No one quite understands this story from northern CA. The town of Rocklin is in Placer County 22 miles away from Sacramento in Sacramento County. So why were these deputies acting outside of their jurisdiction?

The article refers to “law enforcement partners” so it may be that the two counties have some kind of cooperative arrangement for certain situations. Placer county may not have the manpower to handle something like this alone. Just a guess.

So, I watched "outbreak" on Netflix tonight. First half was good. Scary, but good. 2nd half was very dumb, fast forwarded till end of movie.
