I think it's pretty common, especially in recent years, for them to wear bullet proof vests. He's been wearing one for every appearance, hasn't he?

They wouldn't want him getting killed, after all.

I wonder if he has a choice in the matter.

Imo

I hope PF has no choice in any matter from now until his dying breath.

We see what happens when PF is given the opportunity to exercise his free will.

He's a vicious animal.

Cage him.

JMO.

Patrick Frazee murder hearing: 'Bludgeoning of cow' allegations made

SABBMFA:

Since Sept. 25, Frazee’s defense team has received 6,000 pages of new evidence in the case, including 220 photographs, 45 gigabytes of files extracted from computers and 1,000 pages of reports from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said Frazee’s public defender, Adam Steigerwald. They also recently received more than 18 hours of jail phone call recordings.

“A couple things trickling in late happens,” Steigerwald said. “I’m talking about a year’s worth of work that I’ve gotten in the last two weeks.”

Guess Dan May wasn't kidding when he said they had a "plethora of evidence," was he?

And this is just the most recent evidence...there's more.
Much, much, more.

Poor Steigerwald.

Somebody needs to explain to him that this is what happens when you get stuck defending guilty morons.

You have to plod through lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of damning evidence.

Well PF isn’t your average, everyday idiot. I really hope we have a discovery dump at the end of this, because I think we’ll all laugh and laugh.

The case against him looked very strong at the preliminary hearing, but we ain’t seen nothing yet.

I hear the vests are hot and uncomfortable. I'm good with that.

Yes, and they also appear quite cumbersome and bulky.

Given that fact, I now feel an overwhelming concern for KK's safety in the courtroom.

She's going to have to wear one of those vests at all times.

It's for the best.

JMO.
Kelvar helmet and face mask too. Too bad about the hat hair and smeared mascara but you can’t be too careful. To feel pretty she can perch a tiara on top.

To give her testimony, you mean?

AB-SO-LUTE-LY.

No question about it.

I'm not even going to JMO this, that's how sure I am of that fact.
Ha! Yeah, there is zero doubt about it. She’s the single most important witness, as she will be able to tie everything together.

She will testify in person, and I imagine that she’ll be on the stand for a couple days.

Didn't her lawyer request that she appear in video in the beginning? Or was that in regard to something else? Something about her being so far away? (which is a joke considering she travelled so far to try to kill Kelsey and then clean up the mess)

Did the judge rule against it?

I think that had to do with the status of her case. There was a review hearing or something, and I think she didn’t have to physically appear.

It definitely wouldn’t apply to PF’s murder trial.

Ok, thanks! Here I was thinking she didn't even have to show up in person. There seemed to be so much discussion of it and so many complaints I thought it was for the actual trial!

The Court previously approved video appearance for KK status hearing (and I think there have only been 2 if I recall correctly).

But for the trial -- @GordianKnot is right that this isn't even a JMO that KK will be present in person.

The Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that "in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right…to be confronted with the witnesses against him." ... The right only applies to criminal prosecutions, not civil cases or other proceedings.

Thinking about this Tweet. I wonder if this is in regard to PF’s purchase history? Perhaps be bought...I dunno...candles?

Judge says there was an agreed upon return date this morning for Frazee’s Walgreens account. Looking around, it appears no one is here from Walgreens to provide that. Judge says he wouldn’t accept emails with that information.

It will be interesting to see how much dirt, the judge will allow, coming from the defense, against this prize witness.

These kinds of witnesses, who testify against their criminal partners, are fascinating to watch in a trial because the state has to walk a fine line.

On one hand, they have to prop the witness up as credible and believable. She has the ability to take PF down for murdering his wife.

And yet, the defense will be coming at her for taking part in the murders herself. And they will be able to question her about that. And she will look very bad to the jury for many reasons.

And so the State will have to agree with that somewhat becAuse it is the truth. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
