I think it depends where you live - rural vs urban. Was she going back out that day - . Many people leave their door unlocked at night too
I don’t find this unusual at all. My Dad used to leave his wallet in the car. His whole life. My Mom on the other hand, carried her purse around like it was glued to her. Think Sophia on Golden Girls. Personal preference Only I think IMO
LOL @ Sophia on Golden Girls! I lol'd out loud at that one! :)

Well, if their religious thought processes are similar to BM, they are likely thinking SM had it coming. I try to remember that some of these sickos are the way they are BECAUSE of their families. BM’s train derailed a loooong time ago. JMHO
The sister's words to Lauren at the last court appearance are still ringing in my ears ... you have destroyed our family. That told me all I need to know about them.

Sorry, pbi, why was BM trusting of Agent Grusing?
Because he probably thought he had baffled Agent Grusing with his <modsnip> and that he had won him over and had made himself a new friend. Only to find out differently, that must've really burned BM's <modsnip> !! LOL

I can’t get past BM leaving at 5:30 am to go to Broomfield on a Sunday, only to stay in the hotel room most of the day.

He admits he’s a tightwad (too cheap to pay for trash disposal), but he will spend money on a hotel room in the morning, to watch TV all day. Leaving Suzanne alone on Mother’s Day, after a great evening with his “angel”.

There is no reasonable, logical explanation for that.

They’ve set it up to deliver their theory tomorrow, but I think that’s going to wind up being close. Looks like she may have run to the master bedroom and he kicked the door in.

The garage safe is actually pretty common, as I think it was a gun safe.
Our gun safe is so heavy! It was delivered by a truck that had a tommy lift and still took several men to get it to its location once in the house!

The only thing I see so far that may support the first degree charge is the tranquilizer dart. If he used the dart, maybe they think they can prove that he had time to think about what he was doing before she was somehow killed. But can they even prove that he used the dart? Maybe. JMO.

Only if the judge allows. It is his courtroom.
Yes but I don’t see how he can’t. In order to sell that scenario, the defense has to tear Suzanne down and turn her into a person who would run away and leave her family.

You really can’t tie the defense’s hands in that regard, as they owe it to their client.

It’s pure baseless nonsense that will be destroyed, but I’m convinced that’s going to be it.

I still have 15 pages left to catch up on here, but there are a couple things that jumped out at me:

•I’ll bet anything that “CBD Tim” was a name saved in Suzanne’s phone contacts. Possibly an owner of a local dispensary? The way BM seems to say that name with disdain makes me think all he knows of “CBD Tim” is that it’s a man’a name saved in his wife’s contact list. BM’s jealousy really shows how insecure he really is (along with his egomania).

All MOO, naturally.

And the fact he knew exactly what dumpsters to visit. Before hand. His excuse is BS. IMO. Going to the Spa and Stove, not buying anything? Not sure

I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here. I think he's guilty in some way but I don't have enough that I think warrants a trial.

To me 'REAL' evidence is bM's DNA on a weapon or body or places it shouldn't be, video evidence of him disposing a body, A CRIME SCENE, a murder weapon with a direct link to bM, blood or DNA evidence in bM's truck, home, hotel room, video of him purchasing a murder weapon or something to help him in the murder or disposal of a body, an audio recording of him harming SM, DIRECT evidence of a blatant lie, computer forensics of internet searches that indicate anything related to a crime, phone evidence of threatening messages, phone records that prove statements he made are false, WITNESSES!!!, mistresses coming forward, evidence of past violence, CCTV of him doing something illegal or catching him in a lie, an accomplice coming forward, an admission of a crime, a body or parts of a body, a money trail that indicates a crime, paperwork that incriminates him.....I could go on but I think you get the idea.

There is none of that here. After over a year there isn't any hard, real evidence that bM did anything illegal. Fishy, yes. Illegal no. I said this earlier you can't try a guy for being a jerk.

Right now all I see is some evidence of a truck computer being reset, a few time stamps and GPS readings that may or may not be accurate, and a narcissist who thinks the world should revolve around him. I also see a woman who is having an affair, who may have a drug and alcohol problem, who has admitted that she wanted to take off and disappear to Ecuador because of a failed marriage and who used a spy pen to spy on her devoted husband ( ok that made me want to puke and I'm sorry I typed it but that's how the defense is going to spin things) There's more hard evidence of Suzanne being dishonest and shady then there is of bM being dishonest and shady. At least from the stuff that has been presented in court so far.

I hate that I think this way but I'm putting myself in the position of being a juror and so far, I'm not seeing anything that makes me think he killed her 100%.
This is NOT a trial. They will only produce enough evidence to convince the judge to hold this case over for trial. They will keep as much as they can under wrap till the trial. Also, the judge has read the arrest warrant and has a lot more information than is being discussed at this probable cause hearing. Have faith!!

but it is no more indicative of direct communication from Suzanne than the dark phone. Last proof of life photo...and last two way communication with JL is where the buck stops.

for some reason, it seems to me this was a cry for help from her. Can one restore the sequence in which they were asked to befriend her? If not Barry - Maybe first letters of their names convey a message? (I know it is naive, but this “highly irregular” activity might be the only way to drag attention, to ask for help. Like

Harry A
Evans M
Lucas G
Peter S

would mean, help. She could have sent the name of a place, names are alphabet.

Hmmm thinking about the bank account she opened in April - I wonder if she received her first statement (for April 2020) that week and he got the mail ? My statements take about 7 days. If this is the case, That may have added to his growing anger (just my guess) resulting in Saturday’s events? jmo

I don't think it takes an "enormous ego" to be hurt by the knowledge that one's longterm spouse has been unfaithful. Surely she knew about his arrogance for quite some time. And at one point, said she loved him.

Anyway, all my friends who have experienced infidelity have reacted so much more strongly than I thought they were capable (about anything)...I've come to view it differently. No one has ever been unfaithful to me, so I haven't been through it. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't murder anyone (which is the key point here).

But he doesn't have to be narcissistic or disordered to experience rage. It's a normal human emotion (PM for citations if you wish, it's an interesting topic).

Exactly, anger along with many emotions is normal .... murder is not.

Twenty two years ago when I discovered my ex husband's affair, even now I can remember every detail of that night, every feeling that I had when I found out what had been going on. At the end of hours of heated discussions from both of us he fell asleep on the lounge, I can remember looking at him sleeping and I wanted to hurt him, I think I may have wanted to really harm him, I watched him for the longest time.

I didn't hurt him, I walked away with two children & got a divorce!
