idea of it.

When KK was caught and confronted on the lies she told to investigators she then agreed to be truthful with them. At some point they came to an agreement -- Plea bargain. We do not know any details of the plea bargain, but I am somewhat certain it entails truthful statements from KK here on out. If she doesn't follow through with her end of the agreement (and vice versus) the plea bargain can be revoked. How is that unethical?

Just because a plea bargain has been entered into and agreed upon does not make it a done deal. I do not believe that the prosecution is deliberately trying to get KK to mess up. They do know she has lied. If during the remainder of the investigation they discover additional blatant lies then they may consider withdrawing the plea. IMO -- Completely legal and ethical.

Day Before He Was Arrested in Case of Missing Fiancée, What Colorado Dad Told a Client
The day before his arrest in the murder of his still-missing fiancée, a Colorado man gave no indication that he was worried.

To the contrary, Patrick Frazee thought that as the investigation ramped up and calls flooded his cell phone, client Clinton Cline might have trouble getting through — and so Frazee reached out first, sharing a new cell number with Cline, who worked alongside Frazee to care for a protected herd of wild donkeys in the small town of Cripple Creek.

A new number on Dec 20th.

Kelsey Berreth murder conspiracy fueled by affair between Patrick Frazee, Idaho nurse, documents say

On Dec. 20, Lee and her attorney met with Colorado Bureau of Investigation Agent Gregg Slater and other law enforcement officers at the Colorado Springs Police Department headquarters.

The bush drum had worked, it seems.

And that wasn't even the phone that she had previously. Because the day that she got back, she burned that phone in her front yard if I recall correctly. Is that right?

Perhaps she was concerned that all of her applications and email and Facebook Etc was connected to her old accounts that they could easily get? Perhaps that's why she was hesitant.

Also, her husband gave her email address that he knew of for application signups excetera, but my guess is she had a couple of throw away email accounts also. I hope they have them all with Google.

In another case I followed, they said that when you buy a burner phone, you have to sign up with an email address or a credit card or such so that it can be tracked that way as far as who owns the phone.

does anybody have experience and knowledge in that area? They could have tracked all of her burner phones through such?

E.g. if they had Tower dumps they would not be able to subpoena each and every owner unless they had an owner that they wanted more information on?

yeah I totally agree think she was ordered to clean "the mess" because he did the deed..which he had decided earlier was her job to do and she didn't.
And I also totally agree that the coffee was "poisoned"..I mean why bother otherwise? Why go to starbucks to buy a drink you don't want and drive to KB's house, knock on the door, make up more BS and give her the drink?
And how do you poison a drink with ambien anyhow...just put way too much in it? I would think you need a TON of it in that drink to kill someone. Maybe I'm wrong..I wouldn't know I'm not a murderer.
good lord and Auntie K in the car...where in the world do all of these people come from? I hope the prosecution drags KKs/PFs whole families up there to testify just so everyone can see them.

I think I must be missing something.
Why In the world would they even consider not have KK testify? I don’t even know why that’s a question.
IMO you wanna live throw absolutely EVERYTHING you have at this heartless murderous *advertiser censored*. Why hold anything back? Even if you think you could get a conviction without her ....WHY would you even try?

It’s not like you can go back later and say “Sorry your honor, can we start over because we left some stuff out but now we think we need it“.
I am not a lawyer, I’m may not be that smart, but that seems like a really bad plan to me.

I want every single bad thing this man has ever done thrown at him. I want everything to stick. Right down to every bad story about his character, every parking violation, every overdue library book. Get it all out there. Leave no stone unturned.

And if this evil woman can provide those details? Bring it on.
