Unfortunately, I have nothing I can add here. I wish there was more I could do as a local...

I feel the same. I want to help but don't know what to do. I feel horrible for Annie's mother and siblings.

bump bump

Where are you Annie?

The article states that a body has been found in Jefferson County, CO. Does not say a sex or really much information, but thought it should be posted here.

Edited: The updated article now says "human skeletal remains." Probably has been there for awhile, so its probably not Annie I would guess now...

Also would like to add, this is almost 20 miles from Annie's house (if I have the correct information) anyone know if this is where she would go hiking?

I read on one of the news articles that it seems the remains have been there for quite some time. I'm not sure what to make of that statement, but I get the impression it could mean several months or maybe longer? I was thinking when I read that maybe Amy Ahonen who went missing July 2011.

From the description, it sounds like the remains had been there for at least several months and probably years. I really doubt that this was Annie, but Amy is a possibility. Assuming investigators can get a good DNA sample, we may know as early as next week.

Not finding any new news about Annie lately. Sure hope something turns up soon.

It's going to be a beautiful day Annie. Your family is still here looking for you. Where the heck are you girl?

Still thinking about you, Annie. Hoping for some news soon! :please:

:candle:

Checking everyday for news. So frustrating not getting anything. I wonder if LE even knows the whereabouts of Annie's mysterious roommate.

I sure hope they have been keeping track of her. It appears that she is the key person that could give information that would help to locate Annie. Has Annie's computer or cell phone been located yet? If the roommate called in sick for Annie, did she use Annie's phone to do it? What about driving Annie's suv (statement from roommate's father) then leaving it abandoned? The family is just asking for Annie to be located right now. Why would it be so difficult for anyone with helpful information, to not share that?

Still thinking of and praying for Annie and her family - and all involved in trying to find the answers in her case. It's frustrating to not have anything from the roommate. There are just no leads at all.

LE have not yet released evidence from vehicle search. Still collecting other information. Family feels that answers may come soon. Annie needs to be located.

I sure hope this is the case - with answers forthcoming soon. :please:

I will pray some more. I also hope that whomever they can bring in can be found, or that they are already under surveillance, or something...

I see it is still quite cool with snow cover in the area. It will warm up soon and have many people out for walks and exploring areas that have not been readily accessible for awhile. Hopefully more information about Annie will turn up soon.
