“It was only because I didn’t know the time that I did something, a mechanical thing, to my bobcat...” he said.
At the risk of taking him for his word, could this mean that all other aspects of his story/timeline are LE-verifiable but for this single inconsistency? 5 am, Denver for worksite prep, etc. Did he tell them about this mechanical thing, but just messed up the “time” it happened, whether on purpose or because it was all a blur in a panic (wasn’t really checking the watch then)?
I just feel like the whole trip to Denver aspect should be squeaky-clean if planned as an alibi. All other “things” completed by 5 am Sunday. Not too ideal to be spotted stopping along the way, captured on camera slowly making progress, or just being seen doing anything but driving straight to Denver (in the daylight?). Saturday night is smack in the middle of timeline, as people have said here before. That search was awfully public, unlike many others. Something important sure seems to center around there, the darkness, and the timeline. IMO.
