@OldCop, what's up White Pine(s), home of the swan dive?

Anything significant? Barry workable have known his performance would be photographed...so I think it's possible he was overwhelmed with genuine relief....

What mine shafts are near this location?

I've always thought his behavior that day indicated searchers were very close to her remains if she's not near PP. I wonder how a behavior specialist would interpret his need to caress the ground?

I wouldn't mind if Grusing had "grilled" him on this. Maybe he did?

Wonder if he has visited this spot again in the intervening time?

Questions but sadly, I have no answers.

I thought about that, too, but there was cadaverine on the bobcat and trailer where the three dogs hit.
It is possible SM left Puma Path tranquilized, but alive. Then, she died wherever she was taken and the cadaverine attached to her killer then. And her killer then returned to Puma Path and transferred the cadaverine to the trailer and Bobcat seat.

BM had some reason for the midday shower and multiple changes in dress at the hotel in Broomfield. And then he left that room to be occupied by one of his workers for the night and subsequent nights. I wonder if any cadaver dogs were taken to that hotel room.

No need, to search for an accurate date.

When did he say this? When he actually couldn't have known of JL? Or later? ;) Freudian slip or not? No need for a search.

I'm pouring over the AA again....

P. 89(91) he says, "i need this over....to move on....even if she comes back or even if we find her alive, she doesn't want me anymore anyway. So why should I put all of this, all of my heart, and my love into this relationship if she doesn't want me anymore?"

And P. 85 (87) Grusing asks Barry when he physically stopped searching for her. He said, "I searched for three, three to five months."

So even before he "learned" about the affair from LE, before he had any idea she "didn't want him anymore", he was all done looking for her.

Not a good look.

Grusing asks if there are any vertical shafts in the area.

Barry's own words (AA. P 85/87):

"Yeah, there's one behind the house that's on the very top, but it's plugged by a boulder. They plugged it. It doesn't go, I mean it goes straight down, and they plugged it."

When asked if there were more, he added

"There's another one, but it's been blown up -- by the house. I don't know of anything open by the house."

Bears investigating.

Sickening isn't he, searched three to five months - what a load of crap, searched 3 - 5 hours to hide her more like.
He knows exactly where she is - moo.

Because he needs to settle the misdemeanor cases…the voter ballot issue and the unlicensed short rifle. I would assume plea bargains on those both but who knows.
Two felony cases and one misdemeanor.

He faces three counts, two of them are felonies. They include:

Forgery - government-issued document
Attempt to influence a public servant

Elections - mail ballot offense (misdemeanor)

Barry Morphew charged in separate case related to voter fraud | 9news.com

One can be pro-Barry without citing incorrect facts. Then again, maybe not.

ETA: The most serious charge, a class 4 felony, carries a maximum penalty of six years.

According to 9NEWS legal analyst Whitney Traylor, the most serious charges he faces is a class 4 felony which carries the maximum of six years. The other felony carries a sentence of up to three years in prison. For the misdemeanor charge, he could face a fine of up to $5,000 and no more than 18 months in county jail.

Thanks for the clarification I thought the short rifle was also a misdemeanor and the additional open case to the voter fraud.

And what about the dangerous weapon, aka short rifle, charge? That hasn't gone away has it?

Not just him but everyone in both families. Both families need a break from the news and social cycle in my opinion.
Ol’ Bare has had his moments, unless you haven’t been paying attention.

Presumably napping at the HIE after having an exhaustive night disposing of a body, etc., etc.

Many ‘moments’ meeting up with Sho Sho for whatever reason.

Many ‘moments’ of probable excitement when he sold joint property.

Many ‘moments’ of pleasure while trying to convince his daughters he is not responsible for killing their mother. He has probably had lots of ‘moments’ since his strategy seems to have worked.

Guess I could go on but it would take too long.

Something got dropped connected to the murder but perhaps what remains is documented somewhere in Chaffee County. I still think whatever is left will just get plea bargained but you never know. My guess is the ballot thing where he signed on the witness line might end up fine and probation but not being sure exactly of the other charges I couldn’t guess.

I think she would have to be dead 10-12 hours before there would be any cadaverine. @10ofRods posted it, I believe.

If he darted her about 2:45, he could have moved her somewhere temporarily, then went back under the cover of darkness and threw her down a mine. He could have gotten covered in cadaverine that way. How it got on the bobcat and trailer is still a mystery, but I don't necessarily believe he didn't use the bobcat that night. He was out late at the beach house, about 11:30pm is what the lady said. What was he doing there? Switching a part from the bobcat that was on that property to his, maybe?

I think he took a bath in the hot tub fully clothed, then put his shorts and socks in the washer. Did LE find his ratty old blue sleeveless shirt in the dryer with his shorts and socks, too? I honestly don't remember.

Remember, he told Grusing they wouldn't find any evidence in the house, and he didn't care how long they searched it. I'm paraphrasing. He meant it, but he screwed up when it came to cadaverine on the bobcat and trailer. Only he could have put that there.

I hope LE had cadaver dogs at the hotel and I hope they let the dogs sniff at all 5 trash stops, including the wall where he never worked that day. He probably took 5 showers that day, one for each trash stop. He knew he had Suzanne's cadaverine remains on his clothing, the reason for so many changes of clothes. By the time he returned to Maysville, he more than likely smelled like a 5 gallon bucket of chlorine bleach.

I hope they only accept a plea that includes conviction on a felony because that man never needs to own another gun or be allowed to hunt again at the very least. That would hurt more than any monetary fine would. He has admitted to so many things that are just unethical and NOT things a person who legally owns guns should be doing so he should just not be owning guns and this is not counting murdering Suzanne.. just tranquilizing deer, shooting chipmunks like 80+ of them.. owning an illegal weapon, then voting for his dead wife.. he thinks laws don't apply to him clearly he lacks judgement also.

His lawyer said he was going to Indiana, then to look for Suzanne. Yeah, sure. She lies like he does.

No, no plea. He needs to go back to jail for a while.

I could be wrong. But I don’t believe he will be well received here in Indiana. And it’s only a few miles to Michigan where JL and his family are.
