Interesting that this guy says he will go to a level 3 or level 4, as our member/ prison consultant Larry? says he will be going to a level five. I wonder why the difference?

Where could Chris Watts serve his three consecutive life sentences?
Larry Nutter, a retired Colorado Department of Corrections captain and retired licensed psychotherapist said the staff is giving him IQ tests and personality inventories just like every other inmate before him.

"They are determining how dangerous he is," Nutter said.

Nutter said staff looks for red flags and said the biggest one they look for is violence. How violent he is will determine where he'll spend his sentences.

Nutter believes he'll go to a Level III or Level IV facility.

"What kind of people is he going to be housed around? The people that did the same sorts of things," Nutter said.

We've seen in Colorado inmates having to be moved out of state for their own safety, like Aurora theater shooter, James Holmes.

While Nutter acknowledges the severity of the crimes Watts committed, he believes Watts will serve his sentence in Colorado.

Let's see just how violent is he? Ummm he strangled his little daughters,and pregnant wife to death. I think it's safe to say you can skip the test,and put him in max security, solitary.

Shocking isn't it? Killing his wife and children won't make him stand out but actually blend in with the crowd, the prison crowd!
I don't think CW will take anyone on, he'll tow the line and play it safe. jmo

That makes sense when you position it like that! It's not necessarily for the charge of three murders, it's the danger to the other inmates and the folks who are in the prison.

An officer on scene noted a strong smell of cleaning chemicals in the home and remarked that Watts seemed to smirk and smile inappropriately and display a lack of empathy, specifically when he talked about his children.

I must have missed this part about the officer's observations at the home and how CW couldn't even feign concern for his children! Acting like he cared would add insult to injury considering he's their murderer but he was almost gleeful, he couldn't help himself! Sick, sick man!

The strong smell of cleaning products would've been a dead giveaway too! I wonder if the chemicals interfered with the dogs run through of the house?

I am wondering how much of Cindy's description came from the MRS folk. This was the same adjectives they were using to describe SW months ago. When I saw Cindy's interview, it immediately struck me that she used the same words. If this is accurate, then it's truly amazing (and frightening) how much influence SM has.

Was she or her family not feeding the MRS folk? It didn't seem likely to me that it was the other way around.

Upon entry to the home I immediately noticed a strong odor of cleaning chemicals. The home appeared spotless and the carpet had noticeable vacuum lines. As we walked to the kitchen/living room area, I observed that the television was on a sports show.

I agree she tried to see the best in people. Glad you now think so as well. Given SW’s good nature, it makes it all the more likely in my mind that she would not make up negative things about her MIL. She truly wanted a good relationship with CW’s family, but it appears to me they did not want that. I personally think they did not believe that the children had allergies just as they did not believe SW had any health issues. To me, it was playing with life and death to simply disregard her warnings of the tree but allergy in an effort to prove their misguided point. MOO

Yep! And he may even find the love of his life , who will of course be a lot more masculine than SW or NK, but hey! He likes to be passive and let someone else worry about details so that works! Sorry , I'm feeling snarky. it is almost Christmas time..just a magical time for children under five, especially but CeCe and Bella will miss out. And somehow I don't think it will bother CW near as.much as it does me .

If he is telling the truth, TB was brave in coming forward because he has gotten nothing but grief for doing so.
It makes me want to buy TB a Sephora gift certificate for Christmas.

I am not sure about TB truthfulness. Not that CW was not bisexual - he could have been - but TB with his botox lip looks such an attention-seeker. And what is it about the towel with CW's DNA? Who would keep a towel for 4 months? This part is so odd.

CW also said he was not used to having a relationship with his father in text messages between SW and CW after the nut allergy episode. I am interested in delving further into CW's family and the toxic dynamic there. It appears to be in stark contrast to Shanann's family, who has shown themselves to be loving,supportive and close. CW at one point when he was being interviewed by LE stated that his dad is his hero, but I sure don't see that. IMO

I thought his text said he was not used to NOT having a relationship with his father. He used a double negative, so it was confusing! I reread and realized he was implying that they were close.

Correct. I’m not sure why a family member would doubt a parents medical concerns regarding their own children. It’s shows complete ignorance imo.
