I'm wondering what the similarities are. They seem like 2 totally different scenarios. The lady in Ft. Collins...he broke into her apt., sexually attacked her and then set her apt. on fire. Kenia was at a nightclub, ?, killed, and then buried by a freeway.

Maybe he left behind something? I would like to know. I still feeel that there a victim on the way to Austin. I hope that girl that was with Travis the night that Le pick up Travis how lucky she was.

One receipt Forbes left in the bakery shows he bought $90 worth of lumber, including 1 X4 pieces of wood and wood planks.

Seems like in both cases he used bleach and arson to destroy evidence.

Police investigating the disappearance of 19-year-old Kenia Monge searched a computer at Travis Forbes' workplace and found he had visited multiple websites for women who had been reported missing.

Monica Poole, who rented space to Forbes at Deby's Bakery and Cafe in Aurora for his granola-bar business and is a witness in the Monge case, said Forbes often spent the night in her office, scanning the Internet.

She later found power tools in a tool box left next to the freezer. A Lowe's Home Improvement store receipt was found nearby, showing purchases for 1x4s and a sheet of plywood, materials police speculated he could have used to build a box.

After the employees went home, neighbors of the business saw men burning something in a large barrel behind Deby's. It got so hot that green paint bubbled off the outside of the barrel and asphalt underneath melted.

Oh how I wish they'd release a history of where perps like this have lived in the past so we could try and match up past crimes.

Texas Documents: Travis Forbes Wanted For Murder In May
Police Report Obtained By 7NEWS Shows Forbes Suspect In Missing Person/Homicide Investigation
Austin Documents: Forbes Wanted For Murder

The Forbes arrest report from Austin on May 5 lists the offenses for which he was arrested for or suspected of. One refers to "out of city auto theft," another reads "out of city murder."

"This says he was also arrested for an out of city murder. Was Denver Police wanting him for murder at this time?" asked 7NEWS reporter Marshall Zelinger.

"No. We were pretty clear throughout the entire investigation that Travis Forbes was not wanted, that he was not a suspect of any kind," said Denver Police Lt. Matt Murray. "Until we had probable cause, we did not arrest Travis Forbes nor did we ask somebody else to arrest him for us."

the above link has me confused. Denver said that Travis was not subject at the time of his arrest in Texas. But Texas has on their Doc wanted for city murder ????

All us that follow this case know from the very beginning that Travis was POI. Meanwhile in July Travis goes on to commit another violent crime against another woman. WTH

after reading a comment I agree the attack could had been prevent. In my heart I was sure LE was keeping eye on Travis. Guess I was wrong.

Update from Tony:

Well today we will find out if we can finally be able to get out from under the shadow of Forbes, he is scheduled in court today at 12:30 and what will happen I don't know yet, the ball is still in his court as far as us not having to deal with him anymore, today I will see him in person for the first time since the night of April 2nd

Man gets life in Denver nightclub slaying case
Monge got separated from her friends and left the nightclub, wandering the streets of downtown Denver. Investigators had surveillance footage of her walking into the lobby of a hotel, near where she met Forbes and another man.

The two tried to help get her a car home and she eventually got into Forbes' van. The other man was dropped off at home, and Forbes told investigators he sexually assaulted Monge when she passed out from drinking. An altercation happened when she regained consciousness in the van and Forbes strangled her, Morrissey said.
