And if the sucker decides to plead GUILTY, do not stand up and yell, "Hallelujah!" It buys you a disorderly conduct every time.

If you slip and jump up and say Hallelujah plz say, in the best Texas drawl you can muster, " Hallelujah You SOB" we won't hold a disorderly against you.:D

You know, I gave that family (excluding PF, of course) the benefit of the doubt until Ma F pleaded the fifth. That did it for me. Same for KK until her deal and the AA became public. These people are sick to the core.

I have no doubt that baby K will remain with the B's until the trial. My greatest fear concerns the off chance that that despicable monster is found "not guilty" because there's some juror that isn't right in the head. I pray the prosecution can weed them out. Would a judge be able to deny him his parental rights under those circumstances? The mere thought of him EVER regaining custody of baby K makes me want to vomit

On the bright side (if there is one), some cases I've followed have actually taken 2 years to come to trial. That would mean little K is safe until then and hopefully PF will get exactly what he deserves, LWOP. He actually deserves worse, but we all know that will never happen :( MOO

That scares me, too. I can't imagine the God awful stress the Berreths are under with it hanging over their heads. Our best hope is that the DNA from the teeth belongs to Kelsey. If it does, his being locked up forever becomes a slam dunk.

LWOP might be served up with a dash of KARMA every few days. Ya know what they say about ole KARMA .

Wow. I just had some insight into my self as a grandmother.

I love my little 3 yr old granddaughter more than I thought possible. She is my heart.

And after reading upthread about what would happen if the killer was found not guilty— I had a sudden thought

If, God forbid, my SIL was on trial for killing my daughter, and we had custody of my grand baby——

I would probably be thinking of where I could hide her just in case. I know that’s illegal—-but would I be able to hand her over to the man that killed my daughter if he walked away free? I am not sure I’d be able to do that

It was just s weird thought that hit me suddenly. What would I do if I saw the trial was going poorly?

Another grandmother over here having the same thoughts, Katy.

They'd have to hunt me down and rip her from my cold dead hands.

I've thought the same thing. I'd be making those plans right now and be ready to disappear. Thing is, that's not easy. I just couldn't imagine handing baby K over to that monster or his family. NO WAY.

Prosecutor says Kenney has agreed to plead guilty to one count of tampering with physical evidence, a class 6 felony, with an open sentence. Judge says WHEN sentencing happens, she could get 12-18 months in prison, community corrections, or probation. Could also be 90 days in El Paso County jail. Aggravated sentence could be attached at end of trial. Kenney will testify against Frazee in exchange for her plea deal. Won't be sentenced till that prosecution is complete. She is barred from speaking with press under deal. Monday June 24th at 11 AM there will be a review hearing for Kenney. They will differ charges at that point & will set up a periodic review every 90 days or so. Prosecution wants plea papers kept from public. Judge grants motion.

Ooops...

Just noticed the decorum order for today's hearing has a major boo boo!

It lists respondent Kelsey as "Kelsey Marie Frazee" o_O

Don't think anybody in the Berreth camp will appreciate that!

Could someone please link me to the copy of the birth certificate showing the child's last name is Berreth. I looked thru the documents posted but must have missed it. TIA!

I don't recall any confirmation on legal name of baby K.

Sorry, you won't find baby K birth certificate on this site. She's a minor, and victim, and (sleuthing) her info violates WS TOS.

Meanwhile, search teams will continue to sift through trash at the Midway Landfill looking for #KelseyBerreth’s remains. We learned yesterday crews have gone through ~40% of search area. Investigators believe Frazee burned her body & might have dumped it at landfill @KKTV11News

I still don't think they will ever find any part of her body at the landfill. They may however find other items related to this case. Kelsey's case has always reminded me of the Helle Crafts case years ago when her husband put her body thru a woodchipper and the only parts found at the riverbank where he was seen were strands of blond hair, skin and a fingernail. The river took all else.
